-Love Strategy? We've got you-
Take on your foes within an isometric, grid-based battle system. Plan, position, and utilize your units wisely to unleash destruction! 35+ story missions and optional Arvada missions will test your abilities and force you to adapt to new and interesting circumstances. Insignias are designed to counterbalance each other, so there are always multiple winning strategies for each battle.

-Single Player Campaign-
Experience an epic story following a company of soldiers through unforeseen peril, witty dialogue, and growing friendship. You'll stop at nothing to protect your country and family, but your foes are many and equally persistent. Somebody has it out for you, and it will take great courage and resolve to defeat them.

-Mobile First-
Navigate the battlefield with intuitive touch controls. Insignia automatically saves your game as you play, even during battle. Never worry about losing your progress after a short play session.

-Customizable Difficulty-
Too difficult? Too easy? No problem. Customize the difficulty to your liking. Don't feel like paying real money to win? Don't worry - we don't like doing that either. Includes a Story Mode for those mostly interested in the narrative.

-New Game Plus-
A staple of the genre, but with a twist. Play through the campaign again on your terms. Perhaps you can even change the events of the story!

### 5/5 — Amazing indie SRPG with clear FFT inspiration. Ignore the graphics and give it a try!

*2026-03-16*

This is an excellent game that deserves more attention.

For $5 this is an insane deal on a game with great strategy bones. The class system is great and actually catches that FFT feel of separate character/class levels, leveling classes to unlock other classes, and being able to share active/passive skills between classes to make varied builds.

It’s clearly a first attempt indie game, but, other than the graphics, I’d say they knocked it out of the park when you take that into consideration.

10/10

EDIT after beating the man campaign:

It really is a travesty that your game didn’t get more attention.

I know the graphics probably hold people back, and the story isn’t living up to FFT or anything written professionally, but the game as a whole is just so good.

The tactical combat is somehow simple and yet meaningful. Buffs and debuffs actually matter without being required (most of the time. There were definitely a few mages that required some iron dust, insulate, or both). Positioning and mobility matter. Skills that lock people down matter.

There were so many levels (especially towards the end) where I actually had the theory craft a team for the specific situation you were throwing at me rather than just brute forcing it with better stats.

All I can say is 10/10 and if you guys every decide to start a kickstarter or anything to make another game with this engine (or even to rerelease this one with better graphics that might get you some more of the attention you deserve) I’ll be first on the list to support you.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! And yeah, we're big fans of FFT. Distinct classes with varied customization options (and that satisfying FFT progression!) was exactly what we were going for, and we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you thought about it.

### 5/5 — A Genuinely Fantastic Game

*2025-01-01*

I’m not sure why more people aren’t playing this game. It is very nearly flawless, and legitimately one of the best games I’ve ever played on a mobile device. Quite literally my only complaint is that, while none of the combat animations are too long in and of themselves, the fact that there is no way to skip them - along with the fact that you have to watch the computer’s turns - makes the battles take longer than I’d like them to. Ideally there would be a way to either speed things up or just skip to the end of the NPC’s turns. But, again, aside from that one (fairly minor) gripe, this game is truly excellent. I just hope the developers are able to make enough money to continue making games!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review and for the providing some very insightful feedback. We really appreciate it! We've got some fun things in the works for Insignia so we're always on the lookout for ways to improve the game.

### 5/5 — BUY IT

*2024-08-20*

Reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics without being a clone, battles are high quality, positioning actually matters, AI mages really will punish you for grouping up, customization system makes you think hard about what skills to learn before the next battle — GET THIS GAME.

(This review would be longer and more detailed, but the App Store ate my first review…)

**Developer response:** Thank you for playing and for taking the time to write a review! Sorry to hear about the first review though - we understand that this thing sometimes gets hungry and devours things. :D

### 5/5 — Amazing gameplay

*2024-03-10*

This was was really amazing the graphics reminds me on old school browsers based flash games, but the gameplay is so good you will forget a elementary school drew it lol highly recommended it’s well worth the few dollars it cost

**Developer response:** Thanks for playing, and thanks for the review! We grew up on those old browser games you mentioned and that’s part of the style we were going for. Nice catch!

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2023-07-31*

Thank you for continuing to update this game.

**Developer response:** You are very welcome! Thank you for playing!

### 5/5 — Un excellent RPG Tactic

*2022-12-18*

### 5/5 — Great tactics game so far.

*2022-07-29*

Great game if you like final fantasy tactics. Can’t find any forums for discussion about strategy for it yet, but it must have come out recently.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! We too are big fans of FFT! As for strategies, we don't believe anybody has found anything too overpowered quite yet, but maybe you'll be the first!🤔😉

### 5/5 — Refreshing Take on the Tactics Genre

*2021-05-15*

I enjoyed this game so much that when my Android took a crap on me, I bought it on my new iPhone. Incredibly modest price for the quality put into the game. I feel like the tactical RPG genre has been missing additions for quite some time now, and while not holding an officially-licensed affiliation, Insignia: tactics is a welcome addition.

Two weeks into playing for the first time I developed a job tree chart which brought back memories of looking up GameFAQs pages in the early 2000’s. I’m hoping this takes off and we can see what kind of innovation these developers can come up with while having more financial backing!

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for leaving a review! We too remember the halcyon days of looking up stuff on GameFAQs - much respect for figuring out the class tree. 🙂

### 5/5 — Great game, bad graphics

*2021-03-28*

If you love Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy Tactics, you will love this game. The core gameplay is spot on turn-based, multi-role tactical gameplay and delivers exactly what you’d expect from such a game. No need to improve on perfection, right?

Even the story is fun, not the usual paint-by-numbers affairs you get from so many mobile RPGs.

However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the one blemish on what is otherwise a pristine gaming experience: the graphics. In a word, they’re terrible. Like a 6-year-old drew them.

So, why 5 stars then? Because the gameplay is strong enough that it’s worth looking past the ugly graphics. It really is that good. Having said that, I can only imagine how much more awesome this game would be if the developer hired a professional artist and redid the visuals. Seriously, it’d be worth it as I’m sure with a sharp UI you’d attract a much larger audience - not just tactics nerds like me.

If you guys decide to update the look of your game, do a Kickstarter to fund it. I’ll contribute for sure!

**Developer response:** Thank you for writing a review! Your compliments and critiques are important to us, and we appreciate the feedback. We will continue to explore ways to make Insignia even better!
