## What is Interact?

Interact is an educational app for turning the things you want to learn into interactive lessons.

Bring all your favorite notes, links, and videos; and turn those into interactives. It's quick and easy to play through flashcards, quizzes, and other types of lessons. The spaced repetition system is built-in so you actually remember what you learn.

The idea is to take the things you're already reading, watching, and studying and turn them into something you'll still know months from now.

• Study with flashcards, fill-in-the-blank, and quizzes
• Review on a spaced repetition schedule that adapts as you learn

Spaced repetition has been around a long time, but it usually means building all your flashcards by hand. Interact does that part for you, so you can spend your time learning instead of making cards.

It's useful whether you're studying for something specific, picking up a new skill, or just trying to hold on to what you read.

Interact is free for creating and playing interactives, with a monthly limit on AI-generated lessons. Interact Premium unlocks more capacity and features, available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

### 0.4 — 2026-09-05

• This version includes a new "Ask" feature. You can ask it to create subjects and interactives, or ask anything about what you're learning.
• There is also a new audio button on flashcards that will read the card's content aloud. It now works on web, iOS, and tvOS.
• Generated lessons now support math equations and syntax-highlighted code, so science and programming subjects come through cleanly.

### 0.3 — 2026-08-22

This new version fixes a lot of usability issues and bugs for interactive lessons:

• Every interactive now shows the Subject it belongs to for context.
• Added the ability to change an interactive from one subject to another.
• When creating flashcards, there's a new checkbox to create a reverse version of the card. This is helpful for language learning and vocabulary cards.
• You can now pinch to zoom in on a flashcard content, which is helpful especially for studying paintings.
• Answer choices are shuffled, so the answer isn't accidentally showing up as the first option.
• The biggest fix was to the Markdown rendering engine. Math and code syntax are now displayed more reliably. And issues with fill-in-the-blanks and input interactives are fixed.
• Fixed a bug where updating a Goal would accidentally shift the position.
• Prevent the image upload affordances above the keyboard from blocking content.
• Made the confetti animation consistently fire when completing a lesson.
