## What is InSync?

InSync is a shared calendar for two. One place for one person's work shifts, the other's appointments, the groceries, the errands and next month's trip — without having to tell each other everything twice.

WORK SHIFTS
Set up your shifts with their colour and their pattern (rotating ones included) and the calendar fills itself in. Changing a single day is one gesture, not a rebuild of the whole pattern. If you both work shifts, each of you has your own and you see them side by side.

A GENUINELY SHARED CALENDAR
Month, fortnight, week and day views. What one of you creates shows up on the other's phone in seconds, with nothing to refresh. And it keeps working with no signal: it syncs when you are back.

YOUR OTHER CALENDARS, INSIDE
Bring in the calendars you already have on your iPhone — iCloud, work, or the Google and Outlook ones you have set up in Settings — and see your usual events next to the group's. You decide which ones are shared and which stay yours.

LISTS AND ERRANDS
A shopping list sorted by supermarket, tasks with someone assigned to them, and notes with checklists. Tick things off from either phone.

TRIPS
Plan the trip day by day: journeys, accommodation, itinerary and whatever attachments you need, in the same place as the rest of the calendar.

WIDGET AND SIRI
A calendar widget on your home screen with the month's shifts and events. And you can ask Siri what you have on today without opening the app.

ALERTS
Reminders for your events, and a heads-up when the other person adds or changes something. Events you import from other calendars never trigger notifications.

PRIVACY
Your data belongs to you and to the person you share the calendar with. No ads, no profiling, no selling data. You can delete your account from inside the app.

INSYNC PRO
The essentials are free forever: the shared calendar, the shifts, the shopping list, the errands, and one trip, one note and one list. InSync Pro lifts those limits — unlimited trips, notes and lists — and unlocks the home screen widgets. It is a monthly or yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial. The subscription renews itself unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends; you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. No ads and no data selling on either plan.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-09

Important fixes:

• Leaving a shared group left the app stuck, with your local data already cleared and no way forward other than force-quitting. It now takes you back to the start, as it should.
• Tasks could get mixed between groups if you belonged to more than one. Each group sees only its own again.
• Deleting your account or leaving the group left the saved access to your external calendars on the phone. It is now cleared too.
• A notification arriving while you had a sheet open could get lost without opening anything.
• With the screen reader on there was no way to move between weeks or fortnights.
• Opening from the widget while you were in Settings put the sheet on top of Settings instead of taking you to the calendar.
• The widget now catches up with new events without you having to open the app.
• When an external calendar stops syncing you can now see it and retry, instead of it failing silently.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-02

Important fixes:

• Deleted things stay deleted. An event, note or item you deleted only stayed gone until you closed the app; now it really goes, and what the other person deletes disappears from your phone too.
• No more lost edits. If you lost signal while saving a change, your phone could end up silently discarding whatever your partner edited on that same event.
• The shopping widget shows four items instead of three, and tapping it opens Shopping rather than the calendar.
• The shopping list now recognises items written in English.
• Phrases like "1 days overdue" now read correctly.
