InSpiritInTruth is a real-life devotional app for imperfect journeys. Whether you're navigating faith outside traditional church walls, struggling to stay consistent, or simply looking for a quiet moment of truth in a busy day, it meets you right where you are. The Bible we all share, and curated devotionals anyone can read. But your faith is your own, and no two walks look the same. So tell InSpiritInTruth what you're actually going through, what you're battling, what you're carrying, what you're curious about and it writes a devotional for that. One written for where you are, right now. WHAT'S INSIDE - Tailored devotionals written from what you share, rooted first in Scripture - A beautiful Bible reader with four translations, built for long, quiet reading - Curated devotionals to read at your own pace, browsable by theme - A verse and a quote each day, and themes to explore when you need them: faith, prayer, trials, growth, character, relationships, work, gratitude - Notes, bookmarks, and a library of everything you have saved - Download the Bible to your phone and read it with no signal at all - A gentle streak to help you stay consistent, without the guilt - A calm, quiet reading experience designed for focus HOW OUR DEVOTIONS ARE MADE Curated devotionals are written and edited by hand before they are published. Tailored devotionals are AI-assisted: they follow a careful template, and every verse in one is fetched from the actual text of Scripture rather than quoted from a machine. Both pass an automated scripture and fact check, including the authenticity and attribution of any quote. Every devotional tells you how it was made, and asks you to test it against Scripture yourself, as the Bereans did. Where something slips through, we trust our community to tell us so we keep getting better. WHAT IT COSTS InSpiritInTruth is free at its core. The full Bible, curated devotionals, the daily verse and quote, notes, bookmarks and streaks cost nothing at all. Everyone gets three tailored devotionals to start; Premium makes them unlimited. OUR VISION Inspired by John 4:24: "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." We believe faith can flourish beyond guilt, beyond routine, and beyond walls. InSpiritInTruth was born from a desire to meet people where they are, founded by a believer who went from churchy to more in touch with humanity, and needed an app like this himself. WRITING THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE Titles now lead with what you shared, in the words a friend who listened would use. Every devotional also carries real depth: an insight drawn from language, history or research, with the source named rather than hinted at. A devotional written in the morning no longer says "this evening" when you come back to it later in the day, and verse references are tappable wherever they appear. CREATING YOUR OWN The waiting screen now follows the real stage of the work, so it tells you what is actually happening instead of guessing. Longer devotionals finish properly instead of timing out. YOUR HOME SCREEN LEARNS Liking a devotional now does something. Your likes shape what Home offers you next, and what we write about when you ask to be surprised. FIXED - The tab bar can no longer be left hidden by a screen you have navigated away from. - Text re-flows correctly when you change your phone's text size, instead of clipping the last line. - Every devotional now carries its full set of supporting verses. - Opening quotes are traced to a primary source. Anything we cannot verify is credited honestly instead of to the wrong name. - Notifications badge the app icon, and opening the app clears it. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-08 Your first devotional now begins right after you sign up. Tell us what you're facing, or tap "surprise me" and we'll write one for you. New in this version • Forgot your password? We'll email you a six-digit code to get back in. • Home now recommends devotionals chosen for you once you've read the latest one. • Long-press any paragraph in a devotional to share it. • Sharing a devotional now sends the devotional itself, and shared links show a proper preview card. • Delete Account has moved away from Sign Out, so the two are no longer easy to confuse. • Added Rate and Send Feedback to Settings — we'd love to hear from you. Fixes • The verse menu no longer opens blank on the first tap, and its Copy, Share and Compare buttons scroll properly. • Tapping a notification opens the app faster and lands on the right screen. • Reading the Verse of the Day now counts toward your streak. • Green accents, buttons and links render in the right colour. • Text no longer stretches across the full width on iPad. • Notifications clear from your lock screen when you open the app. ### 1.0 — 2026-08-27 No release notes. ## Apps similar to InSpiritInTruth | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [WAX Hair Removal Bar](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/wax-hair-removal-bar/id1348766034) | 5.0 (30) | Free | Lifestyle | | [ConnectLIVING](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/connectliving/id1095679746) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [Go Waterfall](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/go-waterfall/id1282307656) | 2.4 (5) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Nest Seekers International](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/nest-seekers-international/id869053224) | 3.1 (14) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Balwin Access](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/balwin-access/id6746041879) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [OpenItem App Access Control](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/openitem-app-access-control/id915826670) | 4.0 (4) | Free | Lifestyle | ## More apps by Alroy Ndhlovu - [tapa.
