### 1/5 — Worst app ever r

*2026-01-23, version 2.19.13*

This company and apps suck…!!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Buggy time wasting trash

*2026-01-21, version 2.19.13*

The modem initialized fine without it, and it just sat there and lied to me about not having access to the Wi-Fi network when I was already using the Wi-Fi network to get 90 Mb and it never asked for the local networks entitlement so it had no hope of discovery. The modem set itself up just fine save time by skipping the app entirely.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-01-06, version 2.19.13*

You have to use the app to activate the device. To scan the QR code, the battery has to be removed. No battery = no power (even when plugged in), which results in an error message. Manually you have to put in the IMEI number and SIM number. SIM number has letters. App only pulls up the numbers as if I am dialing. Can’t switch to letters. I will allow 24 hours for after I send a note to the app for the app to be changed. No support means I am returning my purchase and go with a different company.

### 1/5 — This app is trash!!!!

*2026-01-05, version 2.19.13*

I am connected to the router but the app keeps saying I'm not connected now I am not able to access any settings on this router you guys need to do better with this trash app it sucks !!!!

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2025-12-14, version 2.19.13*

Absolute garbage app. I set up my device and changed the password at initial setup. Now I cannot access the device management on the app because the app says it is not connected. When I try to connect, it tells me to use the default password so it can sync. Of course that is no longer the password that the network is set to, so I cannot access any admin controls for my device.

### 1/5 — Horrible do not buy

*2025-12-02, version 2.19.12*

I spent hours trying to register and talking to tech and they couldn’t even figure it out. Horrible product

### 1/5 — The most buggy frustrating app

*2025-12-01, version 2.19.12*

I am a software engineer I understand how systems work. These guys have no idea how to build technology

### 1/5 — USELESS

*2025-11-21, version 2.19.12*

Do not waste your time, it is useless. You can’t use it. It’s not working.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-10-29, version 2.19.12*

This app doesn’t work. When contacting support they told me to contact t mobile. Without the app it’s not possible to change the passwords or do anything else.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-09-26, version 2.19.10*

This app doesn’t work. It claims I’m not connected to the device WiFi, but it’s the only WiFi network around. It never asks for local network permission either. Completely useless.

### 1/5 — Needs improvement

*2025-09-01, version 2.19.10*

This app continues to log out. In order to review log in is required.

### 1/5 — Less than useless. Same as the inseego website

*2025-08-28, version 2.19.10*

We have nothing but problems managing our 50 or so T-Mobile inseego routers. The website doesn’t work on mobile. You can click around no problem but when it’s time to confirm it won’t take the command. The app this is a review for doesn’t actually let you login to inseego connect so I can’t see any of my devices. Pretty horrible overall.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2025-08-27, version 2.19.10*

I would not recommend this app to my worst enemy. This app is garbage it is possibly the worst app I’ve ever installed on my phone and I’m gonna throw the router in the garbage. These developers shouldn’t even have a job.

### 1/5 — Non-functional app, no support options

*2025-08-22, version 2.19.10*

Title says it all. App doesn’t work, keeps saying my phone isn’t connected to my device when it very clearly is (and is confirmed by my device). Waste of time, totally useless

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2025-08-15, version 2.19.10*

I’ve never written an app review before. But this piece of $!?* is so bad it’s amazing. The company has a nice piece of hardware, but there’s no way to control it. The app kept bumping me out. There’s no help. I uninstalled and installed three times thinking that might work. It did not.. I was happy with the price T-Mobile gave for cellular Internet, but the equipment that they chose to use. Is completely unsatisfying.

### 1/5 — Scan the barcode each time

*2025-08-06, version 2.19.10*

This very bad each time you go to the app asking you to scan the barcode for manage your internet
It’s silly when you scan the code it says you already have registered your device

### 1/5 — Worse app

*2025-07-20, version 2.19.10*

What is wrong with this App? Tmobile needs to do better at least have an app that works. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — 100% Awful

*2025-07-18, version 2.19.10*

Refuses to connect to any device, “check you are connected”, tap “I am connected”, “looks like you’re not connected”… useless app for a mediocre product.

### 1/5 — COMPLETE GARBAGE

*2025-07-17, version 2.19.10*

This app, and the M3100 (which I’m returning) are complete garbage. It won’t let me change the WiFi password on the app, or the site. On the site, I have to change the admin password in order to hide it. It’s clear that the feckless designers didn’t consider security.

### 1/5 — Garbage App

*2025-07-15, version 2.19.10*

This app is absolutely terrible. Constant WiFi disconnects for no reason. Half the time it tells me my own password is wrong, even though I know it’s not. Then I have to reset the app, and of course, it won’t even load. Basically, every time I need my internet to work, this app screws it up. Total waste of time—avoid it if you can.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-06-02, version 2.19.15*

The app keeps crashing and when I do go back in the device is completely gone and I have to keep adding it over and over again. Do not get it and I am considering returning the MiFi Pro 4020 device. Super disappointed!

