### 2/5 — App not working correctly

*2023-10-16, version 2.0.0*

App finds heaters can program schedule and advance but cannot adjust temperature still have to go to heaters to do this.

### 1/5 — CAR050

*2023-02-22*

Cannot set timer settings from the app-the temperature sets ok but when you touch the start or end times the app immediately crashes - this happens every time so it’s impossible to use the app & have to revert to onboard display (iPhone 12) - ios16.2 (latest software installed)

I have an earlier iPad Air which also fails to allow the user to set the timer on the app

So GlenDimplex when are your software engineers going to sort this out (reading the reviews other people are having the same issue)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-02-17, version 2.0.0*

Timer doesn’t work, also heater is set for 17* and is not on, currently the room is about 8* but heater doesn’t turn on until is set for above 19*

### 1/5 — Not connecting anymore

*2022-12-09, version 2.0.0*

This app no longer connects to my radiator, it picks up the radiator but just doesn’t connect.. it used to work great.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2022-01-23, version 1.4.0*

I have recently downloaded this app to use on my 3 heaters. Installing the app and the heaters were fine, now I can’t even get on to the app to use it and turn the heaters up and down. It doesn’t load up. Not impressed!!

### 3/5 — Suddenly stopped working

*2021-12-21, version 1.4.0*

This app has always worked fine. But has just today decided not to work properly anymore.
The bedroom rad no longer connects to Bluetooth despite being visible on the app. The lounge rad has stopped being visible in the app but is connected to Bluetooth??!

### 1/5 — Only one user per household?!

*2021-12-06, version 1.4.0*

I cannot use the system because my partner has the app, therefore I can’t log in! So if they aren’t at home, the app is pointless.
UI is terrible, lots of returning to first page and waiting and reloading.

Brrrrr.

### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish

*2021-02-20, version 1.3.0*

Not user friendly.. not intuitive. Many a wasted hour trying to work it out. The help link doesn’t work , there’s no manual. Give the amount I’ve paid for the rads surely you could spend some on the app development.

### 1/5 — Timer issue

*2021-01-01, version 1.3.0*

Can’t set a timer. Won’t let you set it

### 1/5 — Very, very poor

*2020-11-14, version 1.3.0*

This is a truly awful app! I have just had these heaters installed by our electrician into our new business extension. 11 in total. Didn’t think to check out the app usage for them first compared to alternative makes. What a mistake! The app is just not intuitive at all! It’s almost impossible to determine whether the timer is set up correctly or not! If you try to set different times for different days it just doesn’t seem to like it and it’s almost impossible to tell if you’ve done it correctly. I have spent a lot of wasted time trying to set these up! In an age where everything is getting easier this system is terrible and needs upgrading or rewriting. Wish I’d bought a different system!

### 1/5 — The worst app i’ve ever used

*2020-01-30, version 1.2.0*

By far the worst app I’ve ever used. No features of the app work properly at all. The heaters work fine and are very efficient but the app is completely useless.

### 4/5 — Helpful app

*2019-12-13, version 1.1.1*

Simple to use. I keep these radiators on a thermostat so they just trigger on when the temperature drops. But occasionally, from my bed if I wake and it’s a bit chilly I just use the app to boost the temp up! I don’t have them on timers as they are just always on the thermostat.

### 2/5 — App Support for HDSP

*2019-12-11, version 1.1.1*

I have 7 HSDP heaters and the app supported them before update 2 months ago. Waiting for update to get the app to work with heaters again. When will this happen?

### 1/5 — Difficult

*2019-12-10, version 1.1.1*

Okay, I was excited by the prospect of app control. I have 6 radiators. It appears I can name them, hall bedroom ect. This leaves me the option of trying to remember their number!
This needs a lot of dev to be credible!

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2019-11-22, version 1.1.1*

App crashes constantly on start up is there a fix for this

### 1/5 — Useless app..

*2019-11-17, version 1.1.1*

This app is pretty useless really.. When I bought these heaters I was thinking it would be saving me money but they are not really that economical and this app is next to useless. My advice is to set the heaters up manually using the user timer for each heater.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2019-11-15, version 1.1.1*

Just had three heaters installed.Have apple 6 iPhone.App detected two of the heaters but will not connect to third.Engineer called! Using the app to set timers appears to work but when you think you have set timers the heater does not come on. Clunky and unworkable. These heaters replaced storage heaters. The heaters are expensive to run and we have made the very expensive decision to install new storage heaters.

### 1/5 — Shocking App

*2019-11-02, version 1.1.1*

Avoid these heaters and this app. Shockingly bad.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-10-24, version 2.0.1*

After turning the heater on after summer, I can’t get it to connect, it can’t seem to find the heater although it’s there in the search

### 1/5 — Minimal function they never update app with new features

*2025-10-14, version 2.0.1*

Please add more features like LOCK display from the app as it’s very difficult to do direct from heater as You have to hold for 5-10second and requires several tries
- also user timer function on the app does not work - keeps kicking you out of the app every time you try to set time.

