What a con and a waste of time and money. It’s a gimmick that the actual digital anemometer doesn’t need ( although would be a nice extra ) but to pretend it is connectable via Bluetooth is just a lie! Dont even bother downloading it as it doesn’t work! . ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work! *2018-03-21* The description indicates that it should work through Bluetooth but it doesn’t at all ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work with the HP-886B *2018-02-27* In the description it states it works with the HP-886B, nope it doesn’t. The box for the HP-886B said to download the app and has a QR code to link to this… why when it doesn’t work with it. ### 1/5 — Crap *2018-02-16* Wouldn’t even install. This is the absolute worst app, tried it once and no luck. When I turned on my iPhone’s Bluetooth, my iPhone paired quickly as indicated by the green LED on the unit. I could only get it to work for only about 10 seconds before the app screen would freeze. A reboot of the application would sometimes result in it running via Bluetooth. The few times it did, it hung again after less than one minute. ### 1/5 — App does not seem to work with iOS 13.3 *2019-12-20* I used this with my BTMETER BT-100-APP Anemometer a few months ago but the app seems to be completely frozen and non responsive with iOS 13.3. Tried other devices same result ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works as expected. *2020-03-05* I read the negative reviews of this app but downloaded it anyway because I noticed the recent update. It works as I hoped it would. The update corrected the issues and I’m impressed with how easily it synced with the BT-100APP. I took the anemometer and my iPhone outside to test and it works flawlessly. It didn’t crash or freeze. If after further use it does not continue to perform I will update accordingly. ### 4/5 — Not bad at all *2020-07-16* The other review seems a bit harsh so leaving this. It works fine on my iPhone 7s. You just have to press “start” in the app as per the instruction manuals and then you get two way connection and the app will handily record data every second or whatever resolution you desire. This is a great feature. Only way to “stop” the recording is to close the app, which is the reason I’m deducting one star (would’ve been easy to add a stop button, surely).
