### 5/5 — My Favorite App

*2026-01-05*

This is the first time I’ve written a review for an app, and I felt compelled to do so after using Inkwell for a few weeks.

Inkwell is everything I wanted in a micro journaling app. It’s private, loads quickly, is not bloated, and tracks stats without gamifying journaling.

To top it off the app looks really good and performs well. I use it 2-3 times a day for venting or just expressing my thoughts. It’s replaced my doomscrolling and I’ve used it to journal consistently for the first time in my life.
