### 5/5 — Switched due to nighttime settings

*2022-12-07*

I switched from another app to this one because I heard that the AM-PM settings were more reliable. You can set the sensitivity of the watch to your movements as you sleep so that it ignore routine movements and picks up on unusual ones. I have not had a false alarm so far. It is important to me because I used to feel guilty for the app waking up my alerted contacts for false alarms and the Inspyre does not do that.

### 5/5 — Thank you Smart Monitor

*2022-12-07*

I have been using this app for a week, now and I love it! I like how I get notified instantly and can cater to my old, epileptic dad within seconds. The app allows me to record many things like the time media were taken, before/after meal, any activity without typing entries...just button clicking. It has only been a week, but I am sure the data will help doctors diagnose and treat better.

### 5/5 — Great customer support team

*2022-12-07, version 3.11*

I had the app on my Sansung phone for around 6-8 months and was recently upgrading to an iPhone. The customer support team was prompt and very pleasant. They guided me through the whole process and set me up within a few hours. I did go a few day without the app as I was trying to figure it out myself, though.

### 5/5 — Get the gold subscription

*2022-12-06*

I love this app, as it's easy to use with a lot of great features. My issue with it is that the pro version is a subscription rather than a one time payment. I feel that's taking advantage of chronic diseases. Even with that, it's very usable and worth having to keep you safe and keep your family updated I still highly recommend it, and it's been my choice for quite some times now.

### 5/5 — Recommended for parents and guardians

*2022-12-06*

The app is a really nice way to keep an eye on your child without having your life and routine put on hold. I used to run to my child's room at the slightest sound and would be semi-asleep at night for weeks on end in the fear that my child was seizing. I can't tell you what a help this app has been and the peace it has brought all the members of our household. I don't really need all the extras that come with the gold version, I only use the bronze version. However, if there was an extended version, that just gave you the extra access to alerting more contacts, for maybe a couple of dollars more per month, I would consider upgrading to that.

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing app!

*2022-12-06*

Absolutely amazing app once you take the time to learn what you can do with it. Sometimes looses connection with my watch, but that could also be an issue with my phone instead. Two suggestions that would make this app perfect - one, create a guest log in feature so that parents/spouse/partner can log in and view the information without being charged a fee. Also, create a real-time way for doctors to see data.

### 5/5 — So glad I found the Inspyre

*2022-12-06, version 3.11*

I started using this app after years of frustration of having 2-3 seizures a day and having people hovering over me at all times. What a difference it has made to my life. As a teenager, I need my space and its great to be able to stay in my room, go partying or simply go for a walk without stressing my parents out.

### 5/5 — Fairly decent app

*2022-12-06, version 3.11*

This is mostly a pretty good app, well-designed. The UI is fairly intuitive. It's easy to install, configure, and use. My only gripes about this app (and they are very minor) is there's no way for it to track auras and it is quite expensive! But the value it brings to my life is invaluable and I'm so glad to have found it.

### 5/5 — Buy a subscription first

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

Before you download the app, go to the smartmonitor website and purchase an Inspyre subscription. They have 3 packages (bronze, silver, gold) which offer different features. You then need to sync the phone with your watch via bluetooth and both devices need to be close together for the app to work. It's been a month using the app and it has alerted my family every time I had a seizure.

### 5/5 — Brilliant customer service

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

I was quite annoyed with the app as I expected it to work after downloading the app. I did not know that I needed to purchase a subscriptoin and that my login details would be sent to me. Almost deleted the app in frustration but thankfully I reached out to teh support team and they guided me through everything. I am a fan!

### 5/5 — Seizure info in one place

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

I love this Inspyre app! It keeps everything about my fingersticks in one super easy, convenient place. All the info is in one place for me & my Dr to see progress & room for improvement. When you see all your information in one place, your more apt to keep in track with my medication schedule. I have bought the bronze package and upgraded to silver last month.

### 5/5 — I use it for my kid

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

I downloaded this app 9 months ago and I fell in love with it. I would give it 4.8 stars. The app worked great had f could monitor my child at school, play, sleep and more. It unpairs with the phone quite often because my child wanders beyond the pairing Bluetooth area limit. I wish the app could track irrespective of how far the phone is from the watch.. but maybe we'll see that someday.

### 5/5 — Definitely useful!

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

This is a good app to use if you have grand mal seizures. For auras and focal seizures, you can use it to recond your seizures manually. However for convulsive seizures, it picks up, tracks, alerts and reports reamlessly.. It helps me keep track of my medication. Hoping that it gives an option to put on Fitbit eventually and that the prices reduce. That would be awesome!

