It’s useful for assigning patches to studio sets, but to be honest, that’s about it. There are so many parameters of the INTEGRA-7 that cannot be edited from this app. No parameter offset setting in the studio set, no PCM part editing at all. Those pages that are there still require editing via the INTEGRA for the deepest parameters. ### 3/5 — DECENT APP *2022-04-25, version 1.1.1* The App Editor is decent. Please keep in mind that it does not have all the features of the actual unit. It’s best for your mixing page and renaming and saving patches and studio sets. It can do a little more, but not much more than that. As long as you have the right wireless usb device, it will sync perfectly with your unit without problems. As a recommendation, whenever I use my iPad with it, I turn off the automatic screen timeout. If your iPad screen times out while you’re playing, you’ll notice a slight midi hiccup. Noting will break but there will be an interruption. Disable the screen timeout and you’ll avoid that issue. I use the app all the time as it’s a bigger screen for my mixer viewer and it’s better than just using the onboard screen. If the app had the full features of the unit, that’d be better, but the app is better than nothing at all. ### 2/5 — Crashing when loading woodwinds *2020-12-28, version 1.1.1* Recently the app is not reliable... perhaps due to Apple iOS updates? Is it possible to update the app so it doesn’t crash? How about including some of the cool features of the app for people who use the Integra 7 in live performances like you have for the home/studio/composer? Если нельзя влезать в кучу функции, то вообще такое дистанционное управление? Смысл? Исключительно для эффектных презентаций? Дескать смотрите как у нас все удобно управляется. Баловство какое то. В реальной работе все равно приходится ставить синт на расстоянии вытянутой руки и всматриваться в узкое окошко. ### 4/5 — Love It, But... *2018-05-20, version 1.1.1* I love this app. It works as described, and ever since the app update was released, I am finally able to use the app again with my iPad Pro second generation with the latest operating system. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: I wish I could adjust octave settings for individual parts on the iPad interface. Similarly, there are MANY other possible settings for each part that are not accessible from the app. Is there a way to fix this? I am constantly in many performance situations in which the Integra 7 itself is not immediately accessible to me. Being able to adjust EVERYTHING would be fantastic. ### 4/5 — YES...FINALLY, THANK YOU !!! *2017-12-20, version 1.1.0* I just purchased a new Roland Integra-7 a couple of months ago. Owning too many keyboards, one of which is the Jupiter 50 (which I have decided to sell), I replaced it with the rackmount version. Part of the big appeal of going to the rack mount was that it had an iPad app. I was wrong! Just a couple of months ago, I realized that they had taken it off the App Store (AFTER I purchased the 7)! Boy was I disappointed!!! Then today, I ran across a fresh link for the Integra-7 app, so I followed it back to the App Store. Lo and behold, I saw that they brought it back from the dead! You can't believe how happy I am! I have to say thank you to Roland (a little begrudgingly) as it seemed that they would never update this. My only gripe at this point is, that the wireless is not working properly. It worked a little bit the first time but constantly fails to connect. Please fix this Roland. BTW Roland, if you are still making products that are for sale in retail, you should support them as well. I was losing faith because of this incident, but hopefully you will do the right thing in the future with all your products like this, especially when someone pays $1500 for your product. Not exactly chump change. ### 4/5 — So glad they finally updated to iOS 11! *2017-12-13, version 1.1.0* This app is probably the easiest, most convenient, and attractive solution to selecting and editing your sounds in the Integra 7. For me, the Integra is great- amazing sounding and flexible, however the integration with the iPad is what really makes it invaluable for me. Being able to select sounds based on the categories with colorful icons really helps me make music easier. Now I think about what TYPE of sound I want to come next, rather than scrolling through presets. It's never been easier to make fully layered productions, especially considering it takes zero CPU power. Definitely my secret weapon ;) ### 4/5 — Doch wieder Unterstützung! *2017-12-01, version 1.1.0* Update 01.12.2017: Ein Wunder!!! Die App wurde heute von Roland aktualisiert. Sie ist jetzt auch iOS 11 kompatibel. Danke! Das gibt dann auch wieder Sterne. Alte Rezension: Roland hat die App eingestellt (siehe Roland Webseite unter Support). Für mich ist das Betrug, weil das Gerät damit beworben wurde. Ich werde von Roland nichts mehr kaufen, was nicht 100% standalone ist. The iPad was a serious part of the workflow and we are dead in the water for all intents and purposes. Please update the app “yesterday“. Manually making the adjustments on the Integra are a pain in the neck. The application is excellent but no good if not updated. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this morning it had just been updated and now works! Thank you Roland, thank you! For Mac users this is the best graphic editor there is for the Integra 7, although it appears that Roland have now discontinued the Integra 7 module. Still regard it as one of the best synth modules ever released. ### 5/5 — Roland takes dump on users --wait a second!! *2017-11-30, version 1.0.0* Roland says the product is discontinued and they will not be updating the app. The product is still being sold in stores.Some new Roland products also feature apps . Don't count on those apps ever being up dated, right .So if any of those apps seem like a big factor in your purchase, you might want to reconsider Roland with your purchases. On my iPad Pro I have 235 apps only 13 have not been updated. I believe it is not hard or expensive to update this app. It is clear many by far smaller companies have updated their apps . Your going to have to make a massive assault on Roland support , if there's any chance of changing their short side decision, which does effect their reputation. Should Roland support be called Roland unsupport. Roland now says it's putting list of comments from integra users together to send up corporate ladder so get those emails into support.
