## What is InkVault?

InkVault is a private studio management app for professional tattoo artists and tattoo studios. Keep daily operations organized with client records, appointment scheduling, deposit tracking, consent forms, tattoo reference images, Apple Calendar support, SMS reminder drafting, branded PDFs, and manual backups.

InkVault is designed for artists and studio staff only. It is not a client portal, and clients do not create accounts or log in.

Built for a low-overhead studio workflow:
- Manage clients and private notes
- Schedule tattoo appointments
- Track quoted prices, deposits, balances, and appointment status
- Attach tattoo reference images
- Create digital consent forms with signatures
- Export consent, appointment, and client-history PDFs
- Draft appointment reminder texts using the native Messages composer
- Add appointments to Apple Calendar
- Use local-first storage with optional iCloud sync on supported signed builds
- Export and import JSON backups

InkVault does not use a backend server, social features, marketplace systems, AI APIs, Firebase, Supabase, or Twilio.
