Gives you a reading when you have no connection! ### 2/5 — Uncustomisable *2021-10-17* The app does exactly that tells you what your connected at and speed. What I would like to be able to do is only monitor my wifi and that way if my home router goes down as in drops the internet I would get a notification and it’s logged. I feel this app is lazy and for 1.49 should be free as you cannot change any settings. That I could find anyway. Developer if this is not the case please contact me and I will re think the review. But as it is. I can only give 2 stars as it’s very very basic. On or off. ### 4/5 — Good Real-Time Monitor; Some Issues *2021-06-10* A nice, simple monitor that shows real-time internet connection speed. I needed something like this to troubleshoot a flakey internet connection. I noticed that when my internet connection dropped (AirPort showed a disconnect) this application showed 0 Mb/s rate but the screen was green and reported “Connected”. The screen should have turned red at this point. I would request a feature to log and time-stamp a connection drop, in addition to correcting the issue I noted above. Otherwise, the real-time feature is very helpful. ### 4/5 — For me all works great *2021-04-12* I’m liking this tool/App a lot. This would be my wish/request Have it also display the SSID of the WIFI ### 2/5 — Gives FALSE positives. *2020-12-02* I’d like to request a refund. This app only PARTIALLY works. The app shows “connectivity” true enough, but ACTUAL connectivity to the internet is something else. I purposely blocked my iPad at the router so it doe not have connectivity to the internet, but, it still shows GREEN and even bandwidth passed. It SHOULD be red because no internet application works, because the iPad is blocked. As soon as I turn on the cellular (and turn off WiFi) on the iPad, the internet applications works again and the status turns green. I would also recommend changing the bandwidth to megabytes instead of megabits. That’s very misleading. Who uses megabits??? In conclusion, I want a refund because this app does not work as advertised entirely and if there is no ACTUAL internet access, then the app should be showing red. ### 5/5 — Stevie g *2020-10-16* Great app for checking internet status anywhere around your house does exactly what it claims ### 5/5 — It works well. *2020-05-31* I like this app. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It alleviates the pain of wondering if you actually have internet or not. Quickly. Sounds simple. And it is wonderfully so. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. With the new update we solved all the problems you mentioned. The app now distinguishes between wifi and cellular data and always finds out, whether you are really connected to the internet or if only the wifi sign shows up, but there is no connection. I think you will like the update. ### 5/5 — New version works great!! *2019-11-13* Edit - new version works great. I have a pretty flakey internet connection at home. I was hoping this little app would be able to give me a realtime indication of whether or not my internet connection was up. The actual reading seems to be delayed from reality. The AirPort utility will report the connection is up long before this one does. If a refresh button could be added that would force the app to check again, this might be very useful. I'm not sure how it is determining internet availability but maybe some kind of setting that would allow for different mechanisms would be useful as well. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback.
