It’s really helped me to understand the distance I’m able to get with each club and what I need to build on to improve. For me it’s an excellent companion at the driving range to help me get a better understanding of what I can achieve on the golf course with each club. As a left hander it’s tricky to see the screens set up at the ranges for right handed players so I use the app on my phone and can have it in front of me to see real time data on each swing. Best thing I’ve downloaded for golf. Highly recommend! ### 5/5 — Using at ADCGC *2020-12-18* Since the club installed the In Range system, range time has become more focused with the instant feedback and ability to review practice data post session. I have been working with my coach to deloft my irons at impact (getting hands further ahead of ball at impact). The instant feedback on the screen has allowed me to rapidly adjust my hand / club positioning at impact t to achieve a lift reduction. It’s help me improve my accuracy, consistency and learn my club distances without needing to book a lesson with a pro. I normally hate going to the range and hitting aimlessly. Wally like the immediate feedback. Maybe look into getting power supply to phone holders- otherwise great facility. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Inrange login errors *2025-07-13, version 1.43.0* When trying to sign up and login it always gives a credentials error - even if you delete the app and keep trying to log in - really frustrating ### 1/5 — My Club Loading *2023-10-29* The my clubs section is stuck in an endless loading loop. Never showing the page. Everything else works, and when I login on my mates phone it also loaded. But still not loading on mine. I have an IPhone 11, nothing has been done after I reported the bug. I don’t recommend ranges to use this app/system. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2023-08-10, version 1.30.5* Worst golf app I have yet to come across, greedy ‘’Inrange+’’ for £11 which gives you rubbish mini games that are not as good as the free track man ones, it counts about 40% of your shots even if you pass all the range flags, would give 0 if I could, spare your self, don’t come here! ### 1/5 — Please make it so you can edit your club in shot data!!! *2023-05-15* I wish to be able to edit my club in shot data, sometimes when i am just on my mobile device i get in rhythm and forget to switch club on the screen when i swap club in my bag. when u are doing 4-6 shots per club to warm up it would be easier to change later in app when u are done w session. ### 1/5 — So terrible *2021-02-23, version 1.17.4* Just downloaded and try login after open account and can’t do it 😤😤😤 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2021-01-17, version 1.17.4* The app is now useless at the Greenwich driving range, the range has now been removed from the app forcing you pay for for the in bay touch screen. This is despite there still being numerous signs in the bays encouraging you to download the app. ### 1/5 — Inrange at Driving range *2020-12-16* I think it’s bad that the range at Greenwich peninsula forces you to pay for the inrange app I’m not sure if this is the same for all driving ranges using Inrange. They have removed the phone holders which makes it impossible to use your phone when at the range effectively and the face they make you pay also is not right. If it is free on the app it should be incorporated at the range otherwise where else would you use it. **Developer response:** You're not wrong there - almost all of our ranges include Inrange in the price of a bucket of balls however Greenwich management have chosen to take the Opt In approach so that you as the player can decide if you want to use the tech to help improve your game or not. And true - the app is free and you can still get all your stats...so that's a small win. But we here you....and we will pass on your feedback. ### 1/5 — No transparency over pricing *2019-05-17, version 1.0* Having just used this app at Greenwich the technology is fantastic. However this is a subscription based product with no transparency over the cost to continue after the free trial. This tactic is disgusting and whilst the concept is great you’ve lost my trust immediately. There’s no way to cancel and I fear I could now be scammed. Don’t sign up until this company sorts out its ethics ### 2/5 — Meh *2025-09-10* Comparing this to apps like TopTracer I do find certain features lacking. Why not allow users to drill down into every shot for every club given you already have the data. And data storage is cheap. Is this on the cards?
