Diese Synchronisation hat von Anfang an gefehlt. Apples Ansatz der App-spezifischen Datenbanken ist nicht nur affig, sondern es bedeutet ganz konkret, dass ich das iPad nicht fürs Business nutzen kann. Das ist ab heute anders: Denn jetzt kann man endlich - tja sogar ohne einen Klick - Ganze Arbeitsordner synchron halten wie man sie eben hat, egal ob das Zielgerät ein MacBook Air oder iPad ist. Es ist ja nicht so, dass ich uneinsichtig wäre, aber die Ordnerstrukturen waren eben zuerst da - und entsprechend sind Millionen Festplatten aufgebaut. Jetzt kann jeder dort schnell auswählen und syncen, und muss nicht in zig Apps (einzeln!!!) die Dokumente synchronisieren halten bzw. mit Tools rumschlagen, die entweder nicht richtig funktionieren oder abstürzen oder besonders witzige Verbindungsmechanismen haben. Und das Wichtigste: Die Desktop Apps von Econ (Chronosync bzw. der Chronoagent) haben jetzt über Jahre bewiesen, dass sie wirklich sauber synchronisieren, eine gute Fehlerbehandlung haben, hochgradig automatisierbar und zuverlässig sind damit in Zeiten von Abertausenden von Files die Qualität bieten, die erforderlich ist. Das scheint bei Interconnex auch so zu sein, hier wird es die Zeit zeigen. Liebe Econ-Jungs: InterConnex ist das Sahnehäubchen auf Euren Produkten. Danke für Interconnex, danke für mein "neues" iPad, das ich seit heute habe. ### 5/5 — Eccellente *2013-08-07, version 1.0.0* Uso da anni Chronosync e Chronoagent (gli aggiornamenti delle applicazioni sono gratuiti a vita…. cose da pazzi!). Adesso, con questa app, posso sincronizzare i file del macbook con il mio iPad in modo semplice e intuitivo. 5 stelle e tutta la mia riconoscenza. ### 5/5 — Better than I thought! *2013-08-07, version 1.0.0* I got an e-mail about InterConneX from Econ Technologies. I kept it in my "to read" pile for a couple of days because I thought it wasn't for me. How wrong was I..! This app is totally awesome. I'm so glad the company supported and helped me to try out and move over to ChronoSync and ChronoAgent - with them already in place, I'm set up and ready to go with InterConneX! (if you have a Mac and not tried them, you should give the the trial versions a go). InterConneX is going to be a great help by not having to worry what files I've got with me on my iPad or how much space I've got left in cloud storage. Can't wait to try out the iPhone and Mac versions, thanks guys! ### 5/5 — Accessing documents on my Mac *2013-08-06, version 1.0.0* I already use ChronoAgent to backup the Macs on my home network so I had to try InterConneX for iPad. Within a couple of minutes of installing on my iPad I was able to access and open all of the documents on my Mac Pro via WiFi, as well as copy them onto my iPad. Thanks for freeing content from apps I may want to delete later. ### 5/5 — Very Useful! *2013-08-02, version 1.0.0* I use it to copy and access service manuals and tech PDFs between my Mac and iPad while in the garage, and it makes accessing the contents of my Mac easy! ### 5/5 — Genial! *2013-08-01, version 1.0.0* At last there is an intelligent piece of software which is simple doing what a lot of people are missing since they are working with iPad and where Apple is not able to deliver (or don't want to deliver because they want our files in their iCloud). This is like a Finder on your iPad, easy to use online and offline. No more problems with several applications, unsure cloud databases, perfect. If that would also work for Mail…… I am eager to get it for my iPhone. Congratulations for your famous work! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The last update broke the app *2017-11-22, version 1.2.1* I have been using this app very successfully for many months to sync various combinations of computers and i-devices. Regrettably, the last update (mid-November 2017) broke the app and ChronoSync cannot see the ios app anymore. Consequently, it cannot sync. Hopefully, the developers will fix it soon. ### 1/5 — How do you use it??? *2016-06-08, version 1.2.1* This App completely baffles me. I use ChronoSync on two Macs for backing up and HD cloning purposes. I love that application. Super easy, straight forward to use, and very robust. This morning I downloaded ChronoAgent to a Mac and this App, InterConnecX, to an iPad. After spending nearly 4 hours this morning trying to figure out how to install and use both, I finally gave up. The user manual instruction's completely baffle me. Wish there was some sort of user forum to go to for support. