Most things are free but everything else in amazing ### 3/5 — Why the pay wall and unnecessary updates *2026-04-15, version 6.3* It’s an easy to use app and has a lot of possibilities with its free version. That is until they get rid of a lot of cool features. Furniture no longer available that were previously. Paint colors are now locked to 9 swatches for ‘categories’ of colors like blush or teal like colors. Many textures are now gone. It’s not end all be all but it’s still frustrating when returning to a build and half the things are missing. ### 3/5 — Windows *2026-01-22, version 6.1.4* Absolutely love this app, but sometimes I can’t get the windows to face the right way. This is especially frustrating when I want to use a bay window and it curves inwards into the space rather than outward. ### 4/5 — Only thing missing *2024-12-01, version 6.1.1* The only thing missing is being able to add a roof. If that was available this would be perfect. ### 4/5 — Nearly Perfect *2024-05-24, version 5.1.1* This app is easy to learn, amazingly robust with choices for design and control over just about everything. I have not yet tried to 3d import a model, but I’m looking forward to that feature. So far, the only items I need are variable ceiling heights (vaulted ceilings change everything!), and I would love if it integrated with additional models for furniture. That said, I added a platform couch and am crushed there is no reference for how to find it irl! I have had some memory related bugginess, but usually a restart fixes it. I notice if I use it for hours (which I do, I have a problem), the memory issues magnify. I am using a basic iPad so honestly it’s likely the hardware as much as any software bugs. I need tutorials! I have yet to successfully get stairs attached in any way that looks normal. And I need a default option to turn off “snap to object”. But these are user issues and preferences, not complaints. Really, I have spent more time on this app than any game. Ever. ### 3/5 — Great design & landscape ideas. But many problems too.!!! *2023-11-22, version 4.0.2* Everything’s good except when you rearrange a room, you go back to your project and find 10 things have moved into different places.??? Moving everything back is time consuming and irritating.?? Why did moving one thing into another create havoc with plants, rocks and walls on the other side of the house.?? 3 stars is the most I could think of. ### 4/5 — Pretty great! *2023-08-06, version 4.0.2* Honestly, It is easy to understand and great for about 9+ years! No ads! The only reason i give a 4 is because the graphics are pretty good, but not as good in the pictures shown above. I don’t know how to use the picker function. ### 2/5 — Outdated Furniture *2023-05-31, version 4.0.2* I had this for a few years and taught myself a lot and planned my entire house. But when adding furniture I was very disappointed that the pieces are very outdated. The table sets all have cloths. The furniture is not located in half the furniture stores. The cabinets and appliances are not updated to the the past 25 years. It’s like 1980 & 1990’s time zone. The bedroom furniture lacks as well. I cancelled my subscription after all this time because I finished the layout and needed to work on the inside. After all the time I spent in this program it’s very disheartening to have to use another one for updates and start all over. ### 5/5 — few models *2023-05-18, version 4.0.2* please make an update with modern models 🙏🏻 super app 👍 ### 4/5 — Best absolutely free app ive tried. *2023-03-26, version 4.0.2* This is by far the most enjoyable 100%free home design app ive tried. Most are either only free to a certain extent or are not really customizable. This game is very customizable and very fun to mess around with. Ive made 3 different layouts and i will probably make more. I love how it has square footage so you can plan more realistic ideas for your home. Im giving it 4 stars because… 1. It took me awhile to figure out how to change colors, and some items just look plain weird when you try to change the color. 2. It really needs more items like pet stuff, kids items, yard items and decorative pieces. 3. It can get kinda frustrating trying to decorate, like putting a vase on the kitchen counter top can be a real pain if your unable to get the right angle. 4. It keep switching to walk through mode, not hugest deal but kind of annoying. ### 4/5 — Love it but.. *2023-03-04, version 4.0.2* Ok, this is really amazing! But you should add for furniture and decor and stuff. The normal ones get really boring. It's nice that you give me all of the dimensions on the wall to either side, but I can only move the item, rather than change it. I am working on top of a photo of my house plan. In the layout view, when I select a room, I can see the underlying fixed items I'm trying to duplicate, like cabinets. If the interior view could be transparent and show the underlying photo, it would be much easier to work with. ### 4/5 — Love this app! *2022-12-03, version 4.0.2* This app is great! It is easy to use and almost completely free. It needs some updating, but it makes up for it with the fact that you can adjust the size of everything. I am surprised that this amazing app doesn’t have more people using it. Suggestions: Please try to update the furniture especially in the kitchen. It would be cool if we could make roofs to. Though it gets a bit hard sometimes and the app is a tiny bit sensitive.
