Since 2021, it is allowed in the EU to add ground insects (such as crickets, grasshoppers, and mealworms) to foods as a protein source. Additionally, there are many foods with additives (such as carmine and shellac) that are derived from insects (such as cochineal). You do not want to eat insects? Sie öffnet sich aber nicht, trotz der geforderten Systemvoraussetzungen von min. 12.0...sehr schlecht. Die 4 Sterne sind ein Versehen gewesen. Was andere Apps herausfinden, welche Ware Insekten beinhaltet und diese hier dagegen die gleiche Ware beinhaltet nichts oder es ist in der Datenbank noch nicht verfügbar, obwohl es gängige Sorten sind, die es überall zu kaufen gibt. Man kann diese auch nicht einpflegen. Man könnte doch glatt denken, diese App hat Nestle selbst gemacht. **Developer response:** Es tut uns leid, dass du mit der App nicht zufrieden bist. Wir verwenden die umfangreichste Lebensmitteldatenbank die es aktuell gibt. Diese wird live abgefragt, ist also immer auf dem aktuellsten Stand. Zusätzlich verwenden wir auch eine Offline-Datenbank für alle bekannten Lebensmittel welche Spuren von Insekten enthalten. Wir haben nichts mit Nestle zu tun ;) Falls du konkrete Beispiele hast für Lebenmittel, die nicht korrekt erkannt werden, melde diese doch an support@data-works.ch und wir schauen das umgehend an.
