## What is Intent Companion?

Intent coordinates large numbers of AI coding agents and Companion lets you follow that work from anywhere. Browse workspaces, read specs and notes, track tasks, and reply to agents from anywhere in your home or office.

IMPORTANT: Intent Companion requires the Intent desktop app. It talks directly to the Intent daemon running on your own computer over your local network. There is no cloud service, and the app has nothing to show without the desktop side.PAIR IN SECONDS
- Scan the QR code shown in Intent's settings on your desktop, or enter the host, port, and token manually.
- Connections are secured end to end: the app pins your daemon's TLS certificate fingerprint and authenticates every request with a bearer token.
- Manual pairing shows the server's certificate fingerprint so you can confirm it before trusting the connection.
- Save multiple daemons and switch between them at any time.
- If the connection drops, the app reconnects automatically as soon as your daemon is reachable again.

- Revoke access at any time by rotating the pairing token in the desktop app.
