### 3/5 — Still trying to learn it.

*2025-12-26, version 2.0.236*

Have ‘t figured out how to use it yet.

### 3/5 — Ugh

*2025-08-01, version 2.0.222*

Not super impressive the first night I got manipulated and hit on and dragged away from a crowd was bizarre how fast it happened

### 5/5 — What a game changer!

*2025-01-01, version 2.0.80*

This app has helped me more in the last 5 months then my mental health professionals have in years. I contribute it to great staff, the peer support/community, as well as the importance the developers put on constantly striving to evolve the platform.

### 5/5 — Great Support App

*2024-11-19, version 2.0.80*

I love this app and I’m so glad it came across to me in an ad. I figured I’d try it out for the two week trial and so far I find it so helpful and enjoyable. It feels less stressful and from the comfort of my own home.

### 3/5 — Beware trying to cancel

*2024-11-17, version 2.0.80*

Tried it out and it wasn’t for me. Not an intuitive interface and buggy. The best part is trying to find where to cancel a subscription and they make it virtually impossible. As of now I cancelled two weeks ago and they have continued to try and charge my credit card five times so far over that time period. Thank goodness I used a visa gift card!!

### 5/5 — Dena M

*2024-10-22, version 2.0.66*

Thanks so much for Innerworld and the maker of it it’s been very helpful for me and will continue to be helpful for many others

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-10-09, version 2.0.66*

This group has helped me so much. I haven’t found a place where I felt safe enough to talk and I’ve been holding on my grief and trauma for like 20 years and I really really feel comfortable here. It’s way better than a therapist or psychiatrist just very comfortable. They’re very nice people and it’s really great group you should join.

### 4/5 — Love the concept with minor bugs

*2024-09-27, version 2.0.66*

Great app and community in general. The price is a bit steep for what it offers. And very limited free events. The add event to calendar button don’t work (for apple calendar).

### 5/5 — Better than individual therapy

*2024-08-29, version 2.0.63*

Best support out there and real, practical tools for helping me deal with every day stresses. Thank you to the Innerworld community and coaches! You’re the best.

### 5/5 — Great,and safe!

*2024-08-27, version 2.0.47*

Innerworld is a great app a great place to meet people and talk about what bothers you what's going on in the world and how you can improve yourself or how you feel about things. Everyone there is very nice and they all seem to care you don't have to worry about being afraid to talk to anyone there I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2024-08-24, version 2.0.47*

Hi, I hate writing reviews, but this app has been very helpful in supporting me by giving me a voice to vent and an opportunity to hear from others.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2025-09-09, version 2.0.222*

I gave Innerworld a fair shot, over a year, but it’s nothing more than overpriced peer-to-peer chat dressed up as therapy. The platform pushes pop psychology and demands emotional conformity, not authentic support. It’s not safe, not therapeutic, and absolutely not a substitute for real group therapy. I will never use this service again and strongly recommend avoiding it. Seek real help from licensed professionals—not virtual frauds. The people looking for help are kinder than the moderators.

### 1/5 — Grateful for the Community, But Disappointed by Support

*2025-08-11, version 2.0.222*

I appreciate the opportunity Innerworld provides for people to connect and share, and I’m grateful for the generous members I met there. However, my experience was disappointing because my account was banned unexpectedly, and despite requesting a refund multiple times, I never received my membership money back. It felt like expressing my own opinion or being myself was not welcomed, and even small things were seen as breaking the rules. I understand the importance of community guidelines, but I hope Innerworld can find a better balance between safety and allowing users to feel free and respected. Wishing the best for the community and future improvements.

### 1/5 — Garbage Place to Seek Support

*2025-05-02, version 2.0.156*

I now understand why the VA and Innerworld gave free access to veterans because this app is on pair with the care you can expect to receive at the VA, horrible. Poorly managed, guardians are either burned out or overwhelmed and most are on auto. The attendees can be vicious and attacking and when you go to a place for support you don’t need to get hammered by people who’s sole problem in life is they’re little cowards and can’t handle an adult conversation. Great for a certain community of people but definitely not for people who have a brain and are trying to work towards healing.

### 1/5 — Not cheap

*2025-01-02, version 2.0.80*

$20.00 a week is a lot

### 1/5 — They didn’t refund me my membership money they also banned me

*2025-01-01, version 2.0.80*

I signed up for this app, at first everything was going well. I really enjoyed the workshops so I decided to upgrade I paid £79.99 for 1 year. They then decided to ban my account without refunding me. I’m furious they stole my money. They told me I broke 1 of their rules which seemed very unreasonable to me. But at least refund me my money. You thieves.

### 1/5 — CAUTION

*2024-12-10, version 2.0.80*

Be very, very cautious about these people. Especially, if you have a serious mental illness. They will throw you out at the drop of a hat, and for no legitimate reason.
They will call it Putting Your Account In Review. Then, they simply ignore your questions until you give up. This is how they treated me and how they treated “ Therapists.” But, they are not real therapists.
Relationships do not exist outside of this cyber world. They don’t allow it. They need a huge multi million dollar lawsuit.