### 1/5 — Useless App

*2025-02-06, version 2.0.0*

It does not allow anything except basic - on and off and change temp. There is no programming potential whatsoever

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-01-19, version 2.0.0*

Amending my review as the app can’t even find my radiator any more.
Even when it was working it was pretty bad, missing any of the features that would make it useful.

### 1/5 — User timer cannot be set on App

*2025-01-07, version 2.0.0*

User timer cannot be set on app keeps crashing and exits the whole app every time - lots more people complained but never sorted with an update. Poor service

### 1/5 — CAR050

*2024-11-17, version 2.0.0*

Cannot set timer settings from the app-the temperature sets ok but when you touch the start or end times the app immediately crashes - this happens every time so it’s impossible to use the app & have to revert to onboard display (iPhone 12) - ios16.2 (latest software installed) I have an earlier iPad Air which also fails to allow the user to set the timer on the app So GlenDimplex when are your software engineers going to sort this out (reading the reviews other people are having the same issue)

Still the same a few fears on - looks like they’ve given up on the app ?! Typical with manufacturers these days - create an app and not support or develop it - cutting costs I guess ??

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-10-07*

The app found my radiator easily but you can’t do any programming from the app, can’t adjust the temperature or edit the program.
In fact it looks like the only thing I can do is advance to the next programmed time, or cancel it.
Needs a lot more functionality to be of any use.

### 1/5 — Awful user experience, can’t connect anything

*2023-11-07, version 2.0.0*

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to connect any of my Heatstore “smart” heaters. They all have Bluetooth because I can get them to show me the pairing PIN code but my phone can’t find any of them and neither can the app. Which has no instructions. It really needs to take you step by step through connecting a heater. Almost glad it wasn’t my decision to buy this brand.

### 1/5 — A bit basic

*2023-04-14*

The app found my radiator easily but you can’t do any programming from the app, can’t adjust the temperature or edit the program.
In fact it looks like the only thing I can do is advance to the next programmed time, or cancel it.
Needs a lot more functionality to be of any use.

### 1/5 — All the functionality you will expect but crashes

*2023-03-05, version 2.0.0*

It seems that after the last update an issue was introduced that crashes the app when trying to adjust schedule timing which makes the app not fit for purpose

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Creda

*2023-10-14, version 2.0.0*

Works perfect with Creda heaters.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Heater & App

Recently had Heatstore Intelirads installed and the app connects to each heater easily. I can control each heater from anywhere in my house, exactly what I wanted!

### 5/5 — Intelirad App

*2019-09-25, version 1.1.1*

Easiest App I have used to date, controllability is excellent

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2019-09-25, version 1.1.1*

This app is easy to use, simple and saves lots of time when programming heaters from my phone.

### 5/5 — Cracking app

*2019-09-25, version 1.1.1*

Connects no bother, can control all my heaters from my sofa! Super simple to use!

### 5/5 — It’s fixed!

*2019-09-25, version 1.1.1*

Hi, it’s fixed. Works superbly

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2017-06-16, version 1.0.3*

I've been able to set all of my timer profiles from the comfort of my living room! This app is very handy setting all of my heaters to a lower temperature before I leave without having to walk to every room in the house!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2017-04-14, version 1.0.1*

Easy to set up and use. Could you make the user profiles saveable so we can copy and paste onto each day, make seasonable, and copy to other heaters?

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2017-03-23, version 1.0.1*

Clear and easy to use app with fantastic features!
It makes it easy to control the heating in my office.

### 4/5 — Latest upgrade

*2020-01-22, version 1.2.0*

I have just updated to the new version.
I had to redo the friendly names as these were lost but no real problem. Connection to the hallway rad kept crashing the app but power off/on the radiator fixed that.

I am not sure if the app reads the timer schedule from the rad or stores it itself, but its a little annoying that when you connect to a radiator which is set to timer, if the temperature has been overridden on the radiator, this is lost and it is immediately changed to the scheduled temperature. This is a shame as I want to see if the radiator has been adjusted before correcting it. Maybe this is how it has to be due to the radiator itself.

I’m not sure how to send a command to a group of radiators, I don't really need to so no worries there. Maybe it is when you step through several rads before adjusting, but who knows! I think that confused me originally so I always connect to one, check and adjust and then close the app before moving on to the next to make sure I only affect what I want to do.

When updating the timer schedule for multiple days, I always make sure to reselect the current day as that day has been missed before if I don't do that when changing start times etc.

Other than that, I find the app really handy.

We shall see if the app is more reliable now.
