Bad sub discounts. *2014-10-01* Better than other UK crochet mags - the patterns are modern, well designed and will appeal to crocheters of all abilities. Editorial is well written and relevant to the title in a punchy, chatty style. The layout is such that you get the mag at the front then all the patterns towards the rear of the magazine - no more flicking thro hundreds of pages to find the second half of a pattern, which is a great decision. Only downer is the discount rates for subscriptions - as mentioned in other reviews. It's pants. The minuscule discount is the same for print or digital and, honestly, hardly worth it. No other incentive to subscribe either - no free gift. IMHO this irks a little bit but it's still worth buying the mag because it's the best on the UK market. If you like it also consider trying Interweave Crochet, its a US title with the most fab patterns for intermediate to advanced crocheters. ### 5/5 — The best uk crochet mag! *2014-07-18* Consistently has patterns I'm itching to get started on! Beautifully crafted visually. The app is rubbish, basically just allows page turning. you can bookmark a page, but there is no list of bookmarks…you literally have to go into each magazine you have and look to see if there is a bookmark. You cannot export to pdf or print any pages…so you can only follow a pattern only using your tablet. Absolutely shocking. I liked what I saw, so I tried to register so that I could subscribe. Put in my email and password and was left "logging in" for 15 minutes. I should note, I recently tried using another Pocketmag app and had a similar problem. The patterns are very modern with a great deal more diversity than other crochet magazines.
