## What is Inspectir?

Your apps are snitching. In one minute Inspectir shows you who they report to, and lets you cut any of them off with one tap.

WHO’S SPYING ON YOU?
Turn protection on and watch it happen live: a food app reporting to an ad network, a game phoning an attribution company, a shopping app telling Meta what you looked at. Inspectir is a live X-ray of your iPhone’s traffic. It names the company behind every connection, sorts companies into the ones tracking you, the apps you actually use, and the plumbing that keeps things working, and gives you a firewall switch for each of them.

WHAT THE X-RAY SHOWS
• Every connection, live. Who your phone talked to, how often, and when, including while it sat locked in your pocket overnight.
• The company, not the domain. 5,000+ companies on record, each traced to its owner, so an innocent-looking hostname shows up as the ad network it belongs to.
• What they do. Advertising, analytics, attribution, fingerprinting, data brokerage, or the delivery and sign-in services an app genuinely needs.
• Exposures. Traffic sent in plain text that anyone on the same Wi-Fi could read, broken ciphers still on offer, key exchanges without the quantum-safe protection iOS itself now offers, site names sent in the open.

WHAT THE FIREWALL DOES
• Restrict a company. One switch blocks every name it owns, across every app on the phone. Meta is six names. Google is hundreds. You block the company, not a domain.
• Encrypt your DNS. Choose Cloudflare, Quad9, AdGuard DNS, Cloudflare Family, Mullvad, or your own DNS-over-HTTPS server, so the network you are on cannot read which sites you ask for. Works together with protection.
• Check any site before you trust it. Type an address and Inspectir opens it on your phone and reports which companies were told about your visit and whether everything was encrypted. No permission needed.
• The night shift report. Optional notifications when apps kept talking while the phone was locked.

WHY PEOPLE TRUST IT
• Nothing of yours leaves your phone. Inspectir uses the VPN framework built into iOS to look at traffic on the device itself. There is no Inspectir server, no account, and no copy of your traffic anywhere. Apple’s privacy label: Data Not Collected.
• One permission, explained first. iOS asks once to add the VPN configuration. We tell you what that dialog means before it appears. Say no, and the company catalogue and the site check still work.
• Every claim checkable. The catalogue names its sources and their licences on the Data sources screen. Entries we verified ourselves are marked; entries from public tracker lists say so.
• A Swiss company. Cyberr GmbH, Switzerland. No ads inside the app.

A VPN HIDES YOU FROM THE WI-FI. NOT FROM YOUR APPS.
A VPN encrypts the road and hides your IP address. It does not change who your apps report to: the tracker rides inside the app and gets your data through any tunnel. Inspectir names it and lets you cut it off. Different job, and honest about it: Inspectir does not hide your IP address.

HOW IT WORKS
Inspectir runs a local network extension on your iPhone. Your apps’ connections pass through it on the device, which records where they went, how they were secured, and how much was sent. Encrypted content stays encrypted: Inspectir sees the handshake and the sizes, never what was inside. Blocking happens on the phone too. Turn protection off at any time from the main screen.

Tracker blocker, app firewall, network monitor, privacy report, encrypted DNS: one app, on your phone, in ten minutes.

### 5/5 — True firewall

*2026-10-16*

I was able to cut off internet access for TikTok and Facebook apps while keeping them installed. The real-time dashboard showed TT trying to reach external servers 80 times in 10 minutes and this app blocked every single attempt

### 5/5 — A massive win for online privacy and network control

*2026-10-15*

Inspector is great, I recommend it to everyone! It's really very practical

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2026-10-11*

No fuss, just opens up and start protection. Did the job perfectly without any annoying setup steps or complicated menus.

### 5/5 — The best tool !!!

*2026-10-06*

The split tunneling and rule-based proxy options are elite. I can easily bypass local firewalls using protocols while keeping my local traffic untouched. No battery drain at all

### 5/5 — the ultimate tool for dns and traffic routing

*2026-10-05*

If you want full control over your ios network traffic, this is it. I love how easily I can set up custom Encrypted DNS (DoH/DoT). The rule-based routing is flawless, I can split-tunnel my traffic so only specific apps go through the proxy while local apps stay direct. It completely transforms how ios handles networking

### 4/5 — Solid tool

*2026-10-03*

Was skeptical about the MITM stuff at first because I don't want some random app stealing my passwords. But checked the logs and Inspectir runs entirely on a local loopback VPN. No external servers involved, no data leaks. It just decrypts, shows you the stream, and encrypts it back

### 5/5 — Cool

*2026-10-01*

I wanted something to protect my digital footprint but didn't want to mess with complicated network settings. This app is literally one tap. It runs silently, doesn't spam me with annoying notifications, and gives me a quick summary of blocked threats at the end of the week. Highly recommend for anyone who wants privacy without the headache

### 5/5 — Amazing app for developers and network geeks

*2026-09-29*

I use this daily for traffic inspection and testing backend APIs. The packet capture tool logs requests clearly, and the ability to test proxy server speeds with a single tap saves so much time. Checked outbound connections via an upstream hardware firewall and this app genuinely has zero analytics, no tracking, and no external logs. Everything runs within the iOS sandbox environment. The ability to test latency via true TCP handshakes (not just simple ICMP pings) helps map out the fastest node accurately. DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) queries are completely isolated, resolving locally via a custom system-wide ruleset, eliminating any chance of DNS hijacking or leaks from my ISP

### 5/5 — Dual functionality

*2026-09-29*

It doesn’t just show you where the traffic goes; its custom proxy rules allow you to instantly encrypt or reroute traffic from specific buggy apps without having to tunnel your entire phone through a slow global VPN

### 5/5 — finally caught TikTok red handed lol

*2026-09-28*

always suspected my phone was sending way too much background data even when closed. installs this app, turn on the https decryption and omg… tiktok is literally pinging home every single minute with encrypted payloads. encrypted dns blocked most of it immediately. its kinda scary but at least now i see everything
