### 2/5 — Quite a handful of bugs

*2025-11-09, version 2.4.4*

Disabling JavaScript and Cache does not save after closing the application, custom search engines are not possible and occasion the console/inspect view will disappear and won’t reappear until you reinstall the application.

Seems to be no longer maintained by the developer which is a shame.

### 2/5 — Nicht mehr aktuell

*2025-05-06*

### 2/5 — Frustrating … and useless

*2024-12-31, version 2.4.4*

You can see there are javascript script errors - but not in any detail whatsover what those errors are, which completely defeats the purpose. This makes it nothing more than a useless gimmick that someone is making money from.

### 4/5 — cannot enter multi-line input from console

*2024-12-19, version 2.4.4*

It seems the console doesn’t support entering multiple lines. To enter a function, the entire content needs to be entered in a single line, which is a bit inconvenient. Hope this can be improved in later versions.

### 2/5 — Unusable on iPhone

*2024-05-20, version 2.4.3*

I don’t know what’s going on but the address bar keeps growing to 30% and sometimes 50% of the screen.

The inspector is not usable and is too small for iPhone use. The text doesn’t fit horizontally and when selecting elements it highlights the wrong thing. I tried landscape mode and it covers most of the screen with the address bar.

Force closed the app, but no change.

I think this app used to work right, not sure if it’s the latest update or what..

### 3/5 — Does not support React

*2023-08-14, version 2.3.7*

All good for simple websites but this browser cannot handle React state changes. Not useful for debugging React.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work with iPad

*2023-06-05, version 2.3.6*

I updated this app and it doesn’t working with iPad, please fix it quickly 🙏🏼🙏🏼

### 5/5 — Useless for CSS debugging

*2023-04-02, version 2.3.0*

Updating my review, this app is very good on iPad 5/5. Do not try and use it on the iPhone though, it does not work well given the limited screen space

### 5/5 — Outstanding, can’t wait for more!

*2023-02-26, version 2.3.0*

Thank you for bringing this tool to us. There’s a LOT of work that can be done on the go or on a machine like this.

I can’t wait to keep using it. Right now the only thing that I wish I could do was customize the interface more. Just random thoughts:
- Showing/hiding ANY toolbars
- Maybe a toolbar system where you could drag/drop the windows around (I do see the view switch options which are helpful)
- Option to hide the tab bar
- Small icons/UI scale

Again, I’m having so much fun in this and thank you for making a great tool.

### 3/5 — Where is javascript source?

*2022-11-19, version 2.2.0*

I have downloaded this app cause i need a development Tool that allows me to debug javascript code, but this app doesn’t do that, it has a very good design an it can Inspect HTML very well, but javascript? How i can debug a javascript code or how i can visualize the javascript part of a website? I don’t know if in future this app Will be update, but i think that for a developer the javascript part of a website or an app is important. I hope that the Owner of this app are going to fix this thing to make their app more powerful.

### 5/5 — Works now

*2022-11-06, version 2.2.0*

Uninstalled and reinstalled works now

### 5/5 — I've been looking for this type of app for so long!

*2022-11-04, version 2.2.0*

I'm a web developer, and the bane of developing on an iPad, which is my main driver, is not having access to the javascript console or any of the really useful debugging tools you get on a desktop browser. Well, thanks to this app, my life is now so much easier!! I didn't hold much Hope, but it really is an invaluable tool for anyone developing for the web. I was worried when I saw there were in app purchases, but this is just for themes, rather than functionality. This is a must have app for anyone who develops on their mobile device!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This app is more infuriating to use than not having it

*2025-11-27, version 2.4.4*

Nothing works. The inspector is useless and only works on 1/10 page loads.

### 1/5 — No se ven los estilos!!!

*2025-11-16, version 2.4.4*

### 1/5 — bad

*2025-11-10, version 2.4.4*

😩

### 1/5 — NOT WORTH THE PRICE

*2023-10-19, version 2.4.0*

It works really bad. For its price you would expect something amazing, bug free, with no issues. Well this is totally the opposite.

On iPhone its horrible. You tap one of the tools and everything moves up, you cannot see the website you are trying to edit. This happens with every website I tried. Sometimes not even the keyboard will show up for you to type.

It’s simply bad bad. They really have to fix this.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work, wasted money

*2023-06-09, version 2.3.6*

It won’t even start. Waste of £8.

