## What is Inroll?

Your photos. Your iPhone. That's it.

Inroll is a private photo library that lives outside Apple Photos. Photos and videos you add are encrypted on your iPhone and never uploaded by us. There is no account, and no server to upload them to.

MOVE OUT OF PHOTOS, SAFELY
Pick photos and videos. Inroll copies the originals, encrypts them and reads every byte back to check it. Only then can you remove the originals from Photos. Nothing is deleted automatically, and Inroll tells you plainly that removed items stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days.

FROM FILES AND OTHER APPS
Add photos and videos from Files, or a whole folder with its subfolders. Inroll reads them where they are and encrypts them on the way in, without making an unencrypted copy first. If you move them, Inroll deletes an original only after checking it still matches what Inroll stored. From any other app, use the Share button: Inroll encrypts what you share right away, even while it's locked, and adds it to your library the next time you open it.

FEELS LIKE PHOTOS
Scroll a familiar grid, zoom into full-resolution photos, play videos and Live Photos, make albums, mark favorites, and search by name, year or album. Search runs on your iPhone.

ORIGINALS STAY ORIGINAL
HEIC, JPEG, PNG, RAW, Live Photos, HDR and ProRes videos are kept exactly as they are, never re-encoded or compressed. Edits made in Photos come along with the unedited original.

PROTECTED BY DESIGN
• Every photo and video is encrypted with its own key (AES-256-GCM)
• Unlock with Face ID, or with an Inroll passcode that's separate from your iPhone passcode
• Keys are protected by the iOS Keychain and never leave your iPhone
• iOS Data Protection seals the files whenever your iPhone is locked
• Locks the moment you leave the app and hides in the App Switcher
• Hides its content while your screen is recorded or mirrored

BACKUPS THAT BELONG TO YOU
Inroll isn't part of iCloud Backup. Instead, make an encrypted backup as a single file and save it wherever you choose: on your iPhone, an external drive, a Mac, a network drive or a cloud folder in Files. Restore it on a new iPhone with your recovery key.

FREE FOR YOUR FIRST 100
Inroll is free for up to 100 photos and videos. Inroll Unlimited, a one-time purchase with no subscription, lets you add as many as you like. Viewing, exporting, backups and restoring are always free.

NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. NO TRACKERS. NO SERVERS.
We can't see, access or recover your library. Your recovery key is the only way back in if you lose Face ID access or forget your passcode, so keep it somewhere safe.