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt with a one Star rating. ### 3/5 — Okay *2023-01-16, version 2.0.1* Works as expected but I was looking for an easy way to sync my ipad on the fly with Mac OS Mojave… works but loads of manual processes involved, it is not the automation I was looking for. ### 3/5 — Good but not great *2013-08-01* Works well and "as described on the box", however it seems of limited utility if others aren't using the same App. Will be a lot more useful when support for various cloud storage options is available. I'm using it to access the file space on my MacBook, which has ChronAgent installed, and it works perfectly. The ability to access *all* my files, not just those I have remembered to upload to Dropbox, is fantastic. The user interface is very good, although double-tapping to open a folder or file doesn't seem to be the usual iPad style. One thing lacking at present is the ability to search for a file or folder – once you can access a large file space, this is more or less essential. A slideshow viewer would be useful too. I found it a bit disconcerting that deletion removes a file from my Mac rather than moving it to the Trash. If the latter is technically feasible, I would prefer it, although most remote access methods work in this way. ### 5/5 — Great utility, great customer service! *2020-12-12, version 2.0.1* InterConneX is for itself an efficient file manager, which helps old Mac users like me to easily migrate into the post-computer environment of iOS bringing the flavour ofMacOS user experience. Thanks to the Econ Tech guys, who deliver this App for free , as well as they constantly do with the Chronosync updates, which I use since 2012. ### 5/5 — Das ist der Dateibrowser und Sync–Dienst, der iOS fehlt *2019-04-06, version 1.2.1* Vor 4 Jahren hatte ich ChronoSync für 40 Dollar gekauft, um ein MacBook und einen iMac zu synchronisieren. Kurz darauf schmierte mir der iMac ab und ich hatte für ChronoSync keine Verwendung mehr: 40 Dollar zum Fenster raus geworfen. Dachte ich. Bis heute. Seit drei Tagen bin ich in Besitz eines iPad Pro und erwartete nicht, dass ich so schnell an den Limitierung von iOS anecke. Als Maler und Zeichner wollte ich lediglich Fotovorlagen von meinem Mac auf das iPad ziehen ohne die iCloud zu nutzen. Keine Chance. Zwei Tage lang suchte ich nach Software-Alternativen, dann fiel mir in einem Geistesblitz ChronoSync wieder ein. Und tatsächlich hat die Software mit InterConneX iOS Unterstützung und genau die Schnittstelle, die ich gesucht habe! Ich war überglücklich heute, all meine Dateiprobleme mit dem iPad heute auf einen Schlag gelöst zu haben. Problemlos kann ich nun Fotos und PDF`s und alle weiteren Dateien auf das iPad kopieren und mit allen beliebigen Apps, die ich nutze, teilen. Und das ganz unkompliziert über Ordner auf dem Mac, die ich mit dem Ordnersystem von InterConneX synchronisiere, sobald Mac und iPad im selben Netzwerk sind. Die Software ist super schnell und funktioniert bisher ohne Probleme und Bugs. Der integrierte Viewer ist top. Ich kann mit dem ChronoAgent sogar von meinem iPad aus auf alle Dateien auf meinem Mac zugreifen! Ein hervorragendes Stück Software und bedingungslos weiterzuempfehlen, auch wenn ChronoSync nicht ganz billig ist. ### 5/5 — Rocksteady link between your Macs and iOS devices. *2018-01-18, version 1.2.1* Simply the best way to access files on your Mac from an iOS device. Its principal virtue is the solid connection running ChronoAgent on the Mac provides. Never an issue with establishing a link and a solid steady result. ### 5/5 — I've looked all over for weeks for something that does what this does! *2016-08-15, version 1.2.1* I've been looking for a long time for a way to share files between several Macs running different generations of MacOS and my iOS devices. Unlike the previous reviewer I had no trouble at all setting Interconnex up on my iOS devices and interfacing them with my computer-based files once I installed ChronoAgent on my Macs. Great little set of interconnection apps. And finally there is something like an actual file system for the iPad and iPhone. I needed this and no one else provides this functionality. Lucky to have found it. ### 5/5 — Datenzugriffe ohne Cloud *2015-09-26, version 1.2.0* Ich nutze diese App auf iPad und iPhone, um per VPN auf unseren Server mit ChronoSync Agent zuzugreifen. Das klappt ganz hervorragend, auch die weitere Integration mit iOS, wie zum Beispiel die Übertragung zur Dropbox. Ugh, I have to go upstairs to my laptop to get that chicken recipe. Wait! I can just fire up InterConneX and view my recipes -- which are located in my Documents folder on my Mac -- via my iPad. I can continue being lazy a bit longer. Thank you InterConneX! ### 5/5 — The Missing Link to Become Paperless with Your iPad *2013-09-08, version 1.0.0* The iPad is an ideal replacement to paper. The only problem is that there are limits to its storage and it is missing a hierarchical file system. By adding ChronoAgent on a Mac, that Mac becomes an efficient file server for this app. This is valuable in itself, but becomes even more interesting when using the local Dropbox image on the (file server) Mac, generally providing much faster performance than going through the Dropbox app ... assuming your local Wi-Fi is efficient, of course. So far, the app has been very stable; I have had only one crash in all my extensive use, which started as soon as the app was released. Performance is very good. If you don't want to store all of your files on your iPad, or simply don't have the room, this is an excellent solution. ### 5/5 — Just the thing *2013-08-08, version 1.0.0* I have about 100 Gb of videos in iTunes on my MacMini. I have room on my iPad (where I really want to watch them) only for a few at a time. This app lets me forget about swapping my videos in and out.
