The image quality is fine. But you can’t use it as a security alert without paying a subscription. Crazy that after paying loads of money for the camera, it doesn’t use native apple push notifications of a movement without paying Phillips £79 a year. You should be able to just get a push alert and the. Open app and record locally. However, I think the app user interface has room for improvement; simple things like improved full screen options for landscape iPad and using a black background to avoid illuminating the parent's bedroom all night as the iPad sits on the night stand monitoring baby. More flexible mounting options for the camera would be a bonus too, e.g. compatibility with standard camera/tripod/gorilla grip equipment... I hope feedback from 'real life use' of the equipment and app is taken into consideration by the developers and such improvement made - that would be good customer service! ;) ### 1/5 — Can not connect *2017-04-14* The camera never scans the QR code ### 2/5 — Possible ios10 problem *2016-09-17, version 2.3.13* Notifications no longer come through after updating iPhone 6 to ios10... always worked fine before the update! Same on the wife's phone, updated no longer get notifications. We use this as a baby monitor, thankfully only for video, use a traditional monitor as well. It was really handy getting the notifications!! Checked settings on phone and app all ok! Haven’t used them for a while because of covid travel restrictions. Don’t work at all now, cameras won’t connect so they are going in the bin. Asked for support, support asked me to share QR-code. This has temp/humidity sensor which if pretty accurate, good night vision , talk function . Very easy to set up 2mins and easy to add additional monitors (not the lizards!)basically all the features I could wish for and more but like others have said the notifications/alarms which worked perfectly last year became unreliable then ceased totally but I still love the app and hardware despite this failing.