### 1/5 — Useless app and support

*2026-04-29, version 2.19.15*

I have the M000 pro. The app i was working fine up until recently. The battery state of charge box disappeared unknowingly. I deleted the app and tried to reload it. Now it doesn’t recognize my phone or the device?. Support has emailed me back essentially saying you have to login to view any of the information you’re looking for. He did try to call me once I missed a call. Then there’s absolutely no way of getting a hold of anybody in Tech Support other than via email, which he seems to only answer every two or three days. The app was pretty useful, and much more simple than having to login to the website every time you want to check something simple. Very frustrating it’s not rocket science.

### 1/5 — Can detect that my phone is connected to the WiFi

*2026-04-07, version 2.19.14*

Disappointed with this product. It’s complicate to setup and even after have it setup it doesn’t recognize the phone connected to the WiFi, then it doesn’t give access to the menu.

### 1/5 — Why even install this for hotpot with its own screen..

*2026-04-01, version 2.19.14*

Useless app, another not used app on your phone. Deleted

### 1/5 — THE WORST!!!!

*2026-03-13, version 2.19.14*

It seems like you are not connected/authenticate with the FX4100. So the device features can not be accessible.

Difficult to connect routers, difficult to connect routers, difficult to connect routers.
The absolute worst app I have ever used for an ISP router.
Inseego really needs to get it together. I don’t know why Tmobile uses this company. They should really reconsider their contract.

### 1/5 — don’t bother

*2026-03-11, version 2.19.14*

there’s literally no way to set up a mifi pro hotspot. they didn’t include a QR code with the device. when you try manual entry, the SKU fields only allows numerical values - but the SKU is alphanumeric. why even bother building this app if you’re not gonna test or maintain it?

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-03-10, version 2.19.14*

I don’t normally rate apps but this is just terrible

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2026-02-27, version 2.19.13*

This app is so old, not maintained at all. The instructions don’t make sense, and it’s impossible to use.

### 1/5 — Horrible support team; horrible app

*2026-02-12, version 2.19.13*

Do not bother using their app; it’s incredibly bad; they didn’t bother putting a label on the WiFi device so I couldn’t get the sku number; I was only able to log in through the ip address of the device, after I connected to it. This app is pointless and is nothing more than to take up space on your phone, and perhaps to spy and know what you do within your phone.

All you have to do is connect to your WiFi device, get the ip address of your device, put it into your device, and the the page will take you to the page to modify the seatings of your device.

Their support team is not any better. They never bothered contacting me - lol.

### 1/5 — No ma’am, Ham, o r Turkey.

*2026-01-27, version 2.19.13*

Absolutely terrible. Unable to use the WiFi on certain streaming apps, Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus. Also, when going into the app, it’s always offline or stating an error for the last month. PLEASE FIX ASAP.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — WiFi works perfectly

*2024-11-08*

Easy to setup and WiFi is already working fast. I’m enjoying it

### 5/5 — Excellent Improvements to this App

*2022-01-08*

Great job Digital Experience team. Keep up the great work.

When setting up a device, from the model list, I was not able to select a model and move forward in the workflow. Kindly look to make all elements interactive on each page.

### 5/5 — Great app for installing a 5G FWA device!

*2020-12-22, version 2.5.1*

App works great to measure 5G signal strength and find the best place to install a device.

### 4/5 — Hard to setup

*2021-02-23*

You have to enable the connection from the devices setup page. Then connect with the imei. Then wait about 5 minutes for it to update. Honestly the app is basic and useless for mobile hotspots.

**Developer response:** For configuring hotspots, all changes get to the device through our cloud platform, so changes may take a minute to reflect on the device. The good news is that you can manage devices from anywhere using either the app or Inseego Connect at connect.inseego.com.

### 3/5 — WiFi works perfectly for few days

*2024-11-19, version 2.17.13*

Easy to setup and WiFi is already working, but after I used 60GB data, it slows down for the rest of the month

### 3/5 — Still has a way to go

*2023-12-01, version 2.17.9*

Software gives a very different reading than the device on signal strength, and whether it’s receiving four LTE or 5G. That should not be. It should be the same. Limited feature set.

### 3/5 — Can’t see connection

*2023-10-10, version 2.17.9*

Can’t see connection with VPN, but still connected.

### 2/5 — Review App for FX3100

*2025-01-09, version 2.17.13*

It doesn’t retain the device information after installation and you have add device again and again. It doesn’t recognize the admin password from the device. It helps in initial location survey and installing but after that this is useless.

### 2/5 — Barely works

*2024-12-12, version 2.17.13*

Worked to setup device but now it doesn't register my hotspot unit. I can't make any changes etc. Netflix Hulu and a handful of others won't work without changing settings .. which I can't do. Trying to fix this but it's a pain. Bought from T-Mobile

### 2/5 — Cellular

*2024-09-30, version 2.17.13*

Great if you have good reception, unfortunately my condo does not and there for I can’t even connect my Xbox let alone get full internet. App overall is good and user friendly, set up was easy.
