・This is an exclusive application that link between the apartment block system VIXUS, VIXUS HORIZO and the video intercom ROCO-WideSmapho for houses.	
・The application can only be used when connected with the household Wi-Fi. However, some notifications are received even at outside.
・The installation of an interface adapter (VHW-FMC) and a commercially available Wi-Fi router are necessary in the case of using VIXUS.	
 If the intercom unit you are connecting to is VI(K)-RMXC(-S), however, the installation of an interface adapter (VHW-FMC) is unnecessary.
・The installation of a commercially available Wi-Fi router is necessary in the case of using a ROCO-WideSmapho.
・The adaptor (APN-AD) should be requested from within the intercom app for free of charge.
・When using this intercom app and the adaptor (APN-AD), internet connection is required. Internet usage fee may be borne by the user.
・It is necessary to launch the application again in the event of restarting your smartphone or tablet.	
・The app may undergo forced termination in the event it does not connect with the intercom for a long period.	
・The app must be launched in order to respond to a visitor’s call.	
・The app cannot be used with IPv6 network protocol.

今まで旧アプリを使っていたのがiOS 14で起動時にクラッシュして使い物にならなくなったので、調べてみたらこちらが新しいアプリとのこと。なぜ別アプリとしてリリースし直すのかわからないし、設定は引き継がれない。新アプリは基本的にアダプター前提で、VIK-RMXCならアダプターなしで使えると公式サイトには書いてあったけど、アプリの設定方法がアダプター前提になっててVIK-RMXCの場合どこに何を入力すればいいのかわからない。ハードウェアの開発部署とアプリの開発部署とマーケティング・ユーザーサポートが分断された典型的な日本的組織で作られた製品という感じで、ユーザー視点が一切ない。

LINEやTwitterなどはアプリを起動しなくても通知が来ますよね？　しかしこれはアプリを起動させないと通知が来ません。
iOSではいくつかの条件で使ってないアプリが終了させられるので、時々アプリを起動させてあげる必要があります。
結果、我が家ではほぼ全く使い物になってません。
苦労して設定したのにがっかりです。

極めて評価が低いので心配したが、機能した。JH-24APBもレシーバーも有線接続。ルーターはアイホン動作確認済みのものでなく、比較的高性能のメッシュ。ドアホンの音が鳴ってからスマホに通知が来るのに１秒から2秒、アプリ画面から応答可能になるまで0.5秒くらいはかかる。室内親機から直接応答するにしても、作業中断、室内親機までの移動時間を考えると非実用的とは言えない。着信は今のところ確実にしてくれている。今後もう少し反応が早くなればと期待するが、現状でもそれほど悪くない。
