## What is IntelliPORT?

IntelliPORT enables field technicians to ensure proper installation of Comverge’s IntelliPEAK™ Digital Control Units™ (DCU). IntelliPORT consists of an app for the iOS Device and an infrared adaptor which attaches directly to the hand-held device. 

To use IntelliPORT, simply point the iDevice at the IntelliPEAK unit’s infrared window and select “Test” to control relays. 

To display the IntelliPEAK configuration and counter information. select "Read" on the main screen.

IntelliPORT works with all Comverge IntelliPEAK units that have two-way infrared capabilities.

IntelliPEAK is a DCU that can be controlled for up to eight hours from a single radio message to cycle on and off high-energy use appliances.

System requirements:
* iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 13.5 or later with a Lightning port.
* Apple Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter 
* Infrared (IR) adaptor (30-Pin)

This app crashes upon launch on IOS13, A customer of mine was looking to replace their 30pin to Lightning adapter they were using with this app and I was not able to determine if their cable was bad since this app crashes but I did warn them to look elsewhere for IR solutions as their equipment would be useless once they eventually use devices on IOS13.

Interesting comment I read titled “Still Crap”.  It’s interesting because I’ve used this app for years and have never had an issue with it.  Of course you do have to know how to point and line up IR line of sight.  If you can’t do that then I guess something is crap but not sure it’s this app.
