## What is Inkstead?

Inkstead is a calm RSS reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Follow the websites and people you care about without turning reading into another noisy timeline. Today keeps the day's posts close, Saved keeps pieces worth returning to, and All holds your whole library.

Group feeds into a lens and see the stories that matter once, not five times. Miss a day, and a short recap catches you up.

Import OPML, save articles, sync through iCloud, and read comfortably with a quiet, content-first interface. Inkstead has no separate reader account, no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.

When you want to write something of your own, Inkstead can connect to your website through Inkstead Writer, an optional companion for creating and managing posts from the app.

Smarter Siri: ask for your saved or recently read stories in your own words, then tap any of them to open it. Search suggestions learn from what you actually read.

For Writer: images you add to a post get a description written for you, on your device.

Polish throughout: cleaner articles, a more dependable refresh when you return to the app and better dark mode colours.

Search comes to Inkstead: search your whole library, stories, feeds and lenses.

Deeper system integration: Ask Siri for your saved or recently read stories, find saved stories in Spotlight, hand off reading between your devices mid-article, and put a lens on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or in StandBy.

For Writer: share posts to more networks through Buffer, and write about a story you're reading with one tap.
