## What is Inner House?

Inner House is a private companion for plural systems — a calm, organized space to keep track of your inner world and care for it together.

Whether your system is large or small, newly discovered or long understood, Inner House gives every part a place to belong and gives the whole system a shared home.

A HOME FOR EVERY PART
• Give each part their own room — name, colors, design, and the details that matter to them
• Browse your House Map to see your system at a glance
• Keep notes, appearances, and care details in one organized place

KNOW WHO'S HOME
• Quick front check-ins to note who's present and how things feel
• Look back on patterns over time, in your own words
• Gentle reminders that fit your day

TOOLS FOR HARD MOMENTS
• A Safe Room with calming, grounding spaces you can step into anytime
• Pinned notes and shortcuts for what helps most
• Home-screen widgets for fast, private access

TOGETHER, ON YOUR TERMS
• House Polls and House Rules to make decisions as a system
• Connections to share parts of your world with trusted people — invite-only, never automatic

FOR THE PEOPLE YOU INVITE
• Give a trusted advocate their own supportive space — a "How to Help" guide, support cards, and a shared safety plan, all shaped by you
• Share a focused workspace with a therapist you choose — grounding plans and notes they can see only when you decide
• Every connection is invite-only and off by default. You set exactly what each person sees, and you can change or turn off access anytime

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your records live under your control, protected behind Face ID if you want
• Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it
• Export readable summaries or full backups of your own data whenever you like

Inner House is a supportive, organizational companion built with and for the plural community. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional care.

### 1/5 — Wouldn’t allow me to make account

*2026-08-02*

Said to check my connection, well my connection is fine very big bug on your end

**Developer response:** I apologize, but I have not received any emails regarding this. Have you contacted support directly? Please email me a screenshot or screen recording showing the error you are receiving so I can look into it.

### 1/5 — Endless bugs

*2026-07-27*

Endless bugs, extremely hard to navigate, clearly made with AI through and through

### 4/5 — Unable to upload images

*2026-07-23*

Me and my partner love this app but the bugs and the inability to upload our own images due to a bug made the whole set up extremely frustrating to the point where we don’t want to add our other alters till it’s fixed. A few more profile themes like a red or something else would be amazing too. Other than that the app is pretty amazing! We love it so far

We both paid for pro so we’re hoping the bugs are fixed asap!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your patience and for letting us know how much this affected your setup. The image upload issue has now been fixed in our latest update, so you should be able to add your own profile and room images again. We also appreciate the suggestion for more profile themes and colors. Thank you both for supporting Inner House Pro!

### 2/5 — Locked out

*2026-07-23*

While setting up the app I went to settings and tried the lockout feature. Now I haven't been able to get back into my account for 30 minutes, I even tried deleting and reinstalling.

**Developer response:** I’m really sorry you were unable to get back into the app after testing the lockout feature. That should never leave someone stuck outside their account. Please contact us through App Support so we can help you regain access and look into exactly what happened.

### 4/5 — Love this.. but bugs…

*2026-07-21*

I honestly love this app… the only problem I have with it is potential bugs and glitches. It won’t except upload images, constantly give “try again later” and sometimes the shared rooms gets error codes. And sometimes when tryna select groups. It won’t select. Overall I still love this app. It just have a few bugs that needs to be fixed

**Developer response:** We really appreciate your honest feedback and are glad you still see the potential in Inner House despite the glitches. Image uploads, shared room errors, and group selection problems are all serious issues, and reports like yours help us understand exactly where people are getting stuck. We’re continuing to work on stability and reliability with each update. Thank you for being patient with us.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-07-18*

At first I was unsure. I guess I was expecting it to be like the other apps for systems. It’s not but it has turned out to be a good thing. I can tell so much work has gone into this app. It is so thoughtful and love the concept.

**Developer response:** This means so much to us. Inner House was intentionally created to feel different from other system apps, so hearing that the difference turned into something positive for you is incredibly encouraging. Thank you for recognizing the thought and work behind it, and for taking the time to leave such a kind review.

### 1/5 — dislike AI avatars

*2026-07-11*

the app looks nice and we like the feature having sections per member you could fill out like please avoid and grounding item. sometimes difficult to navigate around though, especially in a members profile section.

dont like the fact that it has AI generated avatars and bedrooms, and that they have paid AI avatars. you only get to choose between set avatars and need a subscription to upload your own.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. Im really glad you liked the design and features like the member profile sections.

I also appreciate your comments about navigation. Thats something I am actively working on and hoping to keep improving with each update.

Regarding custom uploads, I completely understand where you're coming from. I actually went back and forth for a long time about whether to not include custom uploads at all and keep everything completley free, or give users the option to upload their own images through Pro. In the end I decided to offer it with Pro because storing and syncing user uploaded images does create ongoing costs for me as a solo developer.

My goal is still to keep as many of the core features free as possible while using Pro to help cover features that cost me money to continue offering. I really do appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind as I continue working on Inner House.

### 1/5 — Too good to be true

*2026-07-07*

Telling by the screenshots of the photos, it piqued our interest and got our attention quickly. Until we installed it and already we had to create an account or use an email. We use PluralLog which doesn’t require an email to sign in because it’s local and offline. We don’t really trust an application that stores our data or track our privacy unless it’s absolute necessary. Which sucks because this app looks absolute visual appealing but it’s not worth the risk if it’s not local or offline.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We completely understand why privacy is such an important consideration, especially for a deeply personal app like Inner House. Accounts are required so your information can be securely backed up, synced across your devices, and shared only with the trusted people you choose. We do not track your location, and your personal information is never shared without your permission. We do collect limited analytics and diagnostic information to help us understand how the app is functioning, identify bugs, and improve the experience, but not to monitor your personal activities. We truly appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make our privacy practices even clearer.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-07-05*

The app is what I’ve been looking for! I can tell there was so much love and hard work put into this app. This app is so visually stunning!

I love that it gives you examples, give you grounding skills, is customizable (but not too much that it’s overwhelming), and that I can share things with people who I trust.

The only con is that there are a few confusing mechanics. For example, knowing the differences of each membership plan or how to access the “Roomie Packs”. These confusing mechanics aren’t that big of deal since it doesn’t really interfere and can be easily fixed.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're incredibly grateful for your kind words and are so happy to hear that Inner House has been a positive experience for you. We also appreciate your feedback about the membership plans and Roomie Packs. Making those features easier to understand is something we're actively working to improve, and feedback like yours helps us prioritize those changes. Thank you for being part of the Inner House community!
