## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Laaaaaaame

*2024-08-03*

Terribly written story, very two dimensional characters, and a poor sense of English grammar. I get why this wasn’t published by choice of games. Save your money.

### 2/5 — Wanted to leave 5 stars

*2024-04-19*

The game is fun. I had multiple experiences UNTIL I started the next game, and then I had the following : either it reset to the beginning, or the font went wonky, or it couldn’t remember where it was from six hours ago. I wish I could have tried all the storylines, but I got through at least three. Just not what I thought I was paying for.

### 3/5 — Like the game! But the app…

*2024-06-26*

The app feels like a 1:1 port over from itchio which really doesn’t work as a phone app. The fact that it doesn’t automatically save and just how the save works to the achievement layout is just frustrating and not what I expected.

### 4/5 — Well-done mystery…

*2024-08-06*

…I admit, I totally botched the investigation and assumed the avenger was right about the killer. Oops. Good interactive story — multiple events took me totally off-guard. I’m going to have to see if another playthrough significantly varies events.

Back after multiple playthroughs — good choices, but find it odd that stats don’t seem to significantly affect choices. I feel like there should be more variance in options/successes if you’re playing an arrogant brat or a modest bleeding-heart. Not asking for branching storylines, just stronger successes or failures based on whether your character’s record matches their attempted actions.

Looking forward to Book 2. I hope the choices made here cause strong divergences there.

P.S. Please give a way to escape after clicking on your name, or at least automatically update the autosave. Your Tumblr is very nice, but I lost my first playthrough attempt to a misclick.

### 5/5 — Nice mystery adventure, not too long

*2024-09-22*

Interesting premise, and the mystery is reveals itself in pieces with some little twists on the way. There is potential romance with a few side characters, and the “fade to black” scenes were spicier than I thought they’d be, but not overtly crude or explicit.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2024-05-06*

Found this game on the internet, immediately downloaded after. So good, not rushed at all.

### 5/5 — Amazing.

*2024-03-14*

Couldn’t put down my phone, pulled an all nighter playing. Fun and interactive, incredibly personalized 10/10.

### 5/5 — Incredible choice game!!!

*2024-01-30*

The game has a amazing story that keeps you immersed in it. Can’t wait for book 2!!

### 5/5 — Nice “Who-Dun-It” Game!

*2023-12-08*

It kind of reminds me of “Choice of” Games and the movie “Knives out.” You have the option to play through different POVs as well which I thought was different. The writing for your own POV was good, but the butler’s POV was written a bit oddly imo. They also give you different “stats” in the game…I *don’t* know if this effects the gameplay much though as it seems like the story is pretty linear for the most part. While I like seeing different stats for my character and other people, I don’t feel like it did much (as far as I know)

Also, I didn’t expect the story to be as spicy as it is so if you’re into that… :)

Lastly, I noticed that there are several options that are clickable, but grayed out. I’m not sure why its like that or if it means anything…but it felt a bit distracting bc of all the choices, it feels like that one choice is highlighted for you.

Look forward to Book 2 :)

### 5/5 — 5 stars!

I'm having the most fun playing this game out of all the games I downloaded recently! I look forward to the release of the next game soon :)
