### 3/5 — Price

*2024-11-29, version 3.2*

This apps costes money, but has nothing more than a regular app, I would recommend using Canva, it’s better and free

### 2/5 — Meh

*2024-10-22, version 3.2*

The app is not great but i had to get the payed one for studies so that i can down load files. I rlly hate when i try to split screen the app with another app e.g microsoft word and that if i do my screen with freeze then my ipad stops and restarts around 50sec. Otherwise just get the free version it is not much different that the paid one except that you can download other inspiration maps templates from the internet.

### 3/5 — Great diagrams. Poor file management.

*2023-08-07, version 3.2*

Pluses: I love using this app. It is very good for thinking analytically - without being slowed by the limitation of how many active pieces of information that the brain can deal with at any one time (6). The diagramming side of things is really intuitive to use.

Minuses: I really do not like the file management part of this app. Why does the app save locally rather than to the appiCloud folder, for maps and templates? ...I cannot start then continue a map between my phone, iPad and MacBook without first sharing to iCloud, finding inspiration folder there and saving it, then opening from iCloud by finding the folder again and selecting the file. Templates are also not shared.

This is archaic and cumbersome. Other apps do iCloud syncing transparently, and so should this. Please fix this, and while you are at it, please also add folders and an archiving option to complete organisation and document lifecycle workflow.

### 2/5 — A pale imitation of the MacOS version

*2023-01-29, version 3.2*

The basis of Inspiration goes back to the 80’s.
This developer has come nowhere remotely close to what this app WAS much less should be.

Features that were common before this company acquired this application were:

Being able to arrange items in layers. (move to back)
 Grouping and Ungrouping

Features needed: a way to create vector shapes bring in vector art The “clip art” in the galleries is also right out of the 80’s There has been no upgrade in the last year.

This app had the greatest promise of being the standard for mind mapping and they have really dropped the ball.

### 1/5 — I am disappointed

*2021-07-12, version 3.1*

VERY sad to use, and very confusing would delete it but school…. 😑

### 1/5 — when u close the app it gets rid of the map

*2021-05-06, version 3.1*

AND U CANT FIND IT AGAIN

EVER.

I HATE IT

IM DELTEING IT

### 2/5 — Bad

*2021-03-12, version 3.1*

This is bad app UwU >:(((

### 4/5 — What happened?

*2021-02-25, version 3.1*

We love this app, but what happened to being able to export the text into a MS Word doc? It allowed our students to use the outline to start creating their sentences and paragraphs from the already created text! For student who struggle with writing either creatively or physically this is super important. It would work as well to throw the text into the Notes app, but not as a picture. Can that be added please.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2020-06-20, version 3.1*

This app is brilliant at what it does. It has a deceptively simple control interface which works well on the touch sensitive screen of the I-pad. Other products use extensive menus to give the same capabilities which unfortunately includes the PC version 9 of this product. This makes it incredibly easy to use.

You can create a symbol(idea /fact) simply by tapping on the location you want to put it. The symbol presents itself as selected and shows icons to add a note, show/hide connected symbols, drag a connector out which creates a new symbol automatically. That’s all you need to create mind maps. In addition for flowcharts you can change the appearance of the symbol from a library of shapes.
Where the I-pad version falls down is that when you choose auto arrange, although the symbols are tidied up and moved, their notes are not. In very large complex diagrams this can be very annoying as there can be a vast distance between the symbol and its note; it can be many screens. The answer is not to auto arrange diagrams, but come on developers - fix this!

The app has recently changed hands so I had to buy it again to get updates - what updates.

In spite of everything the I-pad version is well worth the price and I would recommend it although the jury is out on the pc version I recently bought.

### 3/5 — I have lose so much work ...

*2020-04-05, version 3.1*

Working hard has a nursing student doing awesome diagrams with this app for my homework, but sometime when im shaping a rectangle or moving it, the app shut down and come back has it was the last time I open it. Has a result of making me lose 2+ hours of work. If the app could have and autosave or a quick save option this app would be a total five 5 stars. there is no programme who can make good looking and great diagrams like this one ;P

did the devs spend all day scrolling on ig seeing all the women theyll never be able to get?

### 1/5 — Porter plainte

*2023-11-02, version 3.2*

Mon école me bloque l’accès à la version gratuite et je suis obligé d’acheter la version payante

### 1/5 — Doesn’t save work consistently

*2023-06-12, version 3.2*

I used to use this program over a decade ago, when it helped me. I was excited to use it again in my iPad and MacBook— and purchased both. After spending more than an hour trying to find what I thought I had saved and exported, seeing my work disappear into thin air a few times— after minimizing the window, and repeatedly having to reconstruct it, I became so frustrated that I wish I could get a refund. I am very happy with MindNode.

### 1/5 — Inspiration Maps

*2023-05-08*

The app is very poor quality… You cannot type well and the maps are very bad. You are better off getting the free one because the paid one is way worse. Waste of money trust

### 1/5 — Why-

*2021-07-16, version 3.1*

This app is required by my school but quality is very poor.

It has terrible quality 🤪🤡

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for Organising Content

*2022-10-29, version 3.2*

I have many ideas floating about in my head, and it’s always great to see them unfold. This app has a great way of helping you put ideas down to paper

### 5/5 — Great

*2022-10-06, version 3.2*

People in the reviews are stupid. Good app.

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing

*2021-11-28, version 3.2*

The only thing I wish it had would be some way to group the many maps that I’ve made into folders! There are numerous different categories of maps one can make to illustrate interconnected thoughts and relationships through this app. I would recommend any student and teachers alike to utilize this as a visual learning tool to freely connect the flow of ideas associated with leaning. An absolutely fantastic app for visual learners, brainstorming, and academics.

### 5/5 — will syncing be available?

*2021-11-22, version 3.2*

Sooner or later?

### 5/5 — Pee sock

*2021-10-30, version 3.2*

Kill me lmao

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2021-10-20, version 3.2*

The backgrounds are limited.. It only lacks the ability to add backgrounds to the page from the studio or from another site..

### 5/5 — Jett

*2021-07-27, version 3.1*

The app is cool

### 5/5 — Excellent app. Needs just one good thing...

*2021-05-18, version 3.1*

I love this app. It is simple to use and has a ton of features that make this appropriate for all types of users. The one thing I wish you could do is modify your lines. The automatic lines are good for small projects but as the project the lines start to like like spaghetti. I'd love to be able to customize them. Otherwise I'm super stoked about this app.

### 5/5 — Excellent iPad Version

*2020-01-12, version 3.1*

I started using the original version of Inspiration more than 20 years ago. This new version is terrific. Highly recommended for mindmapping and organizing your thoughts.

### 4/5 — C bien

*2024-10-25, version 3.2*

C bien j”aime lappli
