WHAT'S NEW

We're improving this app every single week, and this release is one of the biggest yet — a real pass over how the whole app looks and feels, plus the stability fix everyone was waiting on. Much of it came from what players, parents and coaches told us at the front desk.

LOOK AND FEEL
• Buttons across the whole app are the right size again. The main action button was rendering much taller than everything beside it, which made every screen feel heavy and pushed content off the bottom. It now matches the fields and buttons around it.
• The sign-in screen fits on one screen with room to spare — tighter fields, a smaller heading, and a proper column instead of edge-to-edge controls.
• Creating an account is one clear button. The old "I'm a parent / coach / player" row sat on the sign-in screen and did the same thing no matter which you tapped. It's gone, and you tell us who you are inside account creation, where it actually matters.
• The home screen leads with your day instead of a wall of numbers. The long morning summary moved off the front page; the full brief is still one tap away.
• Proof Review no longer has a big empty gap between the date row and the photo counts.
• The full home dashboard is back — your day's job list, court status, member and contact counts, and the Desk / Floor / Event / Close shift picker.
• The parent portal home screen is showing everything again.

FIXED
• The app could close right after opening on the newest version of iOS. That's fixed, and it was our top priority.

NEW
• Tell us which sports you come to Inspire for when you create an account — basketball, volleyball, pickleball, futsal, boxing, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, open gym and more — so the schedules and offers you see match what you actually play.
• Front desk staff can see a member's sports on their profile.

WHAT'S NEXT
We're not close to done. More speed, a cleaner schedule, and more you can do yourself without calling the desk are all in progress. If something feels off or you want something added, tell us at the front desk — that's where most of this list came from.

### 2.581 — 2026-08-14

WHAT'S NEW

FIXED
• Notifications scroll straight up and down. The list used to drift sideways on smaller phones and at larger text sizes.
• Tournament divisions show their real age limits. "Boys 10U" now says 10 & under, and rosters are checked against the cutoff as you build them.
• Court requests for tonight go through, and long requests are no longer lost.
• Evening times stay on the correct day instead of rolling forward to tomorrow.
• Members with complete profiles are no longer told to finish setting up their account.
• Creating a tournament no longer reports success when the flyer failed to upload.

BETTER
• The schedule tells you which event is running and whether game times have been posted yet.
• The front desk scan button says what it does — "Scan pass QR" — with no mention of a wristband reader the app doesn't have.
• Check-in keeps working when the gym Wi-Fi drops. Scans queue on the device and sync when you reconnect.
• Unanswered inquiries move to the top of the staff queue, labelled by how long they have waited, and leads that went quiet after one reply now resurface.
• Staff notification settings can see every alert the system sends, and background health checks leave a record instead of only buzzing a phone.

### 2.559 — 2026-08-06

CHECK-IN THAT WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
• Game-day check-in now keeps a local copy of the roster, so a scan still identifies the player by name when the gym Wi-Fi drops. Scans queue and sync when you reconnect.
• If someone is blocked at the door, you can now see exactly who — with their team and the reason — instead of just a count.
• Clearer waiver handling at the door: sign here, re-sign an expired one, or confirm identity when two players share a name.

SCOREKEEPING
• Everything fits on one screen — score, all scoring pads, undo, and Mark Final — with no scrolling, on every iPhone size.
• Games can now be set to four quarters or two halves, and the clock shows the correct period (Q1-Q4 or H1/H2, plus overtime).

IPAD
• Forms, lists, and settings now use a comfortable centered column instead of stretching edge to edge.

ACCOUNTS
• Date of birth is now collected at signup, so age-based features and eligibility work correctly from day one.

FIXES
• Text no longer clips on smaller iPhones or at larger accessibility text sizes.
• Court closures, shift handoffs, floor reports, and parking updates made while offline now reliably send when you reconnect.
• Urgent floor reports now tell you honestly whether a manager was actually reached.

Big quality-of-life update:
• Act right from your lock screen — "Pay now" and "Sign now" buttons on reminders jump you straight to the task
• Book my usual — rebook your regular court time in a couple of taps
• Your family's balance at a glance — one combined total on the home screen, club dues included
• Comment on reels — reply in threads and like comments
• Clearer messages everywhere: when something doesn't work, the app now tells you exactly what to do next
• Live scores and your kid's games, right on your home screen
• Faster and smoother throughout — plus undo for quick actions instead of "Are you sure?" pop-ups
