The app works 3 out of 7 days. Do better ### 2/5 — Slow and buggy *2025-01-11* Been using for a couple years now and it likes to freeze up or just not load what the solar is doing. Seems to be a solid 5-10 minute delay from what is actually being generated. The live mode only shaves it down to 3-4 minutes. Currently the app will not stay logged on go more than a day. Just started randomly on both my iPhone and iPad. On and the system won’t allow me to change the time zone. It thinks I’m in Greenwich England all the time. ### 2/5 — Promising, however it needs more support at the homeowner’s end *2024-11-22, version 3.4.4* As a newcomer to 100% off-grid integrated power systems, the app needs more links to Canadian-specific FAQ. Honestly, I want less fluff about CO2 sequestered and number of trees planted. More frequent IPS system-updates. App PLUS = Infographic is a plus. Add battery-health to app. Clone info from gateway to app. For non-tech users, add toggle between basic/advanced. ### 3/5 — Battery Voltage indicator *2024-09-07, version 3.4.4* Sure would be nice if they added your current battery voltage display on the mobile version. Can you work on this for the next update? ### 3/5 — Nice and useful app - limited info *2024-07-29, version 3.4.4* Home Screen of the app works well to monitor power flow, but it’s not obvious how battery state of charge (SOC) is reported. You have to tap on the battery icon to see SOC. There is no history or graph of SOC like there is on the computer version. ### 1/5 — Broken Solar Power Generation Graphs *2024-02-25, version 3.4.4* This program is now broken. The cloud is not returning the correct data to display solar power generation for any month or year. It correctly displays the data for any single day. It displays nothing if you select the current month or any previous month or year. This problem also exists in the browser computer interface for InsightCloud. The management needs to fix the server that is providing the data to the mobile and computer platforms. ### 1/5 — Problems with app *2024-02-17* I'm on current version. Zero stars for the app!!! Too many problems for off grid use! (1-1/2 yrs) I know I can log directly into my unit if I want real time. I get really tired of walking to the garage to physically look at the manual display because that's so much better than your app. That does me absolutely no good when I'm away from home and its critical whether I can add loads or need to remove them. A time stamp would help, but when it's 'just now' for maybe 10 minutes at a time, it leaves me blind. The goal is to reduce loss late afternoon to top off the batteries before sundown. If there was a way to see if the 12V output signal to my panel relay was on or off, that would also make life easier. Is it possible to get a manual describing exactly how reporting to your server works? Maybe just allow us to connect directly to the unit by WiFi instead of going thru your server or having to be home. Seems you threw an app out there and we're left to struggle with it every day. Even direct connect at home is a real pain. It means logging out of my Wi-Fi, then logging into the unit, then going back to WiFi. Is this the best you can do for a product that has so much capability? I've had the same problem as others getting connected to your tech dept and don't always get any answers. I got lucky during initial setup and found an independent tech for $500 who answered some simple questions that your tech dept should have easily supplied. At this point, I'm about to start researching other brands and just eat the loss on your equipment simply because of the lack of a decent app or a decent tech support. Please don't leave a fluff reply, give me something of a solution. When all software is current, there are no excuses or 'try this' ways to correct it. The ball is in your court, do you want our business or not? I hate to switch to different equipment when the basic inverter is SO good, but if something is not done, I'll eat the $5K loss and move on. ### 3/5 — Problem in the App InsightMobile *2024-01-07* Well, in the App section Analyze, Production when selecting from Solar appear 0 Wh of production. This message is wrong. Another situation is in the section of settings, GW Firmware Version shows the old version when in the insightLocal and InsightCloud the Firmware is updated with the current version. The interfaz of this application has problems. It needs a update to fix bugs and issues. Thanks ### 2/5 — History analytics app version 3.4.4 (2) *2023-10-12* Several reviews have suggested improved history analytics but in my opinion little has been done to satisfy customer requests. Many reviews listed multiple issues, perhaps baby steps will yield results. I currently show no data from July 2023 to October 2023 in History / Battery Charge for kWh. I’ve one request; change History / Battery Charge from kWh to State of Charge % (SoC%). Perhaps adding a drop-down option so customers can choose between kWh or SoC% would be beneficial. ### 2/5 — Not good for timely monitoring *2023-10-10, version 3.4.4* This should be a great idea however, I can’t get any information until six minutes later and sometimes longer. I insisted on a display with my installer, but it turns out Schneider stopped selling them, which was a big mistake. It seems to be the only way to get real time information. I was advised that I could purchase another name brand monitor. It will cost me $1000. Schneiders was apparently $600 when I got my system installed but they were suddenly no longer available. After spending $30,000 on my system I’m not very happy about this. I have tried to call and rarely get through. If I do get through, I leave a message and don’t get a call back. I feel kind of sick after spending that kind of money and not being able to monitor my system properly. What really amazes me is the lack of response to resolve the problem. I am absolutely sure that I’m not the only one ### 1/5 — Application needs improvement *2023-10-08* This application needs some changes or updates. The data shown from the PV is not correct and why if the house is consuming less that the PV is producing the battery shows that is discharging as well. It looks like a good application but is not showing correct information although I have installed version 3.4.4.(2) and firmware 1.17 ### 3/5 — App always black screen *2023-09-20, version 3.4.4* How to fix am in iphone ### 2/5 — Just not there… *2023-09-19* Little things like the graphics not fitting on my iPhone SE screen. Inability to get alerts or notifications when solar production cuts-out or the generator kicks-in. Using latest version 3.4.4 on iOS 16.5.1 on iPhone 14. Have rebooted phone and same experience. When I updated to a latest released firmware, all my historical data in this app—all the bar charts—are no longer functioning. I rolled back the firmware and performed a factory reset of my XW Pro, didn’t fix it. This appears to be a server side issue. It hasn’t been fixed in over a month which is really annoying. I’m using the XW Pro. When I updated to a latest released firmware, all my historical data in this app—all the bar charts—are no longer functioning. Selecting the battery icon tells you status is charging, but not the stage of charging ie bulk, absorption, float.
