The app worked fine on my iPhone 8 and works on my wife’s IPhone 12. It will not consistently connect to my 13. I have done all the iOS updates. It tries to connect and asks me to retry or cancel. If I power-cycle my phone off and then on again it connects perfectly but then later it will not. Called the dealer tech support and they told me it is a Control4 intercom app issue Can you fix this bug please!!!! ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing *2021-08-23, version 1.1.4* The app keeps crashing on load. The app is so bad that I’m considering to change the whole system because of it. Worked for a year, stopped working, fixed for a month, then out again, now no one (C4 or Intercom Anywhere) can resolve. Haven’t been able to answer door for a month now. Not even getting response anymore from email log that is recommended. Really expensive and non functional. Better off with Nest and Ring products. ### 2/5 — iWatch stopped notifying me by buzzing my wrist *2021-01-04, version 1.1.2* When someone ding the bell, my watch used to notified me by tapping (buzzing feeling) my wrist. But since the recent update, it stopped working. I see the notifications on iWatch but no sound or buzzed feeling so it’s easy to miss the door bell now. It’s annoying that I miss the delivery especially I am @home all the time because of the pandemic. Can you please fix this issue? Thanks ### 1/5 — Shockingly basic *2020-11-12, version 1.1.1* For the amount of money charged to put these basic devices in homes, you would think the functionality would be on par with systems that cost $200. You cannot use this app with multiple properties. If I have two homes, I can’t get doorbell notifications from both homes, only one. Not sure if the company is part of Control 4, I am not impressed. What’s the sense of all the money spent if the security intercom and video at our doors does not work? Have installed and reinstalled and worked with help desk. Worked the first time and not since. Hopefully this gets worked out. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Worked until update *2020-11-24, version 1.1.1* *update* once this app or the control4 app updates you have to reset /unplug your control4 system and restart for everything to work as its supposed too. Once that is done, it works great. Glad I spent all this money on a doorbell that doesn’t work !! Was ok until update and now it’s useless ### 5/5 — C4 does it again *2018-08-05, version 1.0.2* Only thing that will keep me from going down from a 5 star rating is C4 releasing new hardware in the near future that trumps what was recommended during the announcement over a year ago that I had upgraded to just for this. Since the day this was announced I have been waiting and wondering if it would meet the description given to it by Control4. I would say it not only meets them but far exceeds them. If you are having problems I recommend looking at the ISP setup and speeds as well as the network your hardware relays on as both play a huge part in this apps performance. ### 5/5 — Fantastic *2018-08-04, version 1.0.2* Control4 did a great job! The previous recommended 3rd party vendor voip only really worked when on the same local network. And then only if the voip app had been started after a phone reboot. This app works both on local network and away from the home which is great. Two comments: 1) if you are on a call when the is someone rings the doorstation then you will not be notified 2) there is a significant lag (multiple seconds) from doorstation Bell press to the intercom app ringing. Other than that it does what it sets out to do. ### 3/5 — Crashing *2021-08-18, version 1.1.4* New bug: Intercom Anywhere App crashes on iOS 14.7.1, app version 1.14; crashes on both wifi and cellular/LTE. This makes it unusable for me. I have up to date 4sight and am on 3.2.2. It’s been a couple weeks and there has been no update or fix that I can find. ### 3/5 — iPad? *2021-07-17, version 1.1.4* Why doesn’t the app work on iPads? That would be very useful in my house where we have iPads that control the c4 house automations among other things. ### 3/5 — Allow Intercom To Bypass Do Not Disturb *2020-12-19, version 1.1.2* Alarm.com has the ability to bypass do not disturb on iOS. It would be nice if intercoms anywhere could do the same.
