Doesn’t work over data cause it takes 10 minutes to log in for it to fail suggest getting a new bank and a new app entirely close your your account with innovation ! ### 1/5 — Bad user interface *2026-05-13, version 1.2.7* App isn’t user friendly and takes a lot of time to load and the instructions are not appropriate for the functions to be completed. Feels like a very preliminary version. ### 1/5 — Overdraft charges regularly *2026-02-02, version 1.2.7* Innovation charges me overdraft fees regularly. If I don’t have money it won’t let me Etransfer. Fine that’s good. Then I do have money and it lets me send Etransfer then charges me overdraft because apparently the money is not actually there till the bank opens in the morning. Bunch of thieves. ### 1/5 — Poor *2025-09-28, version 1.2.6* Won’t log in to personal accounts. Will log in to business account. Web page works on both but can’t swap between them . Response to my complaint was “it must be your device” and a contact for the bank ombudsman. Way to try. ### 1/5 — Slow. The worst. *2025-09-17, version 1.2.6* It is slow, not user friendly and does not feel modern. The transactions page should show up automatically. The filter is hard to use to find transactions. Look at other bank’s apps. They’re much nicer. When paying bills on cibc it tells me the previous amount I paid which is helpful. Yours does not. ### 1/5 — New 6 digit code sent to email *2025-08-15* The new six digit code sent to your email or telephone number for extra security is horrific and has not worked for three months, making banking extremely hard with Innovation credit union . I should be able to use my app on my phone with my password and username or my Touch ID Why there is another level of security I do not understand and especially since it’s not working me the six digit code to my email. I have to call Customer service each time I try to make a transfer and it takes an extra half hour or more out of my day to make a simple transfer **Developer response:** So sorry to hear you're having trouble receiving the one-time password by email. If you add your mobile number to your banking profile, you'll receive your code instantly without any problems. Select your Profile icon. Choose Update Profile and add your mobile phone number. We've added the extra layer of security because of the increase in phishing scams. Protecting our members is really important to us. You sent them money for something 2 years ago but the same question and answer are still in there.
