### 4/5 — Great Quick reference, lacking grammatical annotations

*2026-04-30, version 2.4*

This is great for quick referencing Greek/hebrew words and the definitions. I have used it many times, unfortunately I end up reverting to Biblehub or other applications for the grammatical annotations or parsing abbreviations.

Example:

Part of speech
Person
Tense
Mood
Voice
Case
Number
Gender
Comparison

In John 3:16 the word used is for loved is:

agapesen - Verb, Aorist Indicitive Active, 3rd Person singular

This signifies an action that happened in the past and is completed.

In the app it does not present this information

### 4/5 — Different original language word

*2026-01-31, version 2.4*

Handy useful app alongside my KJV. However, in two cases, I found the Hebrew or Greek words were different from other Hebrew and Greek Bibles. The English word was the same, but the word of origin different.

### 4/5 — Tamanho da Letra

*2025-12-15*

Gostei muito do app, porém, ficaria melhor se houvesse a possibilidade de aumentar as letras para um tamanho bem maior.

### 4/5 — Keeps getting better

*2025-03-08, version 2.4*

Thank you 😊 👍

### 3/5 — There's a bug! Will update if fixed

*2024-08-19, version 2.4*

Upon changing font size, some words may dissapear/cut or jumbled, different size gives different bug, please update the app! Thank you!

### 3/5 — Disappointed

*2024-04-03, version 2.3*

New Testament has Greek only. Attempted contacting developer, but was never contacted back.

### 4/5 — excellent resource

*2024-03-06, version 2.2*

interface is a little cumbersome but the tool is an excellent resource! Thank you!

3/6/2024 update
The new interface is a tremendous improvement! Well done!

By far this Bible is one of my most useful resources! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Keeps Getting Better

*2024-02-27, version 2.0*

thanks for building a simple + smooth interface. it's so easy to maneuver. again, thanks 🙏🏾

### 5/5 — Great Resource

*2024-02-22, version 2.0*

I have been pleased with this Bible resource to read the text in the original Greek.
I love the new update. Makes this app even easier to use.

### 4/5 — Needs a couple of features

*2024-02-19, version 2.0*

Does not have the ability to print a verse.
The copy function does not copy the spacing/formating.

### 4/5 — Excellent Effort

*2023-09-03, version 1.0*

I have Interlinear Bible by Marin Loch for iPhone X and MacAir M1 (2020). First, it is great to have interlinear (non-reverse) to see syntax, original letters, along with English and pronunciation. A in this regard. However, the negative issue is that there is no way to resize the text font. It is super small on both iPhone and M1, which makes for squinty eyes or need to accessibility zoom in for M1. All said, I'm so grateful for a free app that offers this for serious Bible study.

### 5/5 — Wish it had concordances like the desktop version

*2023-01-19, version 1.0*

I’ve used the desktop version for many years, finding no other program as useful and fast. The app is very good, worth the money, but wish it also had the Hebrew and Greek concordances as does the desktop version. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Perfectly Simple and so Useful

*2022-11-27, version 1.0*

I love that this app is not only an interlinear of the Hebrew and Greek, but also has the transliteration as well.
It’s excellent for quick cross referencing of Hebrew and Greek words and I find myself using it constantly along with my English only Bible apps.
It’s simple and easy to use and that’s what makes it perfect in my humble opinion.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — NO search feature??!

*2026-06-25, version 2.4*

How in the world is this useful without a search feature? Weird! Please add it.

### 1/5 — Charged$6.99

*2024-07-16, version 2.4*

I like the app. But why was I charged $6.99 just now. Where’s this stated at?? If your charging for this u need to make it open about it. Being this is a Bible it’s borderline thievery

### 1/5 — I was looking for more

*2023-12-06, version 1.0*

No parsing information. No hiperlinks to lexical information and origin of words. The Hebrew/Greek Interlinear Bible for Android has all these. Why make something inferior?

### 1/5 — Don’t buy.

*2023-09-08, version 1.0*

Very poor program. Hard to see the print because it is very faint. Once you go to a book you have to close the app and reopen to go back to settings. And very limited settings. Not worth $2.99

### 1/5 — Could’ve been much better

*2019-11-10*

Thw app is simple to use but there’s no options whatsoever. You can’t increase font size, change colours or backgrounds or search. More so, the light grey font for the English text is close to unreadable. And the headers and footers are very annoying. Not recommended at all.

