Insense put my acc on hold saying I didn’t have enough IG followers, although that doesn’t apply for UGC creator only. I’ve been trying to contact someone for over 3 weeks, going into a month, and no help provided yet. I really liked how much interaction with brands I was getting until this happened. I don’t usually write reviews but I love this app, It’s perfect for beginners. Although the campaigns are random but you’ll find campaigns related to your niche, If you keep searching for it! Overall it’s a decent app, I enjoy using it and I’ll recommend you guys to give it a try! 💗 ### 2/5 — Operationally Lacking *2026-05-19, version 4.6.2* The UGC collabs are great! But the app itself needs work. Today I received 14 notifications for one thing. Constant notifications for unread messages that don’t exist. Invitations are annoying, as they aren’t really invites from the brand. (or guy hehe) it’s such an amazing platform for emerging creators. I’ve made so much money in just a week and a half of using it. It’s a super legit platform with no subscription or membership required, and I love that they also have an affiliate option. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Profile status declined?… *2026-08-10, version 4.6.12* I just downloaded the app and yesterday and added all my videos from my TikTok page. I even saw they had some really good campaigns and applied to some. This morning I check and get a notification in red saying my profile was not approved bc I didn’t have 1000+ followers/views?!… ( I literally have 14.8K followers and currently at 478k profile views this week). Now I have to wait 2 weeks to ‘reapply’ which is ridiculous theres nothing wrong with my page nor is this my first time doing UGC. Insense do better. 2/10 ### 1/5 — Continuously crashes *2026-07-30, version 4.6.11* This is my first time ever leaving a low review. I’ve been on this stupid add trying to upload my 4 verification videos and it’s crashed 5 times and just sits on a loading screen forever. 10/10 WOULD not recommend this to new creators. So when an app suddenly removes your profile, then says oh sorry that wasn’t supposed to happen (after many days of not being able to apply or receive invites), and then doesn’t restore your profile properly meaning you can’t apply to opportunities unless invited…. It’s an awful experience. And that is what is happening right now. I have tried their support time multiple times to no avail. I thought Insense was great to start but this experience has removed them from my list of apps to use for UGC work. ### 1/5 — Never works for me *2026-07-15, version 4.6.8* I can never get this app to work. I can imagine they’re taking data and selling it… no option to delete your account is insane ### 1/5 — Very faulty approval system *2026-05-03, version 4.5.61* I have 40k followers and have been producing content professionally for almost a decade. I’ve created for Amazon, Nike, Chipotle, Ferrara, the list goes on and on. But I got rejected from this app bc of my engagement rate. It’s 2026 yall, even the top paid influencers don’t have a 2% engagement rate on paid promotional posts. Most of my recent content is branded so their process of approval doesn’t take specificity into account, what kind of content, what kind of engagement etc. And it’s not like these job are even based engagement - there are plenty that are UGC that don’t require posting to your page so why would engagement be a deciding factor? Sooooo dumb ### 1/5 — Took an entire month and half to get help and paid *2026-03-26, version 4.5.57* My first time doing a collaboration on this app and I got no help until a month later today I just received my payment after a month and half the brand stopped responding after getting my content reached out to support no response except Ai responses after a month I got a email response which took several back and forth conversations. Low pay on most of the campaigns as well ### 1/5 — Not for UGC creators *2026-03-26, version 4.5.57* I am so dissapointed in this app. I have been a creator for many years and worked with many different brands. This is only set up for influencers and only creators who post through their personal pages. I am truly shocked at how there’s positive reviews as this app is heavily flawed. It is not knowledgeable about the UGC space. It also took MONTHS to even try to connect my social accounts. He helped me very quickly. The problem that was taking weeks upon weeks to address, he helped me solve in five minutes! I hope people at the top of the company and give him a raise!!! He is fantastic at his job and my only thought would be to give your creators who work very hard on all their projects access to human communications (aka phone support) more regularly as it’s a much quicker way to solve any issues that arise.
