## What is inkproof?

Don’t settle for a name that only looks Chinese. Choose one you truly understand.

inkproof gives your name 4 Chinese-name directions — from full transliteration and a shorter form to more natural Chinese-style names. First confirm the real pronunciation, then compare each name by character meaning, real Chinese usage, pronunciation, and full stroke order.

You can also start from your own personality, choosing the traits and characters you genuinely want the name to express. If you don’t like a character, replace it and compare how the meaning and overall feel change.

It also supports Traditional / Simplified Chinese and naming conventions across different Chinese-speaking regions, so what you see is not just a few Chinese characters, but a complete Chinese name.

Behind it is not a preset list of names, but 2,005 curated naming characters, 222 Chinese surnames, 5,346 real Chinese example words, and 2,806 stroke-order glyphs.

Every result can be explored further.

It doesn’t just generate a Chinese name.
It helps you understand why each character was chosen, what the name expresses, and why it may be worth choosing.
