It often glitches and we see the same posts several times. Also, something weird happens to the pictures and it downgraded the quality to looking like something from a 2006 camera phone. ### 1/5 — Crashes, everytime *2020-09-11, version 2.12.3* Required to use this for after school care, but it has never worked. We were previously using another app and quite honestly, InSiteConnect is HORRIBLE from a user interface perspective. It’s difficult and non-intuitive to read the jumbled mess when I’m trying to check in on my childrens’ day. So visually unappealing. Some recommendations: organize the day in chronological order, separate children, add a communication tool for parent and teachers to directly message, post check in and check out times, use simple color coding and/or icons to differentiate different categories of events in order to make easier to read (ex. meals have a red food icon, naps a great bed icon). Lots of ways this app can be improved. ### 1/5 — Bad bad bad *2018-03-07, version 2.6.6* This app is TERRIBLE from a parent perspective. The organization of information is so bad that I consider it to be far inferior even to paper daily sheets for quality of communication. Its only redeeming features are inherent to any daycare app (I assume): I can theoretically check in on my kids day (if I have time to try to decipher and digest the jumble of notes) and pictures can be posted. ### 1/5 — Crushed right after trying to save a photo in daily insight. *2017-10-05, version 2.6.1* Please fix it. The app wouldn’t pull my bank info. So I deleted and redownloaded and now none of my PWs work when I’m 100% sure they’re correct. But there’s not even a reset PW button so I’m kicked out. There’s nowhere to ask for help. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE *2025-01-15, version 2.19.0* Downloaded, signed in and screen just keeps “loading”. I can’t do anything on it. Absolutely terrible!!!! I find the app continuously logs me out requiring I log back in. There is no support for Face ID. Further the app does not support 1Password or other managers, so when I use 1Password it does not show any logins as being applicable, requiring a search every time. ### 1/5 — A lot of room to improve *2023-03-17, version 2.14.4* - Push Notifications system doesn’t work - The interface is really poor - You can’t customize with a picture profile despite the button seems to be editable - the history goes from bottom to top, which is confusing, since most of apps the history rolls from top to bottom. Would be better see history like a page that old events are in the superior lines not in the bottom. - Icon pictures at “insite photos” tab are distorted. - it would be AMAZING to have a chat tab to communicate with teachers/school. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2022-02-02, version 2.14.0* I hope you enjoy force quitting this app twice every day for it to figure out you are at school - and I hope you enjoy using this lamest, weirdest drop down menu to say that your kids don’t have symptoms. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Now working great with iOS 11!!!! *2017-10-05, version 2.6.1* A big THANK YOU to the developers for actually listening to feedback from users! Not sure if I had anything to do with it (my prior review was hopefully helpful but also harsh - sorry) but all of my prior issues with the iOS 11 upgrade have been resolved. I’m back to saying this has to be the most user-friendly daycare app out there. As a busy parent it allows me to pay easily and on time, but most importantly keeps me updated about my children throughout the day. It’s simple, it’s reliable (again), allows me to stay informed and that’s all I need. The ideal would be to allow touch login.
