They treated me with kindness, respect, and helped me every way they could. I was a bit agitated by my own pain, and was a bit rude when I selected the wrong options for a visit. Not only did they help me despite of my attitude, but they were very professional. I did not deserve the treatment I got. As far as the app? It's super easy to use. I had my visit set up in less than ten minutes. Prescriptions within a couple hours. I even got support to contact the doctor when I had an issue with the dosage. I was able to set up a profile within 20 minutes and pay $27ish dollars for a text-based appointment. The estimated wait time was anywhere from 15 minutes to 6 hours, but the app will notify you when the doctor has messaged you! I started the visit, the app had me in the virtual “wait room”, and I went about my day. The app notified me in about 3 hours and was able to send pictures/symptoms. Then I was able to get a prescription I needed! In a lot of pain at 4:30pm on a Saturday, I decided to try InstaCured. The signup was easy; medical history was easy; $28 is insanely cheap; by 5pm I texted with a doctor and had a script sent to the pharmacy in time to pick up before 6p close. This is my first App store review because people need to know about this. Also, the doctors volunteer their time to help people struggling with money and health insurance. $28 and 30 minutes — can’t beat that. ### 5/5 — Affordable and fast refills *2026-04-16, version 4.0.5* I love this service! I don’t have insurance bc I hate the insurance ceos and instacured makes it easy and affordable to talk with a doctor to refill my lexapro prescriptions. I get my refill the same day as my visit! I always make sure to donate $1 per visit so the doctors here can keep things low cost and I get to keep enjoying my affordable prescriptions. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Would give zero stars if i could *2026-08-21, version 4.0.6* Waited over 5 hours for a doctor to immediately dismiss my issues and want to cancel the visit before I could even get a word in. Then said my note was fake and that they couldn’t help me. What a waste of time and money. I cannot afford a regular doctor or urgent care visit and the stupid AI on the website said my issue would for sure be seen and I would be able to get a prescription. Doctor was rude and insulting. Stay far away. Now, I have no other options for treatment so I will soon become disabled. What a great way to treat people especially those facing financial difficulties that seek these services out in the first place. ### 1/5 — Nope *2026-05-09, version 4.0.6* The doctors were unable to prescribe me standard medication. I mentioned my sensitivity to SSRI’s and they insisted SSRI’s. Not very intelligent. I wanted to take Lamotrigine but they would only offer it with an SSRI, which makes no sense. Having trouble even selecting the password field. Updating my chart was painful and got stuck several times on medications. had to enter my credit card information again. ### 1/5 — Great Service, found a bug in the app *2025-08-29* I really like the service. I have used it a few times and it is cheaper than other options. This past time using it I found a bug in the app that prevented it from being usable on my phone (iPhone SE 2). While trying to set up an appointment it requires I confirm my medical information is correct and up to date. The screen where I update this info had a banner at top: SERVICE SLOW: Wait up to 2 hours. This moves the rest of the form down by the height of the banner, preventing me from filling out the immunization history and thus continuing to setting up my visit. If this problem gets fixed I will edit my review of the app since the service is very good otherwise. ### 2/5 — I wasted my money *2026-01-01, version 4.0.4* Honestly my fault for even buying a doctors note. It looks so fake I didn’t even end up using it. ### 2/5 — Still needs a lot of work *2025-09-10, version 1.50.4* The first time that I used the service, the app and service worked amazingly. My family tried again 3 more times after, and each time our appointment got stuck on a loading screen without being able to talk to a doctor. There are reviews saying they don’t give refunds, and that’s not true. They just have a small support team processing all the requests and are a bit slow. I won’t be able to use InstaCured anymore due to the unreliable service unfortunately, hopefully they fix this issue soon. ### 3/5 — Experience Was Ok *2025-11-19* I woke up and knew I had a UTI (as a woman you just know!) and didn’t want to get out to go to Urgent Care. I found InstaCured through Google and thought it sounded great. I loved the fact that you can text with the doctor as an option. I downloaded the app and when I was inputting my medical info it was being glitchy but I managed. It never told me how long the wait would be so I assumed I would speak to someone after paying. Boy was I wrong!! After paying I was put into the “waiting room” where it said the wait was 2 hours or even longer. I waited about an hour and 45 min to talk to someone. Conversation was very delayed and at one point I waited just over 15 minutes for the doctor to reply to my answer to his question! In the end I did receive the prescription and it was sent very fast. I don’t believe I would use this service again. ### 4/5 — Affordable & It is a great app *2026-02-25, version 4.0.5* I start using this app from last year when I didn’t have any insurance and low on funds. I like the app because it’s the only one I can get to talk to a doctor without insurance or even leave my house.
