### 1/5 — Charged me and then lost my account

I followed the YouTube channel and was excited to learn on the app. I bought the $5 course and as soon as the charge went through I no longer had access to the app. Tried everything to get back in. Customer service was helpful but never fixed the issue. Eventually they said it was an issue with Apple. I still can’t login to the course or even purchase it again. Bummer.

**Developer response:** Sorry again that you ran into this issue, Joe. After checking the purchase details you sent through, it looked like the original purchase was linked to a different Apple login/account, which unfortunately we’re unable to manually restore or change from our side, as App Store purchases are managed directly through Apple.

We did try troubleshooting the issue with you over email and recommended contacting Apple Support, who handle purchase restoration and account access issues.

This is the best $5 I have spent in a very long time.  What seems like a basic video player from the outside proves to hold so much useful information that I would pay much more if it were packaged as an online course.  The psychology portion of the app which deals with working with difficult directors and producers up to what they are looking for in a finished product as well as ways to create an effective working relationship within a creative team involves many techniques I use as a nurse to make people feel better. This app is gold and I only hope they make more.  I’m hooked.  Great job!!

This course isn’t about technical aspects or workflows that are all over the internet and books. It’s about creative editing. If you want to learn the craft of creative editing, this course is for you. It’s specifically aimed at non-scripted, but it’s also a great foundation for scripted and a path well travelled by many film editors.

If you’re an editor, this app has some really useful lessons. Easy to use and actually helps you improve. Worth checking out!
