### 2/5 — Not what I expected

*2026-03-31, version 4.0.0*

It took years and jumping through hoops to be let down. The equipment may work but nothing like I was told and the app only seams like a tool to access your phone data. It offers the user very little if anything. You have no control without seeing a doctor and the only thing you get for info is how long and what day it was used. If something is not like you want or need you may have to wait for months to change it waiting for an appointment with a specialist. It should be controlled by the user not set up to be only a money maker by the company.

### 2/5 — Really poorly done

*2026-03-10, version 4.0.0*

Just logging in as a real hassle! I used my saved password which used to be correct, and now the app won’t let me in. So I tried to reset my password, and first it emails me a six digit code which goes to spam. After I find that and enter the code, then I get texted yet another six digit code! And of course, both of these codes, bring up the little tiny full keyboard instead of just the big keyboard with only zero through nine on it. So it’s harder for me to enter the codes correctly. And after all that, when I let my phone auto generate a strong password for me, the app will not accept it! It does meet all the criteria listed in the app, but for some reason, it’s not good enough for this app. There shouldn’t even be a need for an Uber strong password for this app! If somebody hacks into it and sees that I slept for six hours last night, are they going to use that to steal my identity? You guys should test these apps on real patients, instead of just having nitwit engineers think they know everything.

### 1/5 — Inspire sucks

*2026-01-16, version 4.0.0*

This app sucks and so does Inspire. Had to wait 2 months after surgery to heal and continue to suffer with my OSA because CPAP is useless. Finally activated on January 12th. After 3 nights of using, my sleep quality is even worse than before I started using. I see myself getting my Inspire implant removed, and discourage anyone from getting Inspire.

### 1/5 — Won’t pair

*2025-12-30, version 4.0.0*

Will not pair with remote, very frustrating

### 2/5 — Use to work

*2025-12-23, version 4.0.0*

Had to upgrade my iOS to 16. Now this app will not connect at all. My Bluetooth connects - my WiFi connects. But the app will not upload.

### 1/5 — CrApp

*2025-12-18, version 4.0.0*

App crashes a lot and does not transfer data, quite a bit of unsuccessful data uploads. Needs serious overhaul and product development support. I consider this app a complete failure. Try again

### 1/5 — Not so good

*2025-12-05, version 4.0.0*

I like the implant but the app is horrible. Now I can’t retrieve any of my info. I can’t change my hours without seeing my sleep dr. To the inspire team, come on guys it’s 2024 and you are a cutting edge tech company. You can do better! Back to not working at all. Fix your app or quit the business!

### 2/5 — More functionality

*2025-11-29, version 3.5.1*

To the developers
Why would you not put the functionality that’s in the remote control into this app?
The inspired device obviously has Bluetooth functionality so why not add this to this app so I if I forget my remote

### 2/5 — Pretty Much Useless

*2025-11-19, version 3.5.1*

Great if all you want to know is when you activated or deactivated your Inspire system. It will report how many hours you “sleep.”

Sure, there are some educational materials in the app. Information you could easily glean online.

The Bluetooth connection can be finicky.

For those hoping this app will inform you of you AHI or other useful information…dream on. Ain’t gonna happen. You are better off with a smart watch, ring or other device.

### 1/5 — Two Years On This App

*2025-11-11, version 3.5.1*

Used this app since I received the device. Keeps getting worse and worse. I quit.

### 1/5 — App Issue

*2025-11-07, version 3.5.1*

This app needs a lot of work. Why is the app not giving me any information on my sleep apnea. I was all excited about the implant that I received September 23, 2025. The app doesn’t give you any information except you slept for so many hours. I called tech support and I was told my doctor has the detailed information. Meaning I have to wait until I see the doctor to inform me of how I doing with the implant. This is very inconvenient. Hopefully the app developers will give access to the metrics to the patients through the app.

### 1/5 — Very poor app

*2025-10-22, version 3.5.1*

It’s remarkable in this day and age that an app this bad is associated with what Inspire considers breakthrough treatment for sleep apnea. It’s an ad platform to promote the device, but does nothing to help understand whether the device works. Pointless.

### 2/5 — Worse by the update

*2025-09-23, version 3.5.1*

Getting worse and worse by the update. Don’t the developers actually give a trail run first. Additionally, wouldn’t you think they would ask what works or what needs improvement before changes are made before changes are made. Why make changes simply to make a change then see if the changes affect the remaining system in a negative way.

### 1/5 — This app is awful

*2025-09-17, version 3.4.2*

One star for a $30,000 implant this app needs a major overhaul when I try to upload data from the remote it says data unavailable please update this app immediately thank you for your attention to this issue

### 1/5 — Why is this app so bad?

*2025-08-20, version 3.4.2*

In one year and a half since activation, pairing is nearly impossible and uploading data is impossible. Tech help friendly , but not effective.

### 1/5 — Uninspired

*2025-06-29, version 3.4.2*

Unlike a cpap machine, this device doesn’t collect or provide very much data, unfortunately. All you’ll get here is tracking for the times you start, stop or pause the device and that’s it. Pretty disappointed.

### 1/5 — Unhappy customer

*2025-06-18, version 3.4.2*

It has never worked for me!And I stopped using it.When Drs can’t figure out what is going on they stop calling and scheduling appointments.Very, very disappointing I could never give Inspire a good recommendation I wish I would’ve never done it.

### 1/5 — Uninspired

*2025-04-22, version 3.4.2*

Downloading nightly progress is not consistent. Hourly reporting for sleep is not accurate. Seems like a pointless app.