**Developer response:** the new version includes fullscreen mode and the ability to change text size (and many more features)

### 1/5 — Partially loads on iPad mini but doesn't load any chapters

*2018-10-29, version 1.0*

Partially loads on iPad mini running iOS version 9 but doesn't load any chapters or verses. It looks like a good app and if there is a bug fix for the problem I would be happy to use it.

### 2/5 — Almost what I need.

*2026-07-26, version 2.5*

I thought I was going to get a literal, exact translation along side of the original tongue.

Instead, what I got was the original language, along side of a modernized interpretation, based on today’s usage.

I can get that from any of my English Bible versions.

If it weren’t for being able to touch the text and find other usages, this app would be totally useless.

We seem to forget, the KJV is based on 420 year old grammar and English usage.

All other English version stay true to that form, but interpret with modern definitions and usage, forgetting to account for the etymology of words. Meaning; eliminate the evolution of words, and return to their 420 year-old definitions.

This is why we have so many false doctrine today.

### 2/5 — Not complete

*2026-07-01, version 2.4*

I like the chapters in the bible but you are missing the book of Enoch and most important you miss say The Creator’s Name which is יְהֹוָה YeHoVaH. It is NOT Yahweh. Anyone who can read Hebrew knows by the vowel points that you have mispronounced The Creator’s Personal Name. Yah means GOD. His Name יְהֹוָה means I will be what I will be. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh is the meaning of The Creator’s Name. It is NOT a “Memorial”. GOD is NOT dead. He said: Exodus 3:15 (CJB 2016) This is my name forever; this is how I am to be remembered generation after generation.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! Please check out latest version which adds more study tools.

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2022-10-23, version 1.0*

Resource is fine, could use a concordance feature, however interface is unacceptably poor, especially considering a similar app is available on Android for free and is mich higher quality.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Bible

*2026-08-23, version 2.5*

So good for reading greek and Hebrew alongside English with translation

### 5/5 — What an upgrade!

*2026-07-26, version 2.5*

I love the update!!!!
What a pleasant surprise when I opened the app and everything is hyperlinked.
This has always been my go-to for the Greek and Hebrew texts and now I have even more to love

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2025-07-17, version 2.4*

l’m currently working through Kiel and Delitzsch’s OT commentary plus some of Vos’s and Green’s exegetical/polemical contra the various schools of so-called higher criticism. Being able to use the interlinear text plus highlight specific words is invaluable.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2025-04-21, version 2.4*

I'm so very pleased with this Bible! It's so comprehensive and includes everything that it says it does! ❤️
I had downloaded his other app that was $2.99 before I saw this one. Unfortunately that app only had the Greek underneath the scriptures, and didn't have the concordances, etc. So I asked for a refund so I could download this one. I'm so happy that he willingly did that for me and I love this app and will definitely be using it a lot! Thank you so much for a wonderful app and for your kindness to me.

### 5/5 — Must Have!

*2025-04-16, version 2.4*

As a Pastor I have a great library of tools to draw from, but this is easily one of my top five! It rare to fine simplicity and powerful rolled into a single application. I have profesiionally studied both Hebrew and Greek and this app helps tremendously in keeping those languages fresh in my daily devotionals!

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2025-04-08, version 2.4*

This App is superb and I recommend it not only for its spiritual content but also for the facility it provides to analyse each word for its
various meanings as well as its pronunciation. It is also a good tool learn Greek and Hebrew words and phrases.
The usefulness of this App would be enhanced greatly if it could be provided with a search function.
Many, many thanhs. Demetrios

### 5/5 — Perfect for learning

*2025-04-04, version 2.4*

This Bible app is an absolute pleasure to read! I am a senior so resizing the text is imperative and makes it so practical for me. Strongs reference is a big plus - very nice app, thank you very much!

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2025-03-28, version 2.4*

Does exactly what I paid for - an interlinear Gk/Hb/En Bible containing all books. Fantastic resource to go along my other resources, and the UI is simple and effective.

Night mode is sublime.

### 5/5 — Loving It

*2025-01-06*

Useful on the phone or laptop, helpful as biblehub's interlinear but more streamlined, much like an actual paper book back in the day. Grateful it's free, and glad the developer has integrated Strong's!

### 5/5 — The update is much appreciated!

*2024-03-05, version 2.2*

The latest update to this app fixed many of the problems I had with it. Access to the concordance is a big plus.
