Requesting your Spotter is easy—here’s how it works:
- Just open the app and provide event details including an ask price you are willing to pay.
- The app uses your location so you can easily determine the event address upon request.
- Once line sitting request has been submitted, Spotters can accept.
- You’ll see your Spotter’s picture, including notifications to communicate within the app.
- Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express within the app upon exchanging places in line.
- Afterwards, you can rate your Spotter and provide feedback to help us improve the line sitting experience.

### 2/5 — Almost amazing

I just downloaded the app because I heard about line sitting and thought I was perfect for the job. The app looks good and seems to run just fine. I made my account and saw 2 requests immediately and was pretty excited, until I saw that they were in Nevada. I live just outside of Atlanta Georgie. This app would be amazing if it had some kind of zoning feature like door dash.(I used to door dash so it’s an easy comparison) Only being able to see requests from you’re current location, or the ability to set a location would be great. I don’t know if this app still gets updates, I’m guessing not since the last update was a year ago, but I really think this app could be great if the developer added a couple things.

Needed tickets to my favorite band in Lincoln Nebraska on February 25th 2020.  I was stuck in Miami the day before.  InLine came through for me and was awesome.  Great customer service and I can't thank them enough.  They helped me fulfill a family dream come true.

I was so excited and wanted to do this but I am very unhappy it only offers to login with a gmail account. I am very against them and their privacy standards and only use Apple. So I will never know if I could have enjoyed working as a line sitter. Sigh.

As you use Gmail and other products from Google, you have the power to control and protect your personal information and usage history. I entered the wrong credit card info and need to change but can’t figure out how. Please advise. This should be easier to do on an app

### 3/5 — Looks simple, but one glaring Issue

Heard about the kind of money line sitters can make, downloaded the app to get in on it. I’m situated right smack between Jacksonville and Saint Augustine FL, and there’s no way to figure out how much activity there is in my area.... There could be hundreds of requests a month, tens, or maybe none at all, there’s no way of knowing. 

If there was a feature showing previous sitting jobs along with rate charged and amount of time, it would make things SO much easier to get a grasp on how active of an area im in. Without this info, new people interested in jumping in on line sitting could get quickly turned off to the prospect by not knowing how much/little opportunity there is in their area.

### 2/5 — Time zone issues and not user friendly

I am based in eastern time and requested a sitter for 2-5pm in nashville, a central time (-1 hour) location. Since I selected Nashville as the line location and time I thought I was set - however, apparently it assumed I meant NY time and the spotter started an hour early. There is no time zone confirm option but makes no sense to not be on the requested location’s time.

App was also very buggy - froze frequently and I ended up with 3 people accepting two requests (still unsure how that was possible). Messaging kept freezing as well. 

Support email team was pleasant but ineffective.

Recently we addressed the app messaging feature and continue to enhance the app to maintain the best user experience possible.  As of today, we've had hundreds of users successfully use the app and we always welcome suggestions and feedback.

The idea of the app is great, and could really fill a need, however no one knows about it. They need more advertisement.

Since the app release in mid-April 2018, we continue to spread the word using several means of advertising so that we can maintain that hopper to spotter balance.

This app requires you to type in your google password. The developers are either too dumb to figure out oauth or they’re phishing. Either way, not to be trusted with your login credentials nor credit card info.

The InLine4You app does use OAuth with a sign in window provided by Google and follows Google's authentication standards. When users first log in, they are presented the opportunity to either choose an existing Google account or create a new one.  InLine4You does not store any credit card/bank account info.  Our secure payment processor, ProPay, handles all payment info and transactions.  This is done for user protection.
