A week ago it stopped recording the weight. The screen doesn't change the part where you weight is recorded. I always have Bluetooth enabled and I have been using the app for several years without a problem until a week ago. It says I’m overweight on one, underweight on another, ideal fat on one, underfat, and overfat. I don’t believe it can actually make those calculations. ### 3/5 — Useful data misleading and rude advice *2025-09-12, version 1.4.6* The basic data is useful but the advice is dreadful. It’s in appalling English to begin with so some of it makes no sense. Then you have one tab saying to cut down on fats because it thinks I’m overweight (partly due to incorrect BMI divisions) and another telling me to eat more sugar which can be found in cereals! Says I’m dangerously overweight which is ridiculous, then categorises me as normal muscular body type. My advice is to use the data to track changes/progress but ignore the dreadful recommendations and find decent information online or ask your healthcare professional. ### 2/5 — Weight logging in app stopped working *2025-08-30* The scales themselves are fine. But even though the app will measure the weight (and matches the scale), it no longer saves that data into the app. Renders the app completely useless as you also cannot manually enter data (because it doesn’t save that either). Prior to this I’d have rated the app a solid 4 stars, now it’s pretty much a 0/10. Like others have said, it logs my weight on the phone but freezes and doesn’t display the remaining metrics. When you try and move it along it loses your weight and that isn’t even saved in your history. Tried to resolve, deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Emailed the app developer and no response. So bought a new scale from a different manufacturer. No support and lost faith in the app. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-04-08, version 1.4.4* The scales take my weight but doesn’t save it onto the app. Really frustrating! Feel a bit gutted. It had to be deleted then reinstalled to work again but I then lose the data. Can’t return the scales as these still work. Won’t even work as weighing scales . It’s a real shame because the product itself looks fine for the app means that anybody who has this access need is excluded from using the product. You need to ensure all buttons are labelled and video tutorial does not just rely on images. I’m a UK size 8 and I go to the gym 6 days a week. I could do with losing a couple of pounds, but for some strange reason this app tells me I’m fat???? I’m not fat. My body fat is normal, my BMI is normal. How is this calculated? If I’m fat so are 99.9% of the population. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love These Scales! *2025-06-18, version 1.4.6* Brilliant value for money and do everything that you need when on a weight loss journey. I had read other reviews and was a bit unsure, but had already bought the scales based on the Amazon reviews. Having read other reviews in here, I think the updates made to the ap have addressed all these concerns and I have had only a positive experience. It gives you useful tips on each section about how you can improve and I am finding it invaluable. Went into my iPhone health app and found all the data had just filled itself in on my phone. No fuss, no kefuffel if you use the app as it should be used. My only points would be, remember to save your log in details as they’re not saved automatically on your phone and the instructions could be slightly better.