### 1/5 — Dumb

*2025-03-27, version 3.4.2*

This app is worthless

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t create an account

*2026-04-18, version 4.0.0*

Tried sooooo many times to create an account. It never sends me an a verification email so I can’t even create an account, let alone use it. I did everything that was suggested on Google to no avail. Sent an email about it and no response as of yet. My device gets turned on in a few days so I’m not sure what to do.

### 1/5 — Confused and stupid

*2026-04-15, version 4.0.0*

The app continually gets hung up on an incomplete profile, information that is not required to function. In addition, the app does not not update when the timeout expires but rather seems to require the user to explicitly disable the implant. Even when the timeout has turned the implant off. Silly.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-03-30, version 4.0.0*

The app won’t upload my remote data at all. Tried deleting and reinstalling several times. Nothing. Horrid considering my ibs paid over $90k for the device and surgery. Glad there isn’t a compliance factor tied to it because despite my using. It nightly my app says I have not used it at all. The Developers need to fix this since so many people rely on the data. If Fitbit can do it why can’t you?

### 1/5 — No metrics

*2026-03-06, version 4.0.0*

App doesn’t show any details of its use during sleep except how long it was active.
It should show the metrics and also share data with Apple Health.

### 1/5 — Ridiculously terrible

*2026-03-04, version 4.0.0*

Inspire cost my insurance company $192,000. It’s astounding that such an expensive device could have such a ridiculous app. Do better!!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-02-25, version 4.0.0*

It won’t upload any of my data. I’ve been trying for a week and it just acts like it’s uploading my data but then it doesn’t. What’s the point of the app? I like to see how I’m doing but this app is basically a brick that gives me zero information pertaining to my sleep. You would think with the millions of dollars they are making from implanting the device they could spend a few bucks to actually make an app that works.

### 1/5 — No connectivity and misleading data

*2026-02-25, version 4.0.0*

The app and my remote lose connectivity frequently. Also the data reports a sleep hours but that’s misleading. It’s just reporting how long the device is on. Not actual time asleep.

### 1/5 — Horrible App Decent Device

*2026-02-20, version 4.0.0*

Obviously the 1983 attempt at an app was an afterthought, so the CEO hired his brother who lives in their parents’ basement who said “I can code that”- YOU’RE HIRED! Hopefully my drs get my settings figured out (YOU WILL HAVE A FOREVER SCAR UNDER YOUR CHIN!!), but this app gives no ‘interesting’ data or insight into the quality of your sleep. Oh, and you have to repair/reset/reinstall every 2-3 months.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t do anything except collect your personal data

*2026-02-05, version 4.0.0*

This app is pretty useless, would be more convenient as a website. It doesn’t even allow you to adjust your inspire settings, just collects your data

### 1/5 — Achievement goals

*2026-01-18, version 4.0.0*

The app's achievement goals are flawed. They reset weekly, even though I have been using the Inspire device for months.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Satisfied customer

*2025-10-23, version 3.5.1*

Effective and convenient. Thanks Inspire.

### 5/5 — Works well 2 years in.

*2025-02-27, version 3.4.0*

I’ve had no problems in almost 2 years of use with the remote pairing with my iPhone 13. The company must’ve sped up the download because it usually happens in seconds now. Data shows how many hours the device worked ea nite and when exactly it was on/off/paused. Inspire has been waaaay better than CPAP for me. And my wife says I’m way quieter so she’s sleeping better too. The tongue thing can be a bit weird but a lot less so than a mask and a hose and not being able to sleep an any position you want.

### 5/5 — Finally sleep

*2024-09-30, version 3.4.0*

I’m finally sleeping through the night. I’m not tired all day. This technology is a blessing for those of us who don’t tolerate masks. Thank you Inspire!

### 5/5 — Life saving/Life changing

*2022-12-06*

At 49 years old and feeling as bad as I did, I truly felt I was beyond the pinnacle of my life and could only get worse from here on. I never realized how bad my chest pain was every single day. I was put on increasing doses of medication to make it through the day, and more mediation to turn off at night. Within couple of weeks following the implant, my chest pain’s are completely gone and I’m off all my mediation except one first thing in the morning. I’m usually up wide awake and ready to start my day at least by 4am. Not once have I even thought about or felt like napping during the day. My son turned 12 years old this past Saturday and all we have been doing is playing football and basketball, together again. I would never have believed in a million years that Inspire could give me my life back to be able to enjoy and love my sons life every single day. It’s simply the most amazing thing that I’ve ever done. Thank you Inspire for truly helping me not give up,

### 4/5 — The Elevator needs help

*2021-10-22*

I didn’t know anything about the “Inspire App” until I was already scheduled for the device to be implanted. Your app may be great, I don’t know. What I do know is you make assumptions in your questions.

Why not include questions for people who already have a doctor, who are already scheduled for the surgery, etc?

Think outside the box people!

### 3/5 — Inspire Data

*2024-12-22, version 3.4.0*

Needs to show actual apneas during sleep.

### 3/5 — Downloads not reliable

*2024-09-29, version 3.3.1*

Very difficult to download and update your sleep hours.

### 3/5 — Room for improvement

*2024-09-28, version 3.3.1*

The app needs the ability to adjust your scheduled “sleep” hours. I work a rotating shift (DuPont schedule) so there are days like today where I napped prior to going on nights, but will not be back in bed until 4am. This will record me as not using the device at all on “Friday night”, which is technically incorrect.

### 3/5 — Can’t log in

*2024-04-20*

Logged out for inactive use? Tried to get password reset and that doesn’t work. Frustrating. Each day when you try to download your sleep activity it says it didn’t work and to retry. Every time.

### 3/5 — Not much of an app

*2024-04-12*

This app is more of an advertisement for the inspire device. The sleep tracker doesn’t track sleep at all, it just tracks when the device is on.
As far as the reviews, these are supposed to be reviews for this app, not the inspire device.