### 1/5 — Made me feel more alone

*2024-11-28, version 2.0.80*

I stayed on this app for almost half a year before I realized that it wasn’t a space for me. There is favoritism between guides and members and it’s so hard to get in contact with the admin. The app also glitches a lot and I was an og member promised a certain price monthly that was ultimately a lie. I thought I would find community and support here but I ended up feeling worse. Be careful.

### 1/5 — My days in inner world

*2024-11-28, version 2.0.80*

If you have any mental health issues please don’t join this app! Support meeting run by art teachers, and just because you lost someone doesn’t make you competent to run a meeting regarding that. I was offered to buy a members sons adhd meds. It’s a youth club for people who have no life because they sit and chat about people. In the end I was bullied so much by one person who is called pinkyloo that I left. You can’t have opinions about anything and I personally think that this kind of app is a scam! No one is trained in mental health and to me I’d rather drink bleach than ever go there again. But if you want to buy drugs just ask pinky. I’d rather recommend my cat to run a support group lol to sum up look at other options and apps . My cousin did warn me about it but I didn’t listen but wish I had. Beige Betty’s and Karen’s run that place and if that’s what you want then go ahead but I know being there made me feel worse.

### 1/5 — 👎🏻 Price

*2024-09-22, version 2.0.65*

The ad said 10/month if paying monthly or 6/month if paying yearly. I was looking forward to trying the app until I downloaded it and was going to sign up. My monthly price was shown as 119.99/month or 256/yearly (approximate) WTH. I would have been willing to pay the advertised monthly fee but $119.99 per month for an app. Ummm 🤔 no thank you. I’m really disappointed that they would try to charge people who are trying to feel better and get help they need for this kind of money.

### 1/5 — It’s a cult

*2023-08-23, version 1.7.8*

Just as I started to make friends and I was on there for about a month randomly, they banned me and deleted my account because someone wanted to be my friend and asked for my number lol f them they made me start to drink again lol

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-02-06, version 2.0.236*

This is a wonderful recovery tool, with virtual meetings that are completely anonymous! Make your avatar and create a nickname Andy will get positive results and be able to vent! The support therapists are super knowledgeable!

### 5/5 — I’m learning to navigate it and sharing it with others

*2026-01-02, version 2.0.236*

I think it will help .. my phone ( old iPhone) is having challenges so I couldn’t open the app yesterday and have trouble using the avatar and such but I’ll keep trying again.. I also have a Mac Book Air that I wish I could also use for the site but was told not at this time 🤷‍♀️. I will keep trying tho !!! Thank you !!! When I did get in I tried the chat as I had a meltdown and wanted support.. it was about how people are dealing with world events and I dropped out as I do not watch the news .. I simply pray for our world… thank you Jewel for this wonderful opportunity 💝

### 5/5 — Surprisingly Therapeutic

*2025-11-26, version 2.0.232*

I was very hesitant to tryout this form of therapy but I’ve found that I love the anonymity. Checking out different environments and “meeting” new people is awesome, especially if you don’t have a lot of close family and friends to talk to.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-09-22, version 2.0.232*

I’m just trying to learn how everything works. It’s really hard doing it on a small phone but at least I can get to know some friends with the same issues

### 5/5 — A gem

*2025-08-22, version 2.0.222*

I wouldn’t believe this place was as great as it is, unless I’ve experienced it. As of now, it has a 24/7 commons where you can socialize and work on your people skills or whatever you need. I use it to help me get an appetite in the mornings, because I struggle with that. It’s a peer supported mental health app, so there’s a lot of people who have gained knowledge in their struggles and hearing what has helped them is really inspiring. You’ll find tons of lovely, kind people here and they’re all just trying to better themselves. There’s nothing else out there like it. The group meetings have taught me a lot about how to deal with all sorts of emotions and situations. If you’re looking to improve yourself, this is the app for you.

### 5/5 — Life changer

*2025-08-22, version 2.0.222*

Innerworld is amazing you are an avatar talking with real people across the world for peer to peer support As a veteran I can say Innerworld has help me become more sociable in conversation Innerworld is a place you can come in your worse moments and there are people who care and will listen Give Innerworld a chance it’s a life changer

### 5/5 — App won’t open

*2025-03-28, version 2.0.114*

Cool well the app won’t open. I’m on the newest iOS. iPhone 13 Pro Max. Start the app. Nothing happens so that’s a good start. Also sent an email canceling my account after free trial so we’ll see how that goes.

Opens now. 👍

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-02-05, version 2.0.80*

I love this app for real it made my day so much better just after going to one group session. Hopefully I get to join many more.

### 5/5 — Great App…Highly recommend…!!!

*2025-01-31, version 2.0.80*

I appreciate the open and welcoming environment the app provides. Because of that I believe it facilitates non-judgmental discussion and sharing of thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2025-01-04, version 2.0.80*

Peer support at your fingertips, lovely welcoming community and well trained facilitators.