### 5/5 — My doctor recommended it

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

This found this app when my doctor recommeded it to me. He had been treating my seizures and suggested that I sign up. Since then, the app has been an incredible help to me. I can track my seizures at any time of the day including at nights and I have more information to show my epileptologsi when I visit for my appointments.

### 5/5 — Lifesaving app!

*2022-12-05, version 3.11*

I live alone and my kids got me this app subscription when they moved away from home. My emergency contact (apart from my kids) is my neighbour and relative nearby. I had a seizure while gardening and the app instantly alerted by contacts in the area who arrived in time and took care of me. Would recommend it to those who live alone, especially the elderly.

### 5/5 — Tracking our child's seizures

*2022-12-01*

We have connected our child's apple watch to the subscription by the Inspyre app. Our daughter is 12 years old and has frequent seizures. The app has been a great tool for storing medical information, sending reminders about medication and most importantly accurately tracking seizures. Inspyre by Smart Monitor is very reliable and we recommend the app

### 5/5 — Stores important medical records

*2022-12-01, version 3.11*

"My uncle has epilepsy and is connected to the Inspyre app by Smart Monitor. During his recent visit to our house, he had a seizure and we had to rush him to the ER.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Most convoluted sign up process I’ve ever encountered

*2023-09-07, version 3.13*

One would have to be a sadist to design a registration process this Byzantine. Please redesign this so those of us willing to pay for the subscription can actually login.

### 1/5 — Not reliable and difficult to cancel

*2023-03-06, version 3.13*

The false alarms with this app were annoying. My daughter set it off while walking in a parking lot in front of me. But it was unforgivable in my book when I found her having a seizure while wearing her watch with Inspyre and I never got a notice. So I went to cancel and it requires submission of an order ticket. Talk about adding insult to injury. What legit app/service allows you to sign up easily via automated services but requires manual intervention to allow you to cancel?

### 1/5 — Wasted money, wasted time installing

*2022-12-07, version 3.11*

I downloaded the app on my grandson’s watch - purchased the plan, entered contact details for alerts, tested (texts and phone calls were sent and caregivers notified during the test) and this app TOTALLY missed the 20 minute tonic-clonic at 1:30 this morning. I had to give it one star to post this review.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2022-10-04, version 3.11*

Total waste of time, don’t even bother

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2022-01-05, version 3.6*

This app is a waste of money it you need a username and password to login but I never got either one

### 1/5 — Charged an auto renewal fee after I cancelled the service

*2021-07-20, version 3.6*

I contacted SmartMonitor in September 2020 and requested a cancellation of service. They charged a renewal fee of $449.00 to my credit card in early April 2021. They promptly agreed to refund the money after I complained about it but it seems pretty crooked to try charging a customer for renewal of service after the customer requested cancellation of service six months ago. They should have overwritten my billing account information at the time the service was cancelled. CEO Anoo Nathan declined to respond to my request for an explanation.

Not very trustworthy.

### 1/5 — Just Like Others, I couldn’t even use, because I couldn’t Register an Account

*2021-06-05, version 3.4*

Just like other Reviewers I signed up, to give my family some piece of mind, while I was out and about, or asleep in another room. The concept is great, but I never got to see it executed. To use the app AT ALL you must register an account through an e-mail link, I waited over 2 1/2 days for my registration link to come (requested it re-sent 3 times).....NEVER CAME. Oh But they took my CC# to pay for the service, immediately! I did FINALLY get a registration link like 10 days later..This is an App to send out Medical Alerts and monitor seizure activity, If you can take my money immediately.....you can send my registration link immediately!! My Epilepsy will NOT wait on your slow e-mail system, and neither can I. If you’re gonna make an app that monitors a MEDICAL CONDITION, work the bugs out before you put it out, ESPECIALLY if you’re gonna charge real money. I feel taken advantage of, and only the worst kinda person takes advantage of people with serious health issues. Fellow Epileptics there is a good working App out there that does as this one promises, warns your loved ones, registers you immediately, and keeps a good detailed seizure Log/Journal for you for a reasonable price. It’s called SeizAlarm. It is what I use now, and it’s the best mobile seizure alarm I’ve found to date. Inspyre.....Get it Together before you put anything else out on the market. People CAN die during seizures, take your product and customer care a little more seriously, please.

### 1/5 — The worst to start, who know how it works

*2021-03-29, version 3.4*

You can download the app to you phone and watch, both do nothing bc you have to then go to the website and figure out how to purchase a plan that works for you(hundreds of dollars) and then be sent an email with a private password to get into the phone app. This is how you will make emergency contacts. It should now sync with the watch bc that is what you pay for but mine dis not. Emailed them for step by step protocol needed ASAP and was told after paying all the money it would be 1-2 day waiting time. Horrible service and horrible set up!! Its not even an app!!

