Inset cam turns your phone into a camera that already knows the edit.

Play a video or photo full-screen, then record yourself reacting on top of it as a live, movable cutout. No green screen needed. The app removes your background in real time so you show up as just you, placed right into the scene.

Once you're done recording, everything stays editable. Move your cutout, adjust the crop, balance your voice against the background audio, and add captions that can sit behind or in front of you for a layered, professional look.

 • Edits with background music could fail to open — they now open, and keep their music
 • Picking a colour or the back camera left you filling the frame and hiding it; you're now inset over it automatically

 New:
 • Strip captions — a full-width band with your line centred on it
 • Playback pauses when you open an editing tool, so you can work on the frame you're looking at
• Louder voice — boost up to 200%, with limiting so it doesn't clip
 • Studio sound — filters rumble, evens the level, adds presence
 • Importing a video is clearer: "Edit a video", and a rebuilt import sheet
 • "Dual camera" is now "Back camera", so it says what it does
