After a few days, the app can't find the receiver and the only way to correct this is to unplug the unit, wait a bit, then plug it back in. Very annoying and based on the reviews, it's a common issue. For what's supposed to be a high end receiver/brand, this is bush league stuff. Check out the Yamaha app if you want to see how a quality app works and feels. I can control the source, volume, and EQ settings from a different room, even from my backyard as long I still have wifi. It is a full functional remote. I can stream music from my iTunes library. The odd occasion it does connect it’s not too bad. The other 90% (I’m not kidding) of the time it won’t connect. It’s that bad I bought a Denon amp upstairs as the app works 100% perfectly all the time. Although both amps are great I use my phone a lot to stream music, so without the ability to use my phone to connect I will never ever buy another Integra amp again…….and nor will anybody I talk to about the patheticness of this much needed integration. ### 1/5 — No, I will not agree to anything. My app now works fine—no issues. Thanks Integra for being there for your loyal customer base. Well done! ### 5/5 — Works w Onkyo TX-NR636! *2018-11-07, version 2.3.4* I was using Onkyo Remote 3 happily for a couple of years on my iPhone 6 running iOS 10. Then I upgraded to iOS 11, and everything stopped working. To my delight, I just tried this Integra app tonight, and it works with my Onkyo TX-NR636! I really missed having a phone app to control Zone 2 when I was on my back patio — using the original remote for Zone 2 control is painful at best. Onkyo, please upgrade your Onkyo Remote 3 app, or release this Integra Remote app also branded as Onkyo Remote 4. Not supporting iOS 11 with your previous app made me question whether I would ever buy Onkyo again. ### 5/5 — Works well *2016-09-04, version 2.3.2* I just exchanged my receiver for a DRX5, going from a a Pioneer Elite SC-63. The Pioneer app barely connected, and it was overengineered. This app seems much simpler, and while I had some issues intially, once I upgraded the firmware, all connectivity issues went away. I didn't understand how to set the correct listening modes, but after tweaking with it a bit, it has a lot of functionality. Ir now stays active in the background when switching between other apps and when the phone goes into sleep mode rather than either crashing or restarting every time as it did before. Much improved. Album art is also full-size and much better than previous version. Controls are a bit easier to operate such as the volume slider with plus and minus buttons for easier fine control.
