Agents are non responsive, not honoring the requests to call back. There is no way to chat with a live agent. My order has been “out for delivery” for the past five hours and I can’t cancel it or get through to customer service. InstaShop used to be reliable, but their customer service and logistics have completely collapsed. I ordered a Stanley cup that was scheduled to be delivered last night. Instead of my delivery, I got a call with a weak excuse: they couldn't assign a driver because the shop was closed. They promised me it would be prioritized and delivered the next day by 10:00 AM sharp, throwing a pathetic 10 AED voucher at me as a "sorry." 10:00 AM comes and goes today. No delivery. I check the app, and to my absolute disbelief, the status says "Delivered." It’s outright fraud to mark an order as delivered when the customer is standing there empty-handed. I called customer service furious, only to get the exact same script: "We are so sorry, a driver wasn't assigned, let us give you another voucher." I don’t want your useless vouchers. I want you to do your job and deliver what I paid for when you promised you would. Stop trying to buy off your operational incompetence with cheap coupons and actually fix your delivery network. Absolutely pathetic experience. Then after 1 hour they cancel my order because they dont have stocks and then my money is stuck with them for 5 business days!! Cant you do 1 simple job of updating what is left and what is not in your stock? There is NO customer service support and the order is always more than an hour delayed, and you can’t cancel or return anything one it’s delayed! Nobody will be available for you and none of their contact channels work on time. Literally use ANYTHING else! I’ve tried emailing them and calling them and using the in-app support for problems with my order and they never reach out or respond or when they do, it’s a dismissive generic answer and they don’t solve your problem. Even after multiple chances and rounds of feedback they don’t improve, they only get worse! They marked my order delivered after one hour of wait while I did not receive it. They canceled some items they showed were available on the app and turns out to be not available at all. All of which happened without a single call from them to advise me or even a push on the app. I tried to contact them but nobody got back to me . The delay in my orders has been happening repeatedly every single time I place an order since February, and unfortunately this latest order was no different. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that whenever I try to contact customer support to report the issue, I never receive any meaningful assistance. The only response I get is an automated message that does nothing to resolve the problem. I have also requested multiple times to be contacted by a representative, yet those requests have been completely ignored. This gives the impression that your company is simply not concerned about the poor level of service being provided to its customers. After months of dealing with the same issue over and over again, I have lost confidence in your service. As a result, I have decided to delete my account and remove your application from my phone. I will not be using your services again in the future. Apart from the other issues that it has, customer service is one of my biggest withdrawals from this app. You can not reach them directly You have submit a request and wait hours before anyone reaches out, when and if they reach out the issue is never resolved or they are just too late( most of the time they don’t even bother to reach out) this happened to me on several occasions when i needed urgent help. If something goes wrong and you’re owed more than that, don’t expect to be fully compensated. Also, refunds are issued as Instapoints, not as a cash refund, so you’re forced to spend the money in the app again. I’ve spent the past week trying to get a refund for extra items that were delivered with my order and charged to me, even though I never ordered them. Despite providing all the evidence they could possibly need, they only offered a partial refund that was less than what I was owed, claiming it was “company policy.” Their customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. You can’t speak to someone directly. You have to file a complaint and then wait. Hours later, they may send a notification or call you once at a completely random time. If you miss that one call, you’re expected to file a new complaint and start over. Even worse, complaints are often marked as “resolved” without any explanation or actual resolution. They also never responded to my emails. Things can go wrong with any delivery app: missing items, damaged items, incorrect charges, late deliveries, or in my case, being charged for items you never ordered. What separates a good service from a bad one is how it handles those problems. In my experience, Instashop completely fails when it comes to responsive, effective customer support. I ordered through instashop from Hasan Perfect Bookshop. I had requested for golden wire but I received purple wire. When I called and enquired about it, the attendant told they did not have golden wire in-stock. They shouldn't have mentioned it in the application or they could have taken the initiative to call the customer and asked whether any replacement can be done.
