Second, App UI is confusing and need improvement and user friendly Third, The premium is too expensive. I wanted to try because I thought it’s cheaper. So, I went back to my broker and renew my insurance. $500 cheaper than inshur In conclusion, the concept is good making it easier to get insurance without going anywhere. However if the price is not cheaper than the brokers then at least it should be around same. Therefore, I delete the inshur quote and uninstall the app. ### 5/5 — These are people who care *2019-12-04, version 3.1.0* Today I found myself in a huge problem regarding my For Hire Insurance coverage.........I am usually not a person who writes reviews, however the team at InShur, specifically Charles, Catherine, Aman and Jan were unbelievably helpful. Not only did they listen to my issue they sincerely wanted to help me resolve a HUGE misunderstanding. I am thankful to them more then they’d ever know. You guys ROCK!!!!!!! Let’s see how long the good service is going to last! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Stay away AZ *2023-12-20* This “tlc” coverage only covers you if you’re on an UBER ride with the pax still in the car. When they get out you get state minimum with no uninsured no underinsured and there’s no company out there that will provide you personal insurance as supplemental coverage. No glad coverage no nothing. You’re basically paying for the insurance that Uber provides to x/xl/comfort drivers on a per trip basis for the month up front and then working it off. Not to mention all the posts about poor claims response this insurance is a scam based on a legal Loophole being exploited as an entire business. Saving a few dollars is not worth the financial ruin that can come to you from using this company. ### 1/5 — worst company ever *2021-06-16, version 3.15* you cancel my insurance policy for the accident that I’ve made three years ago! But by the time you have been giving me an insurance in thesethree years period. What happened and you just cancelled my insurance policy! You said that we will not renew your insurance because of accident! The purpose if insurance is to protect myself against accidents that’s why I am getting insurance right! What you want as insurance! You want to rip of your client who has to pay in time but when I have an accident you cancel the policy! This is the most stupid thing I’ve heard from this insurance ! Worst ever ! Not recommending anyone NEVER!!!! ### 1/5 — Coverage plans increase not worth it *2020-09-30, version 3.9* They no longer have premium installments but instead they want you to pay in full 5k, who in their right mind would do that, so if they go bankruptcy they will keep your money or refund some of it. Despite that it only leaves you with gold coverage for 431 per month for 15% down payment which is a lot higher than my 2019 premium which was 392. They sky rocket their prices and if you did COVID assistance for your payments which that will also be added to your plan boosting your coverage to almost 500$ per month that’s insane. Drive safely, Ella ### 1/5 — All those reviews are fake *2020-05-03, version 3.7* I was with inshur for year and poor customer service and its not worth it you are making less payment but a month extra I was with American transit paying 371 When I moved to inshur payment came down to 354 I was happy but after full year I realized I paid a month extra paid 12 dollar extra every month than American transit they trick you by showing less monthly payments ### 1/5 — The worst costumer service ever and also thief *2020-04-08, version 3.7* I had a big accident that cost my job so I couldn’t pay my car anymore and decided to canceled the insurance. I was supposed to get my refund and the total was 1051$ but they charged two extra months that was explained on a email but i still go a different refund amount because the two months total is 644 and they charged 906$. I still don’t understand why would this company steal money. ### 1/5 — Awful!! *2020-03-20, version 3.6* What an awful company! I have been with them for 2 years and tried to renew for year 3. I get one quote and wanted to shop around for a better quote. I decided to renew with inshur and 5 days later, my quote changed completely and no longer gave me the option to pay in installments. I called up to see why this was and they told me it was an engineering error and that I should never have received my initial quote. And my only option was to pay the entire premium in full, which was about $4,400. Disgusting customer service and I will never use them again. UPDATE: Ella reached out stating that I should email her to discuss the issue I was having. I reached out over 3 weeks ago and still have not heard back from her. This just shows how bad of a company this is. DO NOT USE THEM! ### 1/5 — Fraudulent *2019-03-07, version 3.0.6* Was waiting for my payments from uber and lyft to pay inshur when I found 50 dollarasmore for being 2 days late.... add to this, that my two months security were supposd to be on november so I didn’t pay anything then all of a sudden I received a mail from dmv about the insurance.. i called the company to see what’s wrong and they told me that the security months were delayed till September!!! And they charged me extra money for being late again!! I’ll definitely find another company to get rid of these scammers ### 1/5 — Easy and convenience *2019-03-05, version 3.0.6* First of all, I, personally, would like to say "thanks to Armanbir for his extra-step customer service.” His callback to my question is not something special but it must be very special in terms of how other tlc insurance brokers treat their customers. My many experiences with other tlc insurance brokers was not that happy. I waited and waited for quotes and answers for my questions but most of them did not give any answers back in time matters!!! I thank you again for the customer service to treat the drivers in kind way!!! Second of all, this is the great and new way to buy tlc insurance. If you drive a personal car and buy personal car insurance withr geico or other online automobile insurance, most of personal automotive insurance companies such as geico, allstate, etc make it much easier. It does not bother customers to come to office and bring documents. Also no parking either. This app and insurance company and broker make it in just a few minutes to get tlc insurance. I personally like the geico insurance for my personal insurance for the quick getting quote and customer service. This tlc insurance is as much as quick and easy to get it in a few minutes! Finally! It accepts credit card payment! If tlc drivers have a good insurance quote from here, why dont you use this driver-friendly app based tlc insurance. Check google map you will find out who really they are. Reason for 0 star 1.they charge you 50 dollars for late payment. 2.they cancel your policy if you missed 1 payment.(ones your policy cancelled mean you have to surrender plate and registration) 3.they will never active your policy ones cancelled. 4.they never pick-up the phone.(or contact you back even if you leave your information by voice message) 5. They will give you expensive policy.(I recently checked my policy with other person broker) 6.lots of 0star complain I have. I recommend go to In-person brokers, app may save your time but can’t save your future. It’s better to get policy by face to face talk. They cancel my policy now I have very hard time to get TLC plate again. I strongly recommend STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKER. They said the other accident was 50 50 which is totally lie. I would recommend if you ever have a fault accident try finding another insurance before it gets too late.
