I spent $14 on a subscription so that I could get a few photos that looked nothing like me and are not even remotely usable. A scam. ### 1/5 — Need Refund *2026-04-05* Please advise how to refund first week’s subscription. The trained model is frozen, does not do anything, and hasn’t provided any usable images. If you contact customer support, your email will be shared with scammers and phishers. Customer support WILL NOT respond. I purchased one week for $8.99 but was billed for a year at $49.99. ASK CHAT GPT ABOUT THIS APP. IT HAS A HIGH RATE OF BEING A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE! Also since downloading and contacting their support, I have received DAILY phishing emails with links to click etc. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THIS APP. What it doesn't tell you is that you're stuck with the hair of the model in the app. A complete fraud. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-01-13* Downloaded it, and it didn't work. It allowed me to enter my information and documents, but required a fee to use it even once—no free trial or trial period. There are many better options out there, and they are too expensive to try for even a week. It was around $1.99 for the week; that might be worth it, but not $9, and I'm not even sure if it will work properly. ### 1/5 — Garbage. I was unable to upload my photos and repeatedly encountered error messages. ### 1/5 — Chopped off my hair and made me too thin *2025-11-13, version 1.0.22* I don’t know why the AI was obsessed with taking 2 to 6 inches off my hair in every photo. It also made me look too thin and unrecognizable. Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — So many better options out there *2025-11-13* There are so many better head shot AI options out there. Do not waste money on this one. You can only generate one model, unlike other apps where you can generate multiple ones. There are much fewer options for the actual headshot as well. When I reached out to support to ask about generating another model with different photos, they answered immediately asking what I was unhappy about. When I responded explaining I had used older photos as a test, I never received a response back. Most other apps will also offer you a free trial period, this one doesn’t. Definitely wishing I hadn’t gotten this, or, read the fine print. ### 1/5 — Not working *2025-11-02, version 1.0.21* I keep getting this error code 422, I tried reaching out via the support tab and no response. I they keep charging me… ### 1/5 — Worse app EVER! *2025-10-25* I have tried a few different AI headshot and this is by far the WORST! I set up my profile and used 8 good selfies as requested. When I went to create my headshot the first was a 70 year old woman.. I’m 38 and look NOTHING like the created headshot. Ok, tried again.. and the second was of an Asian woman.. I’m Caucasian. My photos never even showed up and it is impossible to get any support. In addition it never created a headshot, is training for a few hours and then the application is getting stuck. When I saw how poor quality my 1st trained model was (looked nothing like me despite me having fed it with 10 photos), I tried to run another and it asked me for more money just to do despite paying for an annual subscription! ### 1/5 — Just Fraud *2026-04-16* You’ll be asked to pay for the subscription fee, $8.99, but if you want to take more photos to create a better generative AI model or if you make a mistake in doing so, you will be asked to pay an additional $4.99 per instance! What is the subscription for? None of that is disclosed, and the app developer did not reply to my questions and the store didn’t offer a refund. It’s just fraud, stay away. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best portrait app ever *2026-03-22, version 1.0.26* Excellent app ### 5/5 — Bad app bad customer service *2025-09-07* Upon unsuccessful attempt to address the trial version got a discounted price deal for full app usage beyond trial and this was no different after using two headshots it used up 10 headshots for the week first off it was only 2 and second thing is that this is a full version not a trial version and shouldn’t cap at 10 shots . Anyway called Apple customer service and got the money back . Feel like they could do better both in customer service and making app better but doesn’t look like that’s happening with the way customer service is. Then I did a yearly account for 31$ and after 2 headshots it said 10 headshots limit met . When contacted again no communication back to fix it . Pathetic .
