After purchasing a small Chromebook years ago for my reports only to find out it runs on Android - I’m STILL waiting for an Android version of the app to be released! I’ll update to 5 stars when this happens! ### 3/5 — Average *2025-07-17* Been using this program for a few months now. Have experienced a lot of app crashes mid work. AI comments are not very accurate and have found that program is not as time saving as told. Every time i need to conduct a PCR I’m required to update the app. Maybe try pushing the updates out to once a month. I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, so this shouldn’t be a hardware limitation. The camera integration is also clearly broken — the first launch almost never focuses correctly, which slows down inspections significantly. I’ve confirmed with other agencies that they’re experiencing the same issues. Please prioritise performance optimisation and camera fixes. The tool generates blurry large thumbnails for images without metadata which is useless for assessment of property condition, negotiation with tenants or use with court (not digital evidence) Tool also doesn’t provider agents the ability to do comparisons with rental providers or ensure 3/6 month reports are correctly covering the same areas and features of the property as pervious reports. Need this company to resolve this major issues with this tool as it’s not fit for purpose in generating accurate and usable data in Victoria. Note to developers In response to your note I develop enterprise scale solutions myself and have spent months investigating this so not useful for you to offer unverified claims of what the product should do plus by making statements like that your liable for costs when the evidence is not fit for use in tenant negotiations. You can contact the different team ask for Tony or Teresa and work with them to resolve the non compliance gaps. We saw the direct consequence of the side by side supposed capability 2 weeks ago and the inspection team were neither able to capture actual detail of new damage or use the side by side to identify equipment remove by tenants that the side by side is specifically designed to address. I agree these are promises of your service but they need to be delivered and that failure is costing us right now. Could this be due to competency issues with the team, I doubt it but I’m happy to help you resolve your gaps and am working on a professional review for my industry blog, if you can solve those issues I’ll make note once you do. In the interim until we see the functionality start working I stand by the concerns I have with your technology and my blog will show examples. **Developer response:** Hi Paul, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with an inspection report generated through our software. Our photos and subsequent reports have been relied upon by thousands of property managers and owners across Australia and New Zealand to ensure they can accurately represent the condition of and ultimately protect their managed properties. Our software does actually offer side by side comparison of photos and items on reports and this is something that we are proud to say we pioneered in the industry. Over the years, agencies have depended on our reports when going to VCAT for disputes and they have been proven hundreds of times to exceed the standards expected by the members as proof of condition. We take all feedback seriously and would love to help, however being that this is feedback on particular reports, it would be best if you raise these concerns directly with the agency that manages your property as they are the ones that populate and produce these reports. Inspection Express Team ### 1/5 — Really needs an upload photo option *2021-05-25, version 21.7* Can’t upload photos. So if tenant has gone through a house and taken photos before moving furniture in and then tries to do condition report and upload pictures you cant. You have to take a photo when doing the report. Needs an upload feature. ### 2/5 — New AI features need improvement *2026-07-29* I've been using the new AI photo auto-categorisation feature during property inspections and wanted to share some feedback. The close-up photo categorisation is excellent. It correctly identifies many items and has the potential to save a lot of time, particularly for new users learning the app. However, I'm finding the room/component categorisation can be inaccurate when a photo contains multiple items. For example: A photo intended to document a wall may also include part of a window or the edge of a mirror. The AI detects the window or mirror and automatically files the image under Windows or Mirrors instead of Walls. During inspections, it's common for photos to include surrounding features, so this happens quite frequently. As an experienced user, I now spend more time moving photos back into the correct sections than I did before the AI feature was introduced. In its current form, the feature is reducing productivity rather than improving it. Some suggestions that may help: Prioritise the dominant subject or the centre of the image rather than any detected object. Allow users to choose the categorisation method (e.g. "Primary object" vs "All detected objects"). Learn from manual corrections so the AI improves over time. Provide an option to disable auto-categorisation while still using AI to suggest categories. Display the AI's suggested category but wait for confirmation before automatically moving the photo. I think the feature has great potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing it improve. ### 2/5 — Hard to navigate *2025-09-18, version 25.29* I personally find it difficult to navigate, the easy part is taking the 360 photos but I don’t like the rest of it. Maybe over time I might find it easier.