### 1/5 — Nicht mehr nutzbar, kein ordentlicher Support

*2023-04-28*

### 1/5 — Update Element button is broken

*2023-02-05, version 2.3.0*

Update Element button is broken

### 1/5 — Not quite there.

*2021-06-21, version 2.0.0*

Purchased this app to debug an issue for work that only happens on a physical iPad. Safari doesn’t show elements after a recent update so it was my hope I could use this.

The tap to select does literally nothing but highlight the element. It doesn’t show where the element is in the dom, or give me any way to debug which is exactly what I needed it for. Complete waste of money. This is a work site so I can’t send it to the developers to find out what the issue is. Is there some trick to getting all elements to display?

### 1/5 — Doesn't show all the headers

*2021-05-16, version 2.0.0*

Why don't you just show all the headers. Tons were omitted, including some that I needed. lame.

### 1/5 — Não inspeciona JavaScript.

*2020-10-10*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Browser excellent like no other

*2026-07-20, version 2.4.5*

I like Inspect and use it on an iPad.

I do have a question however.
When I try to change the address bar, the alternate web addresses are obscuring what I am trying to type.

Also, how do I change the relative sizes of the website window and the Inspect window ?

Finally, could you provide a temporary text window to allow editing something before pasting it into the local copy of the web page ?
Sometimes editing in place doesn’t meet my needs

### 5/5 — Amazing for web devs!

*2025-06-11, version 2.4.4*

Just want to thank you for creating this indispensable tool. The iPad is actually useful for web dev thanks to this app. It would be great if you were allowed to use Blink as well instead of just web-kit, but that’s Apple’s fault. Anyway, amazing job on this app, I know it’s a labor of love.

### 5/5 — Perfect for development on the go!

*2025-04-18, version 2.4.4*

This is exactly what I was looking for! I tried several other apps and they all had major shortcomings. This is a full-featured set of devtools that works perfectly with my workflow. If you're curious, here's my setup: ipad air 5g, blink shell app, tailscale SSH into my desktop computer, zellij multiplexer, neovim, and a good bluetooth keyboard. I edit my code in neovim and tab over to this inspect browser app to see the changes. I love that I can see the JS console to see any errors and easily run JS to inspect my app. The only major thing this app seems to be missing is a JS debugger, but that's a lot to ask for in a mobile app. One thing I'd like to see is the option to hide the iOS status bar at the top of the screen and the toolbar on the left-hand side to get a bit more screen real estate.

### 5/5 — Copy as curl

*2025-02-15, version 2.4.4*

please add copy as curl feature:)

### 5/5 — Can’t say enough good things about this

*2024-10-09, version 2.4.4*

This has gotten me out of soooooo many jams. I really appreciate it!

Fantastic app. Makes it so much easier to know when stuff is and isn’t working!

### 5/5 — Definitely worth the price

*2024-05-08, version 2.4.3*

I was sceptical at first, since a lot of the alternative solutions for iPad out there are pretty bad, but I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised! It takes a little getting used to, compared to chrome or safari’s devtools on desktop, but it definitely does the job amazingly and obliterates all competition. Must have!

### 5/5 — worked for me

*2024-04-01*

decent depends on use case not perfect but worth a try

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing

*2023-09-22, version 2.3.7*

I've been looking for a way to debug web apps on iOS/iPadOS for at least the past 5 years with no luck. Absolutely love the Network and Storage tabs, did not expect them to work so well! The ability to see request headers, formatted responses, filter by XHR requests and also have access to IndexedDB is s godsend.

I dowever have a few observations for now:

1. All XHR requests display 0ms for the duration, seems to be a bug

2. It would be great to have the ability to clear the list of network requests, like in Chrome Dev Tools

3. It would be great to be able to see WebSocket connections, with incoming and outgoing messages.

### 5/5 — This app makes web development possible on iPad

*2023-06-09, version 2.3.6*

Wow - please don’t give up on this app. This app allows web development on iPadOS. You can easily code on the iPad with codespace, codesandbox etc, and this app is the closest desktop web inspector out there. Absolutely amazing work. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2023-06-05*

Thanks for the fix CSS inspector IOS 16.5 ! Work really fine :)

**Developer response:** Glad to hear! Thanks for the rating!