### 1/5 — Fail

*2021-02-01, version 3.3*

Didn’t work.

### 1/5 — Terrible Activation Process

*2020-01-15, version 2.2*

This service is terrible before you even manage to purchase anything. You have to find your way to epilepsy solutions rather than the brand name website (which is for North America). Once on the UK website, if you go to purchase a subscription, you must choose amongst services which are not actually described. You just get a choice of Bronze, Silver or Gold and their prices, along with the hefty activation fee. You have to search through the website to finally find what each level of service actually offers. There are further complications as the only purchase you can make is for a one month subscription and activation fee. It is not made clear whether or not you must come back each month to make a new purchase or whether your credit card will be charged each month. The fact that you must choose an option regarding activation creates the impression that you can purchase future months without activation but it turns out that the only option regarding activation is ‘yes’! I have not gotten as a far as actually making a payment because I am unsure about whether or not I can trust this system. If you are charged monthly thereafter, what happens if the service does not work well enough for yo? What cancellation options are there? None of this is made clear.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use and navigate

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

The interface of the Inspyre is easy to use and I can input data and find what I need with ease. I can easily view how my seizures have changed over time which is helpful to know because my memory suffers as a side effect to the epilepsy medication I take. I would highly recommend the app to those with seizure disorders.

### 5/5 — Best app for seizure tracking

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

The inspyre app is resourceful for medical records as it stores important information on seizures. The app has always alerted my loved ones and caregivers about my seizure episodes and has also recorded the audio during the time of my seizure for medical purposes. The app is reliable and accurate and I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Timely alerts that are accurate and reliable

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

I will never forget the day my daughter had a seizure in the bathroom and I was aware only because I was instantly alerted by the Inspyre App. Thanks to the app, I could come to her rescue and prevent a harmful situation. I have been using their annual subscription for over a year and I will continue because they are reliable, accurate and on time with their alerts.

### 5/5 — Great customer service

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

Their customer service is phenomenal! They fixed an app bug almost immediately and recovered all my data while my smartwatch was having trouble. I use the Inspyre app to keep a record of my seizures and alert the family about every seizure episode. The app and the customer service team are a 100% reliable

### 5/5 — Seizure tracking for my daughter

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

This review is on behalf of our 8 year old daughter Kate, who got diagnosed with epilepsy last year and uses the Inspyre app by Smart Monitor on her apple watch. Thank you for alerting my family and care giver about my seizures, and for ensuring that they can always come to my rescue whenever I experience seizure movements and could possibly be in danger. We feel safer while I am connected to the app.

### 5/5 — Accurate seizure tracking

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

My roommate recently started having seizure episodes. We decided to purchase the subscription plan for her apple watch to always stay alerted about her episodes whether we are near or far. It's been three months and the app has always accurately alerted us. One time, I went out to buy groceries while our other roommate was home and asleep. Luckily both of us got alerted instantly about her seizure episode and rushed to make sure everything was alright. I'm thankful that the app keeps a track of her abnormal body movements and seizure records. As someone who isn't well versed with medical information, the app's records was of great help to the medical professionals.

### 5/5 — Best app for seizure alerts

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

I have tried a few competitor apps for my seizure tracking and none of them were as accurate as the Inspyre app by SmartMonitor. I have a subscription plan for my apple watch, the app always alerts my relatives every time I have seizure episodes and I feel safer while I am connected to the app. Thank you, SmartMonitor!

### 5/5 — Great app for seizure tracking

*2022-12-16, version 3.11*

I gifted my best friend the Inspyre app subscription for her smartwatch during the sale. She got diagnosed with epilepsy last year and I wanted to support her in the best way I could. After hearing about the Inspyre app, I decided to get an annual subscription for her as a little gesture to show her that I am always around. I am truly glad that she now feels safe while she is connected to the app and it alerts me and her family members while it detects abnormal body movements, and even keeps a track of her seizure episodes. Thank you SmartMonitor.

### 5/5 — Never forget medications again!

*2022-12-07*

I like the reminders so i don't forget to track whether I've taken my meds. I frequenlty coudn't remember whether.I had taken them or not, and missed taking them several times. I also love the symptom logging. My only wish is that when you mark a symptom that it would allow you to show the severity range by marking statuses for green, yellow, red levels. Maybe a future upgrade?

### 5/5 — Best app I've treid

*2022-12-07*

I've tried several apps to manage my epilepsy but this is by far the best and most user friendly one I've tried. This app has helped me bring my seizures down over a point so far. It would have been great if the GPS feature was available for silver packages since I really don't want to pay $20 more .. it really is a necessity for all plans, if you ask me.
