Out of nowhere, their automated system threw out a bogus "account sharing" security flag. When an unrecognized login or security breach happened, their app didn't protect me—it treated me like the offender. Here is how Instawork actually operates behind the scenes: Support is Run by Bots: You will spend weeks screaming into an void of automated auto-responders (like "Jordan") who throw canned template answers at you. They don't read your messages, look at your timestamps, or open your files. Zero Verification of Proof: I provided over 200 timestamped, geotagged photos proving my physical presence on-site for every single shift. Front-line support completely ignored every piece of hard evidence. Withheld Pay Until Forced Escalation: They froze my legitimate earnings until I fought through hell with formal compliance complaints. While a senior manager finally audited my file, verified my work, and released my money, they immediately closed my account with another copy-paste script without ever explaining the raw access logs or factual basis. Save yourself the stress, protect your paper trail, and take your skills to platforms and employers that actually value real communication and integrity. ### 1/5 — WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER *2026-08-29, version 2.241.1* I was suspended and locked out of my account for “no showing” a shift that I most definitely attended- I’ve been fighting all week with support to get un-suspended and to get payed for a separate shift that they say they can’t confirm my hours on Their only support option is an AI chatbot that takes 15 minutes (or much much more) to even get back to you. When it eventually realizes that it can’t solve your problem and decides to send you to a human agent, that agent doesn’t get to you for at least another hour- at which point they will send one pre written message (I know because I had to open multiple tickets and got the same exact unhelpful response) and then proceed to disappear for hours- even if you respond within a minute. I have tickets open where I am literally left on delivered for weeks now- this is not even a functional system, and you’re using it as the mitigation for your entire apps issues (which it has many of). I have been left entirely without support for days- dropped from all my shifts for the month, totally screwing over my plans. This is how you treat the people working for you?
