Good luck attempting to create an account. The only screen I saw was email and password with no option at all for anything unless you forgot your username or password. Messages have to be typed out manually. I could complain or nitpick any app I use. I am surprised & even disappointed to read the reviews for this app does just that. This app lets our family and friends, whoever it is that is away from us on the outside keep very much in touch with loved ones and they have kept it very affordable and very way to use. This app could possibly be or has been a lifesaver to many people inside those jail walls and that is better and more than worth a very big thank you and show of appreciation. I know it means the world to me and to my loved one. We kept each other going and getting through hard times ileopeeeeethis app made the time apart don’t know so much more bearable to us both. ### 4/5 — Purchasing credits *2021-12-17* Everything is great, except you can’t purchase credits through app. You have to go online, which takes you through the same log in process so it doesn’t make sense. ### 3/5 — Fix the glitch *2024-02-26* I was ok with the app even though I had to wait for an email to tell me that the person responded. But since I updated it when I hit the app it kicks my out of the whole app with a black screen and how having to use the website which is very inconvenient bc I’m not good with remembering my password and having to login everytime I get a message so please fix the glitch ### 3/5 — Create account via website before using app *2022-01-30, version 2.5* Took me a while before I figured out I could create an account only through the website (inmateinbox.com), and only after I did that could I log in to the app and use it. Wish the “home page” of the app gave those instructions. Also, I wish I could use PayPal to buy credits. I am unwilling to enter my credit card information onto a website for an app that has only a few dozen reviews. So I have to wait until my loved one has earned enough credits to read my message. I’m thinking I need to open a new credit card account to use only for this app - something pre-paid with a very low limit - until I grow to trust that my info. will be safe. I do receive notifications, so the earlier reviews that complained about that seem to no longer apply. Seems the app was built for android users, so some of the advertised functionality (eg, ability to use PayPal) does not yet apply to iOS users. ### 3/5 — Purchase credits option *2021-03-29* I’m not given an option to purchase credits in the app not even when I send a message. ### 2/5 — Unreliable App *2025-04-08* I have to uninstall this app at least twice a week because it buffers and will not send the messages and also my husband was transferred to another facility I had to create another account O was able to transfer the money but noe of the photos were transferred even though its the same inmate with the same company guess thats a way to spend more money to resend the same photos ### 2/5 — App fails *2023-06-09* The app crashes and doesn’t send messages.
